Things I liked:

This gun is crazy accurate, it is by far the best gun i have. it is my the First pcp gun, I like everything about it.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

What others should know:

The air pump that i bought along with the gun is only for the young, it is a good pump, But not for the young or the elderly. The money it cost for the pump, for a little more money I could have bought a scuba tank and adapter. Witch I did. It will make the gun a lot more enjoyable.

Things I liked:

quiet

Things I would have changed:

valve system functions poorly above 2500 psi, seriously underpowered below 2000 psi, cheap materials thoughtless design and poor construction continually bring Marauder back to the repair table, poorly balanced and difficult to carry

What others should know:

very disappointed mislead by the 5 star rating and sales pitch, unable to activate star rating system 1 star, 1 star, 2 star

    Things I liked:

    excellent light little plinker

    Things I would have changed:

make the stock fit so you can see through the scope it was a lot louder than I expected.

    What others should know:

after shooting approx. 400 rounds [which grouped great at 20 and 25 yards],I had to send it back to crosman because it would not hold air more than 3 days.

    Things I liked:

Compact, light weight. Very easy to charge with a pump. Comes with a shoulder stock. With a 3000 lb fill I got six magazines worth of shooting with no change in POI. Starting fill 3000 lbs ending charge 2300lbs. Target is at 25 yards. Ammo used, Beeman Kodiak. Accuracy, six shots in a group just under a quarter at 25 yards shooting free hand. The gun will group better than this. Fault is with the shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I'm using a Leapers 3-12 compact scope. Use the UTG 30mm MEDIUM mounts. Not the high mounts that was supplied to Tom from Crosman. The MEDIUM mounts will clear the barrel by 1/8 inch and will clear the magazine by a 1/16. Just perfect.

    Things I liked:

I really like the Marauder pistol overall. The rotary magazine feeds any pellet I have used perfectly. The trigger is as good as any of my 1911 race guns. I have never used my Marauder in the pistol configuration. I attached the included shoulder stock before I fired the first shot. The Marauder is very manageable as a carbine. It is massive as a pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

I would make the shoulder stock with a two inch shorter pull, the pull was entirely too long for me. I cut two inches off the stock and added a sticky rubber butt pad, now it is close to perfection for me. Last, please make the Marauder pistol in .17 caliber, I would much rather have a 900fps .17 caliber than a 700fps .22 caliber. I also like the .17 caliber when its time to buy pellets.

    What others should know:

The Benjamin Marauder is a thinking mans pistol. If you do not pay attention, you can load the pellets backwards in the magazine it will not feed, you can double feed a pellet very easily, spoiling an important shot. This is not a beginners airgun. I rairly use my scuba tank, buy a good high pressure pump. Its good exercise. Thanks, Sparky

    Things I liked:

Very accurate, well made, holds around 80 shots on a fill, not too hard to fill with a hand pump. The rifle stock that comes with it is excellent and very useful. For those of you that are interested in tweaking the gun its actually really easy to do. You can tweak 2 different settings on the gun (hammer throw length and something else). I've never done it, but if I found someone to go airsofting with I would definitely play around with it so I could convert it into a beastly little airsoft gun!

    Things I would have changed:

Its hard to call this gun a pistol. While technically yes it is, in actuality it really isn't. Its way too long to be used as a real pistol. You can't really conceal it easily and when trying to fire it like a pistol its really hard to fire accurately because its so long. But I suppose if they were to make it shorter it would lose a lot of its accuracy.

    What others should know:

I use it with the rifle stock attachment on it all the time. When I first bought the gun I bought it with a package that included a pistol scope. I didn't realize that the eye relief on pistol scopes is so large! I ended up having to buy a rifle scope. Why would you ever buy a pistol scope when you can just buy iron sights!? Who is actually sniping with a pistol scope!? My gun, as a result, is actually a carbine since I always keep the stock on and I have a mounted, sighted rifle scope on it. Sure I COULD go to the trouble of taking all my attachments off but why? Also I would then have to resight my scope. Without any attachments I think it looks a lot closer to a shotgun then a pistol.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful, accurate, solidly constructed, and powerful. Beeman Kodiak's transform into little lead parachutes after striking cinder blocks at 25 yards. Quiet, too.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a second to every order -- for free. I'm not going to get much time with this gun once my friends get their hands on it.

    What others should know:

Hammer spring was not adjusted for a full 3,000 psi fill when mine arrived; I experienced a partial valve lock when I initially filled to 3,000 psi, and (at the advice of the excellent Pyramyd service desk) had to dry-fire it down to 2,600 psi and try again. Worked perfectly at that fill level, and I can always adjust the hammer spring for higher fills. Also, one of the two magazines was defective -- stops feeding at pellet #6. Pyramyd will take care of this, of course, but order the single shot tray ... good to have as back-up.

    Things I liked:

The day the package arrived at my door before I opened the box.

    Things I would have changed:

Complete disappointment. The barrel was crooked to the extent that the barrel was pressed flush up against the one side of the barrel band leaving the other side of the barrel with a large gap between it and the barrel band. The two allen screws directly above the handle were rusting. I don't mean a little oxidation, I mean I had just opened a brand new BENJAMIN airgun to find pieces already rusting. Last but not least, every single allen screw on the gun holding it together was stripped to the point where to this day I don't know for sure if they were allen screws or strange screws with circular divots taken from them leaving what appeared to be the tip of a crosman HP pellet. I can't explain it other than the screws are stripped on purpose to prevent modification or some chinese worker was bored and stripped every screw.

    What others should know:

This was my particular experience with this gun. I'm particularly bitter because I was so excited to get it. I must add PyramidAir sent me a prepaid packing slip to print out so I could return the gun and were very understanding and helpful. If your gonna get a lemon, make sure you can rely on the company you bought it from. Before buying this gun, get a 10 for 10 done.

    Things I liked:

I like the look and feel, overall quality, trademarks and ease of use. I am highly impressed by the accuracy and power. Also this gun is my first PCP and I can say I definitely made the right choice here. After a brief review of scope parts and terminology at Airgun Academy, I fitted my UTG Bug Buster 6x32 scope with illuminated reticul and eeked out some very accurate shot at 10 yards. A learning experience for sure. And a learning curve, no doubt. If you have a soft target, don't let the quietness fool you, those pellets are screaming out. Try a small coffee can with a thick phonebook behind it, you will hear the THWACK the instant you squeeze the sweet trigger on this baby. Adjustable hammer spring tension and hammer position is a perfect idea. I will be discovering more about that in the weeks to come. I like the Beeman Silver Arrows at the top of the fill. Can't wait to take a shot with those Crow Mags either. The Copper plated Kodiaks are suh weet! Right around 2650 p.s.i. This gun is a hole in one, literally. Tack hammer. The ingenious rotary clips allow for smooth repetition and easy counting of shots. This thing is a gem. The pump is much less effort overall than I thought it'd be.

    Things I would have changed:

    What's not to like?

    What others should know:

These won't be around forever I bet. when charging, release air through the bleeder valve quickly and you won't lose as much from the pistol. The pressure gauge on both the pump and the pistol make it easy to see where I'm at. If you're looking for a big BANG out the barrel you won't get it. The BANG for your buck is when your projectile hits it's intended target nanoseconds after you squeeze the trigger.

    Things I liked:

I love the concept but not much else. The first pistol came with the receiver so severly canted that I returned it unfired. The 2nd pistol was very inaccurate.Group sizes of 1 1/2" at 25 yds and almost every group having a flier out to 2" or more.I tried a large variety of pellets and even different scopes but same results. The shoulder stock would not tighten properly.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality control at the factory. This gun would be a real fun gun to own if it was accurate.Say 1" five shot groups at 30yds out of the box. Offer other calibers.

    What others should know:

I hesitated to send this review because I like Crossman products. I own several Crossman pistols and a .17 and .25 Marauder that I purchased from Pyramid and am very satisfied with them.I don't want to discourage anyone from buying Crossman products and Pyramid handled my returns and exchanges very promptly and courtesly.I think Crossman needs to work the bugs out of the Marauder pistol and it would be a great product.

Light, compact, accurate, affordable, easy to fill/charge.. What's not to like.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice to offer some sort of fixed sights. This pistol is scope only.

    What others should know:

A reflex-red dot sight works very well on this pistol and maintains the light and cool 007 look. I have a .22 Mag 800 Browning, a FWB 300S and a Benjamin Marauder .25 and this little guy is probably my favorite gun to shoot because it is so light and accurate and blows holes through both sides of spray paint cans at 20 yards and is quiet and.. and.. etc. If I had bought this pistol 1st I wouldn't own as many air guns (maybe..)

    Things I liked:

I like the compact size, modular design and features. Although each shot uses a lot of air volume, the valving allows accurate shooting to a low bar level. I like the fact that it is made by a U.S. company too.

    Things I would have changed:

The shoulder stock on mine did not fit tightly, so I had to shim it up a little. I also would prefer to have a shroud baffle or 2 to quiet it down a little more. There are aftermarket shrouds available. The air diffuser at the end of the barrel works, but is not optimal. It needs a single shot adapter too.

    What others should know:

I ended up having Crosman replace my barrel due to an accuracy problem. The new barrel is fine. I modified mine slightly because I could not dial in accuracy well enough. I bumped up the power so that I am getting about 705 fps with JSB 15.9 grain pellets. As a result, I have been able to get 5 shot groups at 15 yards with a 0.2 inch spread. Mine shoots best from a 2650 psi start level. It shoots much more accurately if you fire single shot without the magazine. Also, accuracy is best with pellet head diameters of around .2170 to .2175 inch

    Things I liked:

Lightweight, great shot count, reasonably quiet, carbine stock included too, 8 shot magazine that will cycle Predator pellets, ACCURATE, Fun, powerful. Great trigger, adjustable.

    Things I would have changed:

Mine came with a STIFF BOLT out of the box, after 500 shots, it still requires my thumb on the back of the air tube to free it from the locked position. Go with a screw on metal dust cover for the foster quick fill connector like on the Marauder rifle instead of the plastic snap on style of the Discovery rifle.

    What others should know:

My first magzine over my chrony had a standard deviation of less than 2 fps, very consistant, and reliable speeds for an unregulated valve. So light you can shoot it offhand all day. Very accurate out to 30 yards. Beeman FTS 14.66g and Predators do very well in it

For a pistol, good power and accuracy, light weight, better than expected shoot count. Mine set to hammer spring 6 and hammer throw 1, seem to work well.

    Things I would have changed:

Adjustable or expandable stock, open sights to attach to scope rail

    What others should know:

This pistol is much louder than its rifle version.

    Things I liked:

Very good buy for the money. Light, accurate, and pretty quiet as well.

    Things I would have changed:

Minor quibbles. The magazines work fine, I ordered two more. Would be happier if Crosman offered metal magazines, just for the security of the durability inherent with metal rather than plastic .

    What others should know:

The pistol cries out for a folding stock. A folding thick wire stock would be fine, or even a detachable plastic stock. Based on the Pyramyd blog, I purchased four tins of Beeman Kodiak's along with the pistol. Proving the adage that every airgun has a preference for a pellet, I could not get a reasonable group at 25 yards. After trying four other brands, I ended up with Premier Hollowpoints. ( I believe I contributed in assisting Pyramyd avoid the worst of the recession by ordering 4, 8 or 12 tins of pellets of various brands fairly frequently). Group size shrunk from 1 1/2 to 2 inches down to one ragged 1/2 in. hole at 25 yds. Same conditions, bench rest, indoors. I mounted a Center Point 3-12X44 scope. Seems to work just fine with medium rings. Can't wait for the snow to melt and the woodchucks to start marauding around my backyard, digging up my wife's expensive bulbs.

    Things I would have changed:

quieter. wood stock and handle. for the amount of metal and plastic. should be much cheaper then marauder rifle.

    What others should know:

fill cap should be screw on like marauder rifle, not clip on that can fall off.

    Things I liked:

I think the whole design concept for the Marauder pistol is brilliant. The fit and finish on MP (Marauder Pistol) is very nice for this price range aigun. The magazine fed bolt action will spoil a springer single shot person. From the factory my MP trigger breaks crisply at 2.24 lb. average by my Lyman digital trigger scale. The "Fun Factor" counts for a lot , I give the MP an 8 on a 1 to 10 fun scale. Overall it is a steal or $390.00. Thanks, Sparky

    Things I would have changed:

First, I would make the MP in .17 caliber along with the .22 caliber. I own at least ten .22 caliber air rifles and six air pistols in .22. I shoot my .17 caliber guns nintey percent of the time. I buy bulk lots of good .22 long rifle for half of what I pay for premium .22 caliber pellets. I would rather shoot a ten grain .17 caliber pellet at 900fps than a fifteen grain .22 calber pellet at 700fps. There is no comparison in the flatness of the trajectories between the two, or accuracy for that matter. Second, I would shorten the pull on the shoulder stock to around 14" from the extemeley long 15 15/16", which makes this gun awkward for me to shoulder and attain a reasonable sight picture. Third, Why not build a quality folding stock that locks up tightly? A person would then be able to carry their MP in a computer case, that would be cool. Fourth , I would make sure every MP was assembled to the factory blueprint specifications before it left the factory. The barrel band on my MP is not centered on the barrel (like my Marauder rifle) contacting the barrel slightly and the my trigger drags enough to not allow the first stage trigger pull to return to its place if released. If these things were changed. I think the MP would be a lot closer to world class. The Crosman Benjamin MP is not quite their yet, at least in my opinion. Thanks, Sparky

The pistol is not that loud less noise then a Crosman 2240 The 8 shot mag holds poly mags & eun jin pellets. POWERFUL My pistol is tuned to 25 foot pounds & shooting raptors out at 985 FPS

    Things I would have changed:

The stock & saffty! The stock feels really cheap & hollow. Crosman will not give me a clear anser about the materal used in making the stock. They keep giving me the run a rounds. Like they were telling people it would be polymer then changed to plastic & did not tell anyone. It is posted at many websites it is made of polymer. For a $400.00 pistol the saffty should be made out of metal.

    What others should know:

The pistol is much lighter then it looks & inch shorter then my custom 2240 with 12 inch barrel & 4inch brake. Do not use Gamo lead pellets or lead free in this pistol as they fly all over. Although I always felt if the raptors were made heavy they might be a usful pellet. The gun loves good old crosman pellets, Eun Jin .22 Cal, 28.4 Grains, Domed, H&N Baracuda, Poly Mags, Beeman Crow Magnum .22 Cal, -This pellet is great out of this pisol but you will have to fire it in single shot the Skenco Heavy Long-Range .22 Cal-
