Things I liked:

This gun is crazy accurate, it is by far the best gun i have. it is my the First pcp gun, I like everything about it.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

What others should know:

The air pump that i bought along with the gun is only for the young, it is a good pump, But not for the young or the elderly. The money it cost for the pump, for a little more money I could have bought a scuba tank and adapter. Witch I did. It will make the gun a lot more enjoyable.

Things I liked:

quiet

Things I would have changed:

valve system functions poorly above 2500 psi, seriously underpowered below 2000 psi, cheap materials thoughtless design and poor construction continually bring Marauder back to the repair table, poorly balanced and difficult to carry

What others should know:

very disappointed mislead by the 5 star rating and sales pitch, unable to activate star rating system 1 star, 1 star, 2 star

    Things I liked:

I do not write many reviews because I don't trust them. Here is my review anyway ..This is EXACTLY what you should expect from a PCP at this price point. You can get 4-5 mags per full charge and all shots will be about equal. Is the first shot that is going in one side of the rat skull and out the other the same as the last, no, but the last will break through one side of a rodents skull just the same.

    Things I would have changed:

I also have the field and target Benjamin, it would be nice if they used the same mags. I would also add a rail to the bottom, I like a little extra support when you are taking a long shot and this is not quite a pistol, too long, but not a rifle, too short... If it were 50cal it would make one heck of a sawed off shotgun.

    What others should know:

This is really the only downside to this ... side arm... I say it like that because the safety system is easily turned off accidentally. The safety is a little button by the trigger. one direction is safe and the other, with the red stripe is fire ready. If you are right handed and hold the gun in a relax position with the safety on and your index finger off the trigger and pointing down the barrel of the gun; the joint of your index finger is right at the safety switch position. If your left hand holds your right hand it is difficult to NOT TAKE THE SAFETY OFF. .. It's just plain too easy to take the safety off and not realize it. I know some firearms don't even have safety's but that's how this one works so be careful.

    Things I liked:

There are a ton of good reviews out there. This one is only about the ability to function as a pistol. It truly is intended as a carbine.

    Things I would have changed:

Most people are right handed. As such the cocking bolt is on the wrong side. It is not balanced for weight. Leaks badly (not pyramid airs fault).

    What others should know:

You will want the shoulder stock. Its clear that this is intended as a carbine. Try using it like a pistol and you will understand quickly. For me if you are buying a carbine you may as well just get a rifle. A carbine has the low power of a pistol with extra length. All my opinion. Awesome gun. My only goal was to say there are better options if you truly want a pistol you shoot like a pistol.

    Things I liked:

Light, accurate, nice little pop, but not too loud.

    Things I would have changed:

Crossman Quality Assurance seems to be lacking. There is no way products should pass inspection with fill valves leaking gas around the threads at 300-500 PSI/Day

    What others should know:

Mine came with a leak at the fill valve threads. I elected to fix the leak on my own dime with some supplies purchased locally ($20 for Spray Bottle, PTFE Tape and Pipe dope). CSR Tyler of Pyramid Air thanked me for letting them know about the issue, and that I fixed it on my own dime, and issued me a ~$20 credit towards my next purchase. I know that these folks do the best they can to not let things like this slip by, but I also realize I purchased a mass produced item that would be totally cost prohibitive for Pyramid Air to open each box and Quality Assure when that's Crossman's duty. So, I'm happy with the purchase. The Marauder pistol is a tack driver. Pyramid Air listened and showed good faith by giving me that credit to spend. I'm not looking for perfection in the world we live in. That's a fools errand. Bottom Line: Thank you Pyramid Air for your good communication and for the $20 credit. I look forward to bringing you some more business in the future.

    Things I liked:

I LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU CAN CHANGE FROM A PISTOL TO A RIFLE. THE GUN HAS SUFFICIENT TO REACH TARGETS OUT TO OVER 100 YARDS WITH GREAT ACCURACY. SMALL LIGHT WEIGHT AND GOOD LOOKING PIECE OF EQUIPMENT FOR PLINKING SPINNERS OR HUNTING SMALL GAME.

    Things I would have changed:

WHEN IN CARBINE MODE, THE SKELETOL HANDLE ONLY HAS ONE HOLE HANDLE SCREWS ON BOTH SIDES, MAKES FOR A EASY SHAKEY MOVEMENT MAKING THE HOLD FEEL UNEASY. A SECOND SCREW EVENLY SPACED SHOULD DO THE TRICK.

    What others should know:

ALL IN ALL, IT IS MOST DEFINITELY A VERY FUN TO SHOOT, EASY TO LOAD MAGAZINE, LARGE SHOT COUNT, NICELY PRICED, DID I SAY FUN TO SHOOT> NOW WHAT I DID WAS PUT HOT GLUE ON THE HANDLE WHERE THE HANDLE MEETS THE GUN ITSELF. FOR A DEMONSTRATION.

    Things I liked:

The accuracy is great. 30 yard groups can easily be covered with a penny. Crosman premier pointed pellets shoot very well out of this gun along with the 15 gr JSBs. The trigger is also pretty good.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a large air tank on this gun. After two mags a refill is needed. I also think a better shroud with baffles would be beneficial. This gun is not quite like the marauder rifles.

    What others should know:

The first pistol I received was defective from the factory. The mag would not fit in the gun (believe this was a machining issue from the factory). This had NOTHING to do with Pyramyd Air. The gun was returned and a replacement was delivered promptly. Great customer service.

    Things I liked:

I really love this pistol. I have the rifle and needed something for close quarter short range. First off this is a very attractive piece from Benjamin. The first few break in shots were good. I pumped it up from 1.7 to 3.2 omg. Shot a few into a blackhole just to break it in. I decided to scope it. It will be a killer. I would like to try open sights with this pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

Considering cost and quality, I believe they have a home run.

    What others should know:

I just recommend that buyers are familiar with pcp before buying. (pre charged pneumatic) not the drug. You will most likely buy a tank if you don't already have one. Just a few things to watch.

    Things I liked:

This is my first PCP. It is easy to convert to a carbine configuration, either with the included stock or by purchasing an aftermarket AR stock. I have mounted the latter and an inexpensive red dot sight. So far, I am pleased with the accuracy. I use a MK5 Hill hand pump ( also purchased from Pyramid) to charge the Marauder and it takes between 40 and 50 strokes to go from 1,000 PSI to the maximum of 3,000 PSI.

    Things I would have changed:

A second included magazine would be nice. However, the magazines are not very expensive.

    What others should know:

I would like to leave a big positive shout out to Pyramid Air for its customer service. My first Marauder had a problem with the bolt. First, I called and spoke with a technician who was very helpful and gave me a few suggestions to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the problem persisted. I then requested an exchange which was processed quickly with zero hassle. My replacement pistol has been trouble free.

Compact, light, balanced, easy to modify and accurate. Throw on your favorite LDC and you have quiet back packer that will create havoc in the squirrel woods.

    Things I would have changed:

Do something about amount of effort to cook bolt.

    What others should know:

The amount of effort it takes to pull the bolt back to fully cock is ridiculous. I'm no light weight. Makes it really easy for people not used to the gun to think they have cocked the gun. Then when it doesn't fire, they recock the gun and double load pellets. Maybe I got a bad gun, but I'm not the only one with this complaint. Other bolt action guns I have take far less effort to cook. Gun is very unbalanced when you pick it up with the rear stock attached. No way to attach a sling, that's just a way to save a few manufacturing bucks, but a poor decision. Accuracy on power is great. Would be a 5 star buy for the money if a little more thought and a few more manufacturing dollars had been put into this gun before sending it into production

    Things I liked:

This is my first pcp. I grew up shooting a very nice FWB 124D and have several fine German springers that I still shoot today. I wanted a .22 pcp for hunting. I decided to buy this because of its lightweight nature and the availability of spare parts when needed. I like the carbine format. I have enjoyed shooting a Diana Chaser pistol carbine for the last year or so. It is fun but it lacks power with the pistol barrel. I wanted something more powerful but still lightweight and compact and this is it. And for the money, it is excellent. I don't think it will be hard to repair if a leak arises and am very satisfied with its accuracy with RWS SuperDomes so far. I haven't adjusted anything concerning the tune or trigger nor have I owned it very long, but I think it is great so far, especially 4 a pcp noob like me. It is also very, very easy to pump up with the Hill pump. No effort. The Hill pump with the dry air package comes with the correct fitting to pump this pcp up.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a single shot adapter. With the magazine in place and the bolt forward, you really never know if the chamber is truly empty with the magazine in place (a mistake can be made) . I prefer to remove the magazine from the gun for storage and ensure the chamber and barrel are clear. Also keep it on "safe" and pay attention to where you or your friends are pointing the muzzle....... like any gun, but a pistol or carbine muzzle (with its shorter overall length) can be turned toward you by a child or friend within a shorter proximity and with its light trigger.........Just a friendly safety reminder. I did add one thin layer of pipe insulation to the stock for cheek weld comfort as I did with the Diana chaser. It works great and is simple.

    What others should know:

I know that many have expressed issues with the carbine stock, but i haven't experienced any. I am short and even so the LOP isn't too long. I would enjoy an inch shorter LOP more, but it is fine. Issues with the drop of comb and cheek/chin weld have also been mentioned. I was able to use the Sportsmatch low single screw mounts LTO30 with a Hawke Vantage 4X32 with AO. The magazine clicks into place just fine and this keeps your head lower. Everything comes up naturally and points great as if you were shooting an MP5 with an erect head and neck on a swivel. I had the same mounts and scope on the Diana Chaser and decided to try them on the PROD before ordering anything different. Some scopes have larger turret bodies and different eye reliefs and would likely need the medium mounts. A red dot could easily be used and kept lower to the bore as well with the appropriate mounts. Keep your scope as low as possible and you will be OK.

    Things I liked:

It's entry level but not lower quality. This is the perfect introduction to the PCP world for me; made-to-last, wicked accurate, and all my friends now want one. Plus, there are tons of accessories to make it adaptable to your preferences. I also purchased a hand pump and this doesn't take long to pump-you-up! I'm easily getting four or five 8-round magazines before even thinking of topping it up. Still impressed on how accurate this pistol is. Well worth the investment.

    Things I would have changed:

Change? The only way to make this PCP airgun better is to make it semi-auto.

    What others should know:

Buy with confidence from PyramydAir. They've been around a long time and have earned a great reputation - that's why I selected them for my first PCP purchase. $400 isn't a lot of money to many people, but it's a small fortune to me. Make your dollars count.

Got this yesterday and it's my first pcp. Put it all together last night and added a Walther 4x32 scope I had. Took it outside this morning and paced off about 25 yards. Nickel sized groups right out of the box. This carbine is lite and solid. I'm really enjoying this.

    Things I would have changed:

I really wouldn't change anything. Very solid and well made. Fit and finish is very good. Trigger pull is excellent.

    What others should know:

I'm just a hobbyist. My other rifle is a Air venturi tr5. ,177 (which I also like). The Marauder is alot more comfortable to shoot. Alot more powerful. I don't have any of the problems I've read others are having as far as scope alignment with the stock. Very comfortable and doesn't feel loose at all. I will be getting a better scope.

Everything. Works well for pest and backyard shooting. I added a DonnyFL, and it is even more quite. I shoot inside my house too. Not to loud. I have gone through at least 3,000 pellets. Needed to change one o-ring. Mine loves JSB from 15 grain to 18 grain pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    Add open sights to it.

    What others should know:

Extremely fun, and can be used with a air pump if you can handle the exercise!! Buy more clips. I have 4 clips to play with, after the 4 clips it is time for a air top off. Great beginner gun to PCP, or just a great addition for indoor shooting or small pest control.

Great compact little PCP. This is my first so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Very accurate so far with the testing I have done.

    Things I would have changed:

It's loud, the description says it's quiet but I disagree. It's fairly loud versus something like a 1377. The magazine that came with it was not functional. It was assembled incorrectly and it could not be fixed without taking out the center screw and realigning the spring. Not too hard but unacceptable for something brand new that costs as much as this does IMHO. This seems to be a benjamin/crosman problem though. I ordered two additional magazines from a different site and one of them came improperly assembled as well. The tiny springs inside are a bit of a pain but overall it wasn't that hard to fix.

    Things I liked:

I was finally able to shoot my Marauder pistol with the UTG Micro Red Dot, ( UTG red dot not available at PA). Awesome, lightweight, accurate, and very repeatable! I had originally wanted a pistol with iron sights, the Diana Bandit. But the order was taking too long so I cancelled that order and changed to the Marauder pistol. This change required additional purchases. Big Thanks to BB's blog, I chose the UTG Micro Red dot with the side loading battery. This is the only reason why I lowered the value to 4 stars. All in all, I am glad I switched to the Marauder!

    Things I would have changed:

When I installed the supplied stock is was a little loose, even with both grip screws as tight as I dared. I ended up folding some heavy duty Aluminum foil to take up some of the gap between the stock and the grip frame. This took several attempts to get the thickness correct. I had originally wanted a pistol with iron sights but the Diana Bandit that I wanted was taking too long so I cancelled that order and changed to the Marauder pistol. This change required additional purchases. Big Thanks to BB's blog, I chose the UTG Micro Red dot with the side loading battery. This is the only reason why I lowered the value to 4 stars.

    What others should know:

When the pistol arrived "THE SAFETY WAS OFF" !? Be sure to check the safety each and every time you pick up your airgun!
