Extremely well built. It is accurate considering it is a BB gun. Using full auto is a blast. I used light lubrication in the loader and it functions very well. I did not/have not experienced any of the problems I saw on UTube. The gun is expensive, but you get what you pay for and this is built to last a lifetime. Also, being battery powered instead of C02 powered will save a lot of expense over the life of this rifle. Battery power is the same shot after shot unlike the variables using Co2. Overall, I am completely satisfied.

to be completely honest even a real gun feels cheaper than this the mag kinda sucks and wiggles around but no feeding issues in my opinion the only thing needing improvement is just that the mag could be thicker

As the title states, the gun feels good in the hands and is made with superb quality overall. Having an electric airgun is a blast, no cocking, pumping, annoying co2 tanks, Etc. ... it really is fantastic. I'm sure the fun my son and I get out of it will make it a worthwhile investment. Just buy one and you'll agree. Now onto the minor imperfections: Factory sights are a joke and cheap compared to the rest of the gun. Thow them away. The speed loader can be a little fussy. With practice it becomes a great tool but its fussy out of the box. Lethargic. The anvertized 410 fps is just a pinch to weak to pierce tin cans or ring my little swinging targets at 15 yards. It would be nice to see an upgraded spring or future versions that hit 450-500 fps. I'd pay an extra $100 to have the added power. Last con: need more mags! No extra mags available yet. This thing sings through the bbs and dang it would be great to be able to do multiple mag dumps back to back. Onto my positive observations: Battery lasts FOREVER! I have not had to recharge the battery once yet and fired +750 bbs. Advertised spec is 1000 but I bet it's closer to 1250 or 1300 as I still have zero signs that the battery is losing juice. Accuracy seems to be good once you have a 2-4x optic on it. I can draw smiley faces on targets in full auto and "DISCO DISCO" in bbs on a cardboard box from 30 feet away. Quality. I already said it but I'll say it again... very high quality, higher quality than most real ar15s on the market. Bottom line: get one! Support the company to drive engineering and development forward with these electric guns, they are a blast to shoot!

This gun is awesome, grandkids loved it too. LiPo battery lasts a long time. Oiled the speed loader and magazine, made it easier to load the magazine.

This BB gun is amazing! The accuracy rivals many of my rifled pellet guns, even on full-auto. Since it is electric, there is no drop off like CO2 guns with consecutive shots. In the nearly 2 months that I have owned my 400e, I've put at least 1,000 rounds through it at a cost of about five bucks! BB's are cheap! Things that I don't like number one are the sights. They are windage adjustable only and only have one aperture. I would like to see sights like you find on the Sig Sauer MPX/MCX and Vertus-fully adjustable and two apertures. Really, this gun needs a scope. It's that accurate! I mounted a UTG Bugbuster 3x9x32 which is perfect on this gun. Over the weekend I was busting 12oz cans at 20 yards with ease. The magazine can only be loaded with the included speed loader. No big deal and very easy to load. The loader is plastic, so might be a good idea to get a second one. Also, when you load a mag you will loose several bb's due to the design of the mag. Again, no big deal. This gun does not come with the battery and charger, so make sure you buy them. I got a second battery as well. They are not expensive. Barra sells them and they are also available on Amazon. The cons are all very minor. Overall this is BB gun rocks! It's my new favorite! Yeah, it's not cheap, but considering you don't have to buy CO2 or an HPA compressor, it is VERY inexpensive to operate.

The speed loader

First I have to say this thing is built better than an actual AR. It's almost too heavy. It will be worth fixing or rebuilding in the future for sure. It's not a throw away.
I've owned more bb guns than I can remember over the years (I refuse to totally grow up) and this is the only one I felt was worthy of a quality sight. Maybe a good red dot or scope. Idk what's different about it but at 20-25 yards I can consistently hit 2-4 inch targets until I get a bad bb. (I've only used Daisy bbs so far) It kinda blows my mind. The loading process is a learned one. Found a few tricks to help keeping bbs from jamming up in the loader. Hold it horizontally for one. The loader is cheap though. The higher gloss the bb has the easier the process should be. I'm going to try the Air Venturi bbs next. Yes, it is expensive but well worth it. The only thing that remains is to see how long it lasts.
Just know you'll spend more time loading than shooting.

Not only is the gun fun to shoot the customer service is best in class answering questions. My buddies will be ordering their 400E soon !

I bought this assuming it would take care of vermin, and it does but not fast. It doesn't have much power. I would have returned it, but there is no other electric alternative. That being said, it is a superb thing.

I'm impressed with the 400E .177 caliber BB rifle . Accuracy is superb. One inch grouping at 20 yards, right out of the box . I didn't need to adjust anything.

"Remember that skill game at the Carnival?" Well, yes this is that, and more. However, I can't exterminate rodents at 40ft, humanely. I set up a kill zone near my garage wall at the foundation. I set up Wraith HD Nightvision as well. Sniped from an opened bedroom window. Love the dwsgn and all, I'll need more foot pounds. Can I receive the knife design with the emergency strat/line cutter? Bought this for wife to disincentive deer to eat her flower. Her comment - this is a blast. Add up what you would pay in c02 cartridges with other guns and this thing is a steal.

Had trouble loading it, but it is fantastic in shooting it.

I am very pleased with this all metal air gun once you own one of these you will never go back to the hassle of buying those expensive co2 it's the absolute closest thing to a real firearm thanks for the good looking and powerful air gun the barra 400

It has a really realistic metal frame it's just like the real thing for real no joke and it's powerful you can have fun shooting for hours a single full battery charge gets me a thousand shoots trust me that's a lot of shooting and no expensive co2 cartridges to buy thank you barra air guns

I fired 1000 rounds through my 400E this weekend and I had a blast doing so. I like Barra's honest and up front approach to marketing this gun: it's a really fun plinking gun with full auto capabilities (it is not meant for pest control). This gun is purpose built to put a smile on your face while target shooting/plinking. With the gun being electric, I was worried that the sound would annoy me but I got used to it. It is relatively quiet and does not draw attention from neighbors. My CO2 air guns and even my spring-loaded Beeman rifle are louder than the 400E. I do think air guns sound better when fired but I can load multiple magazines and hundreds of BB's and never have to change out CO2. So, that is worth the sacrifice of a more "œmechanical" sounding shot. I can live with the electric noise in lieu of spending $$$ on CO2 and the time it takes to change it out. The 400E was pretty accurate with the provided sites right out of the box. My targets were all placed between 10 "“ 30 yards away. I shot both cans and targets and I prefer setting up cans and blasting them in full auto. ☺ I will be upgrading to a scope for better accuracy but it's still a solid aiming gun. I recommend purchasing at least two batteries and lots of BB's. Verdict: Lots of fun. Worth the price of admission specifically because of the $$$ saved on CO2. Recommend! Pros: Lots of fun Shoots straight / accurate Full auto capability (buy lots of BB's!) Nice weight / balance Adjustable stock Cons: Provided BB speed loader: if it breaks, you can't load the magazine. I tried to order an extra but the site says they are out of stock.

Purchased the Barra 400E and absolutely love it! The look and feel is like a real gun and it operates beautifully. Very happy with this purchase and I hope it brings me long lasting enjoyment!

I've only run a few clips through it, maybe 10 total but it's a lot of fun. Puts a smile on everyone face who shot it. Loading the clips with the plunger takes some getting used to. I used steel bb's. Maybe copper would load easier. I suggest buying the battery, charger and extra clip, or two. Like anything that empties clips quickly, keeping a supply of full clips is the hard part.

Fantastic BB gun. Super fun and accurate for back yard plinking. Would love to see the loading design made simpler. The auto loader plunger device jambs frequently and the plastic assembly feels way too delicate.
