Things I liked:

QUICK, before this bundled offer with the 4x16x40 Adventure Class scope and the sling expires, BUY THIS .22cal. GUN !! This scope is better than 4x16x56 Leapers and the Hawke 3x9x40 AO HD scopes I have on my AA TX 200 MK III and my MRod .22 and my Titans in .177 & .22 cal. The gun is light, QUIET (a 2 for sure and an unrecognizable THUNK , nothing to get the neighbors attention!), 5/8" c-to-c @ 25 yards out of the box, has a long first stage that can be easily shortened, has a "Clean Break Trigger" at an easy 4 lb. pull that is as smooth as the TX200 just a slightly different feel, is clearly at least 10 lbs. lighter to cock , chrony's RWS Hobby's 11.9 gr @ 910-960 fps w/o break -in or cleaning the barrel that is 150 fps faster than the Titan NP in .22 cal., is not very hold sensitive but balances well just in front of the trigger guard, and it as a combo with the 4x16x40 C-P Adv. Cl scope for $249 is THE BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY IN THE PRICE RANGE YOU CAN FIND! Return if don't agree!

Things I would have changed:

Change the plastic tapered piece at the breech end of the shroud for an aluminum piece or make it available if someone has a cracked piece. Certainly not a big deal or a deal breaker !! After all, you are getting a true hunter for less than $200 in this package. Don't change the CBT trigger, it is a great trigger! Just let people know that they should pause at the end of the first stage at the hesitation point, then let the trigger off lightly without jerking the scope off the target !! When shot correctly, this is truly a great gun and a great buy, especially in this bundle!!

What others should know:

Shooting this gun takes a little practice like any magnum powered pellet gun but the NP2 piston and the shroud make this a neighbor friendly power house! I like the TX200 MK III and both Titan NPs and the .22 cal. Marauder but this is now my "go -to" back yard hunter/target practice gun. You get to develop your shooting skills using this gun, unlike the MRod which is a point and shoot no brainer type gun, very accurate but easy to shoot well. My gun likes the Baracuda Hunter Extremes but is not very pellet sensitive and shoots the Crosman pellets well -hollow points & round nose 14.3 grains. I will chrony these and a variety of JSB's, H & N's, Beeman's, etc soon. Don't believe the nay-sayers about this gun ! It is great and buy it from Pyramyd Air who is the only one that has this combo on special for a few more days!!! Get the 20 for 20 for a little USA quality control if you are concerned but it is assembled in the USA!! Better hurry! Thanks Pyramyd Air !!!!

Things I liked:

It's quiet

Things I would have changed:

Barrel. Most quality air rifles have a choked barrel. This one does not. Accuracy stinks. The shroud and baffel are cheap. Have to remove them to clean the barrel.

What others should know:

22 calibe gun. I shot the requisit number of time to have broken in this barrel as per instructions. I got 1 1/2 - 2 inch 5 shot groups @ 30 yards the whole time. I cleaned the barrel which was filthy. I shot 5 shot groups with Crossman Premier hollow points, H & N Baracudas, 4 different JSB pellets in their sample pack and accuracy did not imporove. The rifle tends to shoot the first pellet from a cold gun 2-3 inches higher than the rest of the group. The rest of the group not counting the high shot is lousy. I tried hunting squirrels with it. Lost three out of 5 from wounding. The accuracy was NO WHERE NEAR the review video on the web site by the Cappela dude. I am waiting for authorization from Pyramid Air to return this "rifle" for a refund.

For the money I don't think the NP2 can be beat. I currently have four air rifles and I like this one the best. A little trigger work does wonders, power is good and since I've painted it looks good.

    Things I would have changed:

Install a better trigger and iron sights.

    What others should know:

    Good buy for the price.

    Things I liked:

Powerful air rifle, scope cannot never stay zero after 10 shots. Group shots move to different area when using same crosman premier hollow point pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer better scope, this scope is useless with the price on this air rifle bundle.

    What others should know:

So far this crosman trail NP2 does put out decent power, scope is junk, I never can keep the scope zero after 10 shot or so. Group start to move to different area. Not value for $230 bundle. I will claim for return when I have time.

I like the power of it in 22

    Things I would have changed:

Well, first of all ,the trigger sucks, its to heavy to be accurate, it doesnt break clean, the adjustment screw is only for lenght of pull, i like the trigger on my trail np, by removing one spring and replacing the roller with an rc bearing, its perfect !! A good trigger !!!! The stock is light and hollow. the grip angle is not comfortable. the finish on metal parts should be a lot better. to many plastic parts !!!!

    What others should know:

Other than the newer nitro piston tecnology my benjamin trail np is the cats meow, Its solid, better made, finish on metal is way better! and after a simple trigger fix, and a good scope, I still hit bullseyes ,over a year now and around 4000 rounds !!!!!!

    Things I liked:

Bought this as a package deal but it came without the sling. One phone to Pyramydair and it came two days later. Nice gun, great scope compared to the one that came on my Ruger Blackhawk. Have only shot about 250 pellets through the gun so far but I like it.

    Things I would have changed:

Not Pyramydair's fault but the gun has the usual airgun trigger. Build better triggers.

    What others should know:

All in all a good buy, I'd do it again.

    Things I liked:

I found the rifle to be as described in the ad and the upgrades to be great. Set up was easy mounting the scope; dialing it in was simple with the Center Point scope. Easy cocking with the thick barrel. One hole groups with the occasional fliers. Just getting use to it. I'm impressed so far.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger system could use improvement or upgrade to target grade trigger to make this, one helluva shooting bargain gas piston rifle

    What others should know:

Buy it, you'll ike shooting it.

I love the accuracy and knockdown power of this rifle. I like the the pistol grip and all around feel of this rifle. I ordered mine in 22 caliber and plenty of power. I have taken squirrel at 36 yards no problem. Knock down metal silhouette targets at 45 yards, spent shotgun shells at 50.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

a great value for the money. I use the Crosman Premier Hollow Points with great success with this rifle.

    Things I liked:

Wanted a pellet gun that was quiet and would shoot accurately for small critters and target shooting. This gun seems to be outstanding and meets or exceeds my goals for an ideal, reasonable priced air rifle. I especially liked the combined package I got including the pellet feeder (first time I have used).

    Things I would have changed:

The gun comes with an adjustable trigger. As I get used to pull, I may make some changes, but for now it shoots straighter than the shooter so it might just be technique that needs to be improved.

    What others should know:

I compared to my other air rifles and it does seem quieter which they say will get even better the more it is fired. The included scope is the best I have ever used and makes shooting even more fun.

    Things I liked:

Very consistent 2" group at 25 yard. Love the dual stage trigger. Fairly quiet gun. Slightly easier to cock the break barrel than the Gamo I also own. Decent scope easy to mount and adjust. This gun is so powerful and the bullet is so fast it stays pretty true vertically from 20 to 60 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Gun is kind of heavy. Be sure to clean the inside of the barrel before first use. Also unscrew the shroud with the silencer when doing this otherwise you might lose your piece of cloth in the silencer. (I did this duh ).

    What others should know:

I am not an expert but once you get used to the 2 stage trigger and you go back to a single stage trigger on the other gun you might accidentally pop one off. It's a basic rule not to ever put your finger on the trigger until ready to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

Accurate, quiet, easy to cock, but for hunting it's a little on the heavy side. However it does come with a sling.

    Things I liked:

The triger is very crisp after about 250 shots, the scope was pretty decent for one that came with the gun, it's quiet, and accurate (I was able to get 5" groups with crosman premier domed pellets and 3" groups with predator poly mags both at 50 yards).

    Things I would have changed:

I would add iron sights of some sort, add a scope with a mil dot reticle, make the trigger a little bit lighter, and round off the sharp edges of the stock.

    What others should know:

I got the 22 cal model and I love it the triger was a little gritty at first but I shot about 250 pellets and it smoothed out nicely it seems to be a great gun for backyard plinking and pest control.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Relatively easy to cock compared to other air rifles. Probably due to the long barrel giving more leverage. My package came with the AO scope which is not bad, but a little heavy. Really wish it was mildot! Trigger adjustment is pretty decent and the stock is comfortable. Wish I bought the "wood" stock but it was not available with the upgraded scope. It's ok. The plastic won't show scratches, and the "wood" is likely some pressboard stuff. At first I did not like the safety, but after some use, it turns out I do like it. Buttpad is good and the shape of the stock allows for a good cheek weld. Came with a strap which I may use when I go rat and squirrel hunting in the fields.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic barrel shroud needs correcting. It can and will rotate in your hand when you cock the rifle. You can't tighten too much for fear of cracking or stripping it. Benjamin needs to find a solution for that, and even offer it aftermarket. That is a poor design. I'd love it if it had iron sights, something the Hatsan 95 has and I think would be great. Plastic molded stock did have a couple of sharp edge which I filed down.

    What others should know:

This rifle is accurate and lots of fun to shoot. It is relatively quiet, but not silent. It does make a thunk when the gas discharges. I have been told it will quiet down some more after 500+ pellets. The rifle is heavy and weighted more to the front, so it will take some practice to find your hold and keep it on target. It does have more recoil than I was expecting. It is not bad, but it is more than a .223. If you have not used a break barrel before, you will need to be careful when you cock it. Your first time, you might think the rifle is cocked and let go of the barrel, only to have it come flying back and possible taking a hunk of meat out of your hand. This did not happen to me, but be careful until you are familiar with the operation.

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

The noise level is reasonably quiet... quiet enough to shoot a pellet trap in my basement or to do some plinking in my suburban backyard. It is reasonable accurate when shot from shooting sticks or a rest. Cocking effort is not bad at all and very smooth. The combo with the AO scope is a nice touch. I usually shoot at 25 yards or less, so it's very nice being able to focus in close. The scope holds zero and seems like a good match for the quality of the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

My particular gun has very noticeable barrel droop that you can easily see when looking down the stock; I had to shim the scope in order to get it sighted in. This thing is heavy and the balance point is very far forward, making it difficult and tiring to shoot off-hand. The stock has some sharp edges along the cocking slot in the forend.

    What others should know:

This is a decent first airgun to see if you like the hobby, but I've owned it for less than a year and I am already thinking about getting something lighter, better balanced, and more aesthetically pleasing.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

For the money this is an excellent gun. I would buy another one without hesitation. It is very suburban friendly and accurate right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the scope a UTG and raise the price of the combo as needed or simply sale the gun without a scope.

    What others should know:

The included CenterPoint scope quit holding zero after about 500 pellets. The CenterPoint is a pretty good scope for a combo package. Just not quite good enough to handle heavy use in a magnum gas gun.
