German engineerings it is awesome.Fit And finish is spot on. The trigger is sweet. It is everything thing everyone has stated.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:This gun was recommended by Pyramyd chat line when I was looking at a different line. The gun is totally awesome and makes me proud to shoot and own.

I just received this a few days ago it is very accurate, and it has one of the best triggers, Diana's triggers are also very nice. Fit and finish is beautiful. You can tell they take pride in their work haven't been out far enough to test past 10 yards but it's going threw the same hole. I've put maybe a couple of hundredrounds or so and it's hitting harder i can tell.
Things I would have changed:Price. I wish the manual team with more instructions it may be a brief history but this company
What others should know:Be careful of making the trigger pull too light it can get to the point to where you barely touch it. It will go off.

liked the scope and rings deal, although i removed it as i like an r9 wearing irons. but for the extra 20, I will find a use for it. I put the fiber optic front sight on it, dot is a bit too big, but a huge difference. 40yd soup cans at very low light now. powerful, accurate. extremely well made as are all German built Beemans. easy to cock, can shoot this all day.
Things I would have changed:nothing
What others should know:after 400+ rounds, it is "calming down". shoots/ feels better. less "twangy". great for field target/ tin can ranges. With heavy pellets, could ethically take squirrels at closer ranges. But .22 better if you are going to hunt. got this one to plink.

Excellent German quality! Accuracy is excellent. A very high quality air gun, very happy with the purchase.
Things I would have changed:The safety cannot be put on after it is taken off. The rifle has to be fired!

My R9 has given me decades of shooting fun. Fantastic accuracy, if you use a good scope. When I bought mine, I put a Leopold scope on it. Springers produce a vibration that puts cheap scopes out of line.
Things I would have changed:Nothing. Great German craftsmanship.
What others should know:Buy this, and it will grow in value. Your grandkids will one day use it. Mine works best with the Kodiak pellets. DON'T use cheap or alloy pellets! I don't know why those light-weight inaccurate pellets are sold.

All of the claims of excellent fit & finish, accuracy, mechanical tolerances, great trigger, and overall German quality are true! The Mantis scope is sharp and bright and a good match for this rifle. It is pricey but an example of getting what you pay for.

Everything. I've got around 200 rounds/pellets through it so far. I have not adjusted the trigger yet. It's almost as good as my Air Arms Tx-200 out of the box. The rifle is a lot smaller than I thought. I was thinking it was the same as the Weihrauch HW 80. I think it is more like the HW 95. It dosen't matter, I really like it. It is light, has plenty of power, and very accurate...
Things I would have changed:I don't think it could get any better for a spring gun.
What others should know:Tighten the stock screws when you get it. Be warned, they are so nice, you are gonna want to get more. I'm looking at the Weihrauch Hw 80 it's big brother.

I've been shooting airguns for 50 years. This is an incredibility accurate gun, not particularly hold sensitive or pellet picky. Smooth as glass cocking. I am so glad I finally bought one.
Things I would have changed:Add some sling swivels.
What others should know:The scope with the combo is excellent. My gun shoots Air Arms and Crosman pellets well but I get my best groups with the JSB 13.43 grain.

What others should know:The rifle and scope package is great, the scope is nice and clear. Specially bought the rifle to eliminate house sparrows trying to take over tree swallow boxes. Sparrow down at 65 feet, 15 minutes after unboxing.
Highly recommended.

Pretty much everything! Unbelievable rifle! Very tight technology Very tight groups super duper German craftsmanship! What more can I say. I was averaging 1/8th inch groups all day long with h&n pellets or rws at 10 meters (11yds. )and At 35yds with very little breeze I was getting 1/2 inch groups no problem. This is a very high quality product with all of its bells and whistles in place. Absolutely love this type of gun ! Congrats to Pyramid Air for providing such wonderful gifts to us airgunners!
Things I would have changed:Nothing - it's a great rifle that does a beautiful job throughout all of the cycles from cocking to firing. The only thing I would like to see (and this is not a complaint by any means ) but I wonder if, with today's technology, is it possible to reduce some more of the vibration during the firing cycle? It's not that bad compared to other springers but still if you compare it to the Air Arms TX 200 it could use a little more taming , but other than that the gun is perfect.
What others should know:Just keep regular maintenance on this rifle and it will become a family heirloom.

Very nice build quality. Record trigger nice. Nice bluing
What others should know:Extremely hold sensitive. Can be accurate, but it is very difficult for me to achieve this with consistency. Maybe this is due to the rifle's relatively light weight. I have the beeman r9 .177 elite combo with mantis scope. Much more hold sensitive than my .177 tx 200 mk3 beech or .22 rws 34 classic T06 . Unless I hold the rifle in exactly the same way every shot accuracy goes away. Not forgiving.

I was shocked by the quality of this gun. It is very well balanced and they have done a fantastic job with the quality. I felt like I was holding one of my center fire rifles. My gun seems to like the H&N pellets the best with the JSB coming in second. The gun seems to like pellets that are a little larger in diameter. I found dime sized groupings from H&N 8.64 grain 4.51 mm at 25 yards. H&N 10.65 grain 4.50 mm came in second with groupings just a little larger than a dime at 25 yards. I have shot faster springers before but I have to admit I have not shot a more accurate springer than this one. I got this gun to help eliminate pests in my orchard and have made several kill shots in the 40 - 50 yard ranges and a couple that stretched into the 60 plus yard ranges. I would recommed this gun to anyone that is interested in accuracy.
Things I would have changed:I should have gotten one of these sooner

A nice looking rifle. Good bluing and a handsome stock. The Mantis scope with parallax adjustment is sharp and crystal clear. I removed the front and rear sights so the targets wouldn't be blurry. At 25 yards with RWS .177 Supermag 9.3 grain flat head pellets, I got 1\2" to 3\4" 5 shot groups. I believe this is excellent for an out of the box springer.
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:Be sure to occasionally make sure the stock screws are nice and snug and don't be alarmed if the wood compresses. It has more than 40 lbs. of cocking effort, so keep that in mind if you plan to shoot long afternoons.

Upon receiving my R-9 opening the box taking it out of the wrapper it was absolutely gorgeous. So I took it out pop some pallets to my amazement it cock so smooth got it surprised me I thought they sent me a gas piston Gun which I really don’t care for I wanted to spring powered rifle. It felt so smooth compared to my Beeman are one my HW 80 but before I was going to return it I took the stock off and to my surprise it was spring powered wow whole different animal. I was so happy I heard they also make them gas powered which I did not want it look like it had a nylon spring guide also with red grease around the spring. I just can’t believe how smooth it is. Very satisfied
Things I would have changed:The only thing I would suggest to change is a longer barrel like a 19 incher or at least have a choice the smaller barrel is nice but I think the velocity might be better but maybe not and for reasons. When comparing it to the R1 or the HW 80 which is the same gun the stroke is the same but the diameter of the piston is smaller maybe 28 mm instead of 30 mm I don’t know it’s just smaller. Maybe that’s why the barrel shorter it doesn’t need a longer barrel I don’t know.
