    Things I liked:

    - Great value and cheap to shoot. - Excellent workmanship. The woodwork on my rifle is beautiful. - Plenty of power for vermin. - Factory sights. This is an accurate and repeatable rifle within its limits. - Trigger is great for this price.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. The price would have to go up!

    What others should know:

At maximum pressure - eight pumps - there is plenty of power for small vermin. Eight pumps was not enough to kill a cottontail rabbit with an eye shot at 20 feet however and this was a surprise. A second shot point blank was required to finish her. I was using Crosman PHPs. The factory notch sight is good and the rifle is shipped sighted in for 30 feet. I recommend trying it before investing in the Williams peep sight. I can get 1" groups with it at 30 & 50 ft and haven't even installed the Williams yet. As many people have mentioned, it takes some muscle to pump this rifle so it is not recommended for kids.

    Things I liked:

I like everything about this rifle.I ordered my 392 used from PA,it has a few scratches on the wood and some paint chips, but it shoots great and works good.

    Things I would have changed:

The paint that is put over the nice brass.

    What others should know:

I am 67 years old and is a little hard to do those last 2 pumps so i mostly do 6 and think i can work up 8 after awhile, even tho 6 will go thru both sides of a vegie can.Accuracy is super .

    Lightweight. Looks. Power. Accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The heavy trigger.....but there are great solutions for that. Better rear sight.

    What others should know:

With just a little bit of work this gun will really shine and impress you.

    Things I liked:

Small game hunting capabilities.Wood stock (always a plus in my book). Great heft makes it feel like it dishes out the damage I desire in a .22 (and it does). Accuracy is really good.

    Things I would have changed:

Bump it up to 750 fps and I will be a happy man. VERY hard to pump that is why I deducted a star for value for money but if your strong you can endure. Not much else worth complaining about

    What others should know:

Again with all of my multi pump pneumatic reviews dont smash your fingers or the skin on your palm in the pump handle it hurts really bad.

    Things I liked:

The wood stock has a great fit and finish to it. The trigger was short and crisp. I had it sighted in on iron sights in 10 minutes. Overall this is a must have airgun. 5 stars all the way!

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing!

    What others should know:

The 392 Benjamin loves the RWS Super-H-Point in 14.2 grains.

    Things I liked:

Well built, accurate rifle for the money. With crow magnums, I was able to key hole every shot at 10 yards. It is very accurate out to 20 or 30 yards. It's a pump rifle so it's not hold sensitive.

    Things I would have changed:

Dovetail grooves would be nice. I could not keep a scope zeroed with the benjamin mounts. The iron sights could be better and need windage adjustment. It only has elevation.

    What others should know:

Beeman crow mags worked best for me through this rifle. I filed the rear sight to adjust for windage. Not the best method but it works. I will get a williams peep sight soon.

Heard great things about the 392 and PA...

    Things I would have changed:

7th damaged product sent to me(front sight post bent at 10 to 15 degrees to the left), this is the 6th review without vulgarity or the mention of anything restricted that won't get published because it isn't positive.

    What others should know:

Don't bother leaving an honest review if your experience was negative... They don't publish those. ie My 4 totally honest RWS48 reviews.

    Things I liked:

I have owned a Sheridan 5mm for 40 years and bought a .22 Benjamin to have a new gun I like this rifle, but the quality is not as good as my old Sheridan. It is very accurate and is build well enough to last me the rest of my life.

    Things I would have changed:

I really liked the walnut stock on my sheridan and it would have been a nice stock on the Benjamin too but I guess to stay within a price range they cheaped out on the stock and plastic trigger guard.

    What others should know:

I feel the gun is worth every penny I paid for it. I installed a Williams peep and this gun is now very accurate with JSB pellets in 14.3 grain.

    Things I liked:

Solid construction. Good lever operation. Nice wood stock.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle was too hard for me to pump. It was all I could do to get three pumps. I also would have liked something with a magazine so that you could more easily shoot additional rounds - I don't know that this is mechanically feasible. I actually sent my rifle back because it was too difficult for me to pump (I guess I am a wimp!) and I immediately realized that I would not be able to enjoy it or get the full use of the gun if I could not pump it up to the range I desired. I wanted to use the gun to hunt and/or eliminate rodents - rabbits, squirrels, etc. I think it would need to be pumped up to at least 8 pumps for that use.

    What others should know:

This gun takes a lot of muscle to pump up. It is reasonably heavy. It takes a lot of time to re-load. My belief is that it is a spectacular gun for someone who wants to do target competition and who has the strength to pump it up enough for maximum effectiveness.

    Things I liked:

Adjustable power by the number of strokes you put in.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a scope mount for it.

    What others should know:

I bought one of these in 1976 and it is still going strong. The finish is gone and it is now brass instead of black but it is still very accurate and will take squirrels and rabbits with regularity.

    Things I liked:

Old fashioned quality, solid rifle. I took it out of the box, put in a cheapo benjamin pellet and knocked a squirrel off a pole at 75ft with 5 pumps - first shot from the gun. The thing fell dead like it was electrocuted. Tickled pink, I could'nt believe it. I love this gun

    Things I would have changed:

After shooting it a few more times, it is kind of loud for an air rifle, but so what... maybe a trade off for good power

    What others should know:

Don't be nervous about buying this gun, it is really high quality

    Things I liked:

Solidly built, nice power range controlled by number of pumps allowing it to be used safely in different situations, lots of aftermarket adjustments/customizations possible (do a search for "steroid" builds), and it has been around for decades with legions of loyal owners

    Things I would have changed:

Rear open sight is disappointing... it is workable, but underwhelming in comparison to the rest of the gun. The adjustment screws are clunky, it can be easily be bent out of shape, and the method used to attach it to the gun can be detrimental to barrel's connection to the rest of the gun. (I've replaced mine with the Williams Peep sight). Different finish options to the metal... I would have preferred to have the brass exposed instead of the black paint that is already being scuffed up on mine.

    What others should know:

On mine, the front lever is not perfectly flush with the rest of the stock when in shooting position and has a slight give to it. My other benjamin's (60+ year old 310) fore-stock/lever is rock solid and I found it a little disconcerting when I first opened the box of the 392 that the new one had a bit of a wabble to it. Overall, I would hope for a bit more quality control before one of these leave the factory, but as i said in the "thing I like" section, the gun is friendly to tuning and can worked on when you have time and is still a good value for the price.

    Things I liked:

Well made and rugged. Good travel and field gun. Accurate

    Things I would have changed:

Like so many others, I would put a peep sight on the gun and the rear slider is a problem and looks cheap.

    What others should know:

I have the Sheridan H 5mm pistol, The Sheridan 5mm silver streak rifle, Diana 5g, .177pistol, Diana 36 .177 rifle and 2 crossman 760s - I like my Sheridan, but rather have the 5mm over the 22cal

At 25yds out of the box it was dead on. I was hitting a target 3"x3" with no problem. The finish on the rifle is beautiful.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    What others should know:

Be sure and check that things are tight and screwed in good before you shoot. Travel can loosen screws and bolts.

This gun is powerful. It is well built and is good looking. DID I say Powerful?

    Things I would have changed:

nothing needs changing..... more power please...

    What others should know:

Excellent gun for the idea , 22 caliber, lots of power, No tanks or pumps.... simple and clean. It is lighter than my German springer . I will add a scope soon and then submit another review on it's shooting ability. So, far, it is pleasant to use. I owned one in 1968 as a child I bought it new ... and so this is a interesting gun to use. My other guns are German, RWS pistol, Tech Force 78 , .22 CO2 rifle....which is great. shoot and I love it in co2 and .22.

    Things I liked:

Price. Weight, or lack thereof. Likes heavy pellets. Old school coolness.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing really.

    What others should know:

To be honest, after receiving my 392 from Pyramid, I didn't even open the box. Instead, I immediately relabeled the shipping box and sent it off to Mac1 for a billet/steriod tune. The trigger pull is nice and crisp. I'd guess that it is around 3#~4# pull. What has blown my mind is the power that this pumper has. When sighting it in at 15 yards, I pumped it four pumps. The 18gr Crow Magnum pellet went through eight layers of cardboard and lodged itself into the wooden fence back stop. This gun with the Mac1 mod still could have been pumped another eleven times. I'm certain that it would have shot right through the fence had I done that. This gun seems to like heavy pellets. As a hunter, that translates into it being a good rabbit rifle. I think I'll head to the forest this weekend and give it a try.

I like everything. my benji is a hand me down gun its 12 years old but well maintained LOVE it. very accurate no 1/2 inch grouping with the pellets I use WOW i use a locally made Ramsel's "silver streak". no problem at 15 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

    trigger pull should be lighter.

    What others should know:

pumping no problem - shooter should sit down on the floor and put the gun on your shoulder use both hands in pumping.
