Barra 400E Gen 2 BB Rifle

I've had this rifle for a year and put a 1000 or so steel bb's through it. It's a gorgeous recreation of my old M16 and weighs just about the same... Regardless of fresh charging, I can't consistently hit my targets. My problem, right? Not really. I've been shooting recreationally for 50 years, and 28 of those years were professionally on the job. Not only is this rifle too heavy, 400fps is a HUGE stretch. Like some of the cheaper spring driven rifles, the BBs are pushed up to 5" off even from a prone supported firing position. And it's too loud.

Found this online and instantly fell in love with the idea of electric vs co2. After a short research and debate with myself I "pulled the trigger" on the 400E. Can't believe how much fun this thing is! So far I have fired in the range of 2000 bbs through this without a single misfire! Showed some others this rifle and they too are impressed, between the look and feel of that of an AR chassis weapon. Great tool to take my daughter out and teach her the basics all day and hardly costs anything by comparison of 22's and such. Full auto is a great way to finish a day shooting and go out with a smile with whatever target getting destroyed. Very accurate with factory sights, although they had to be moved slightly closer together as they kept hitting low. Looking into some decent optics as my next upgrade. Biggest downsides so far are getting used to the battery maintenance (more information on this would have been helpful in the owners manual) and the lack of side or lower picatinny rails for accessories. The speed loader is nice...hangs up on occasion, but a few taps seem to get it going again. Improvement wise...I would love to see a larger capacity magazine / drum mag to those fun times that you just want to go full auto and have a blast!

Like shooting it but sometimes it jams on auto but it's nice gun👍

So much fun! Yhis thing is so much fun. Nvever have to leave the back yard to go enjoy some shooting. 100 shots per magazine is awesome as well

I bought this gun a few weeks back and it has been a blast to play with! Love the 100 round magazine, allows for plenty of shots before having to change out. The loader can be a bit challenging, but once you get it down its easy to load up the mags. I have been using the Barra bbs, and have had no jams so far. Its a great gun and love the ease of use and all the fun that can be had once the targets are all set up. Me and the grandson have spent hours outside putting this to the test and he would give it 10 stars it they were an option!

My new rifle shoots flawlessly. This thing is a lot of fun. I read of some jamming issues with inferior BBs so I bought the Barra BBs and I haven’t had any jams. Once I sighted it in it shoots very accurately for a BB rifle. I like the sights it comes with and may try a red dot just for fun. My wife even got a kick out of plinking cans with me the other day.

I absolutely love this BB gun! I have owned a lot of BB guns in my 50 years and this one is the best by far! The ability to shoot 1000 BBs with out having to pump or break a barrel and feed one pellet at a time is a game changer! Consistent power with every shot and fully automatic too! I take this gun with me when I shoot my real guns and this is the first BB gun that’s fun to shoot while real guns are being shot. I highly recommend this gun, I’ve decked mine out with a laser and flashlight combo, a 3X illuminated scope and a 45° canted flip up green dot. This gun is a BLAST!!!!!

Build appears high quality and durable. No issues after running a few thousand shots through it. Lots of fun and reasonably accurate even in full auto. Worth the price of admission!

Great BB gun and so easy to work on. Only con is the barrel is fragile with the mock silencer protruding out. Would rather have a longer rail guard for use. It was leaning up and my son tapped it and the threads broke off clean with the silencer and barrel. Had to order a new barrel and a barrel cover. Love everything else

I bought this gun for my kids Christmas, but it keeps on jamming after just a few shots. I have the correct ammunition and I’ve reached out to the help email and phone line and no one‘s returning my call. I even cleaned out the barrel and the magazine, etc. still no luck. It would be nice if somebody would email or call me back.
