    Things I liked:

#1-cocking effort-excellent for gas piston. #2-center point scope very good. #3-my smaller hands make hand grip just perfect some say to small just right for me. #4-sound level of gun good (do not have to wear protective ear gear)

    Things I would have changed:

short info from benjamin on the oiling of the gas piston chamber and i would have liked an extra O-ring shipped with gun and would have liked to know where to get a replacement ring locally. does pyramydair supply this for a ben np2 .177 air gun.

    What others should know:

this would be an excellent air gun for someone with a teenage boy or girl because of the lower cocking effort for a gas piston rifle. Need to carefully view various youtube videos on how to properly mount center point scope and follow it. i did and scope has never come loose or the rail mount screws. highly recommend the locktite blue to hold in the screws and rail nuts. USE HIGH QUALITY PELLETS STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPER PELLETS.

    Things I liked:

The rifle is nice looking to start with. It has the power to do the job I bought it for. The thumb hole stock is nice too. I can hold the rifle very easily and it makes the gun look good too. I'm left handed and I have no problem shooting it at all. Some rifls are not as easy to shoot for left handed people. The barrel is smooth and easy to break over. loading the pellet into the barrel is fast. All in all It's a fine rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is hard to pull when shooting. It is a long and a little hard pull. Holding the sight picture is not easy while waiting for the gun to fire. The trigger adjustment is nice but does nothing for the pull. That needs to be fixed. While shooting the screw that holds the shock on by the barrel break came out. I had to tighten it. So other than the hard trigger pull I'm happy.

    What others should know:

I would buy this rifle again. It's not for small Children though. The gun feels like a real hunting rifle. Also I want to say I have enjoyed shopping with Pyramyd Air. They had what I wanted in stock and shopping was fast. No hassles at all. I will use them again. Iim

Smooth shot, comfortable, very accurate, quiet, solid build. I also have a Gamo but this is by far my favourite

    Things I would have changed:

A little heavier than some, but manageable

    Things I liked:

USA made Easy to cock! powerful and accurate. Its light weight compared to my RWS 34 and my teenage son can handle it alot easier. The Trail looks good.

    Things I would have changed:

A better manual would be nice. It would show a little more effort than a generic overall break barrel manual.

    What others should know:

When I first received the gun the Center point scopes cross hairs were jacked.. I mounted it any way and after some shooting the cross hairs straightened up..... I couldn't get a group to save my life. I then ordered a Hawke 3x9x40 ao and the Trail Np2 became a real tack driver...Very pleased now and ready to hunt!

when i received my first np2 i shot 5 shots and it broke had to send it back but after 2 long weeks got a new airgun and it is pretty accurate and silent very back yard friendly so all in all i was pretty mad that i got a lemon but the gun shows potential and very happy i bought this np2

    Things I liked:

After finding the right pellet (gamo rocket in my case) I have been piling them on top of one another. Great accuracy, nice scope, and the pellets hit with enough power that any small game is pretty much done for. Also the scope is much nicer than I had imagined it would be for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The "cracked shroud" that people complain about on NP2s effects a small plastic cone at the base of the shroud. It seems like they could have avoided this by just making it out of some sort of metal or carbon fiber. This seems to be mainly cosmetic so it's nothing really to worry about.

    What others should know:

Great combo for the price. One thing to note:when shooting I found that a very tight grip was key for accuracy even when benching. That may just be me, but I have read other reviews that have stated the same with this gun.

Love this gun.20 min to sight in scope at 35 yards. Nice grouping with crosman premier hollow point. .22 cal great combo package. Worth buying. Some of the complaints I've read in sum other reviews are just silly. Sounds like they don't no what there doing? I own many rifles and pistols. Thanks pyramid air!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Great rifle for the money

    What others should know:

Mil dot scope works great with this gun. Great package

    Things I liked:

I've had the gun for about a month. I bought it to take care of chipmunks destroying my backyard. This is my first aigun so not much to compare it with. But honestly I'm very surprised at the great value here. The quality is much better than I thought it would be; The trigger is pretty good and getting better as I break it in (and I'm a trigger snob), it looks really bad ass, and the accuracy is excellent. To top it off the scope is pretty nice..........all for $250.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the design on the surpressor. When you grip the barrell to cock it, the surpressor rotates and unscrews itself.

    What others should know:

The accuracy is phenominal. The first thing I did was clean the barrel really well. Then I randomly fired 10-15 shots just to warm the barrel and start the break in process, then I cleaned it again and mounted the scope. I mounted a target 15 yards away and started to sight it in. I had 3 shots touching each other on the X ring after 11 shots. Right after that my daughter, who has never fired an air rifle shot a 3 round group that covered mine. The next day we moved the targets out to 35 yards. We fired a few rounds and corrected for windage and elevation and have been consistently shooting sub 1" groups. I've pictures to prove it. I have about 200 rounds through it. I see a lot of people complaining about the accuracy, but I think if you treat the break in like you would on a center fire tack driver you have a better chance of getting tight groups. If I were a chipmunk in my backyard this summer I'd be very afraid.

    Things I liked:

Having been burned with a break barrel spring-er before, which I call my POS door stop now. It will be my little brothers birthday gift, hahahah. I was very nervous and concerned about getting another air rifle. I've had excellent luck and service with an old, old Crossman and that was the deal maker on this rifle. The overall quality is very good. I have about 300 pellets through it. At 15 yards indoors this gun drives tacks. 5 for 5 essentially the same hole. 10 for 10 less than a dime. I let one of the off duty range officers shoot it and all he said was wow, more kick than he expected, but wow, right on. This is the 22 version and I am shooting the JSB Match Exact Jumbo Heavy Diabolo.

    Things I would have changed:

Change? I did get the upgraded scope. Trigger, no. Plastic cone on the rear of the barrel, no. 300 rounds is really not enough shooting to be making any suggestions. So, bottom line at this point, I would not change anything.

    What others should know:

The rifle arrived in very good packaging condition. However, the barrel was very dirty with what I would guess is manufacturing oils. I did a cleaning before I took it to the range. Like anything new, it took me a few rounds to catch on to the rifle and getting the scope zeroed in.

    Things I liked:

I like the synthetic in .22. I like the ergonomic thumbhole stock. The scope it comes with in the package is actually really, really good. It's relatively quiet and accurate

    Things I would have changed:

I would definitely use another type of connector for the barrel. Mine rotates and doesn't seem to get completely tight. I don't think this warrants a return but I like the design of the NP Trail, synthetic thumbhole that I already own in .177.

    What others should know:

Think about how much your paying for a gun and scope. If you collect air guns or this is your first one, you must jump on this deal right away! The scope itself is $100 so you're essentially getting the gun for $150 or so. I can't be too picky because my RWS and Air Arms cost over $500 and I would hold them to a much higher standard of quality! Buy this package!

Great starting air rifle. I found RWS Superdome shoot very well.

    Things I liked:

The synthetic stock feels very solid and comfortable. Cocking the break barrel is easy and with a smooth rigid action, while locking back into shooting position. I like shooting this rifle but need more time to tighten my groups. The combo with the CP 4-16x40mm Mil-Dot scope is a super value deal. The .22cal Benjamin Trail NP2 rifle, scope upgrade and sling combo meets my expectations!

    Things I would have changed:

Add a user's guide for the scope.

    Things I liked:

Good quality for an inexpensive rifle. Cocking is very smooth and positive. It's very solidly built, no rattling or loose bits. I like the rail for the scope. The 4X16X40 Center Point scope is excellent. As good as scopes costing much more.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a better manual, even if I had to buy it as an "after purchase" item. Because I'm new to air rifles (after a 50 year hiatus), I had many questions that I had to hunt around for answers. Fortunately, there are many informative websites.

    What others should know:

Spend some time learning about the scope...the terminology, how things work together, how to make the initial fittings, and how to sight it in. Things get loose pretty quickly, so tighten or check all the screws and fittings every time. Some locktite would be in order, once you are happy with how things fit.

    Things I liked:

Comfy to hold and seems to shoot straight with crossman premium domed pellets, the thing that was most liked after all that was that the scope was sighted in when I installed it on the gun? Never had that happen before on any scope?!?!

    Things I would have changed:

Open sights would be very nice

    What others should know:

Seems like a good squirrel gun! And with the scope deal you can't go wrong with this one!

    Things I liked:

QUICK, before this bundled offer with the 4x16x40 Adventure Class scope and the sling expires, BUY THIS .22cal. GUN !! This scope is better than 4x16x56 Leapers and the Hawke 3x9x40 AO HD scopes I have on my AA TX 200 MK III and my MRod .22 and my Titans in .177 & .22 cal. The gun is light, QUIET (a 2 for sure and an unrecognizable THUNK , nothing to get the neighbors attention!), 5/8" c-to-c @ 25 yards out of the box, has a long first stage that can be easily shortened, has a "Clean Break Trigger" at an easy 4 lb. pull that is as smooth as the TX200 just a slightly different feel, is clearly at least 10 lbs. lighter to cock , chrony's RWS Hobby's 11.9 gr @ 910-960 fps w/o break -in or cleaning the barrel that is 150 fps faster than the Titan NP in .22 cal., is not very hold sensitive but balances well just in front of the trigger guard, and it as a combo with the 4x16x40 C-P Adv. Cl scope for $249 is THE BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY IN THE PRICE RANGE YOU CAN FIND! Return if don't agree!

    Things I would have changed:

Change the plastic tapered piece at the breech end of the shroud for an aluminum piece or make it available if someone has a cracked piece. Certainly not a big deal or a deal breaker !! After all, you are getting a true hunter for less than $200 in this package. Don't change the CBT trigger, it is a great trigger! Just let people know that they should pause at the end of the first stage at the hesitation point, then let the trigger off lightly without jerking the scope off the target !! When shot correctly, this is truly a great gun and a great buy, especially in this bundle!!

    What others should know:

Shooting this gun takes a little practice like any magnum powered pellet gun but the NP2 piston and the shroud make this a neighbor friendly power house! I like the TX200 MK III and both Titan NPs and the .22 cal. Marauder but this is now my "go -to" back yard hunter/target practice gun. You get to develop your shooting skills using this gun, unlike the MRod which is a point and shoot no brainer type gun, very accurate but easy to shoot well. My gun likes the Baracuda Hunter Extremes but is not very pellet sensitive and shoots the Crosman pellets well -hollow points & round nose 14.3 grains. I will chrony these and a variety of JSB's, H & N's, Beeman's, etc soon. Don't believe the nay-sayers about this gun ! It is great and buy it from Pyramyd Air who is the only one that has this combo on special for a few more days!!! Get the 20 for 20 for a little USA quality control if you are concerned but it is assembled in the USA!! Better hurry! Thanks Pyramyd Air !!!!

NP2, The accuracy, The power, The (Thumb thru) Stock,The upgrade Scope, The Sling, The easier cocking of the NP2. It's just a great improvement over the original NP Trail.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

In both of the Benjamin Trail Air Rifle's the 5.51 (.22 cal) size pellets shot more accurately. Also it's heavy, but that's a PLUS in my book.

    Things I liked:

Received the rifle and upgraded scope for Christmas shot about 30 pellets thru it and set up a target to sight it in. The elevation was about four inches low after one adjustment it was right on. Shot ten more pellets thru it all hitting in a one inch group at 30 yards except one that was 2 inches to the right. Not bad at all for a pellet rifle that is barely broken in. Will put some more pellets thru it then recheck it at 50 yards. I think it is quiet and cocks easily. Barley kicks at all compared to .270 or .06.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle is a little longer than I am used to. But shoots good from a resting position.

    What others should know:

A good value for the money!

    Things I liked:

This gun is accurate right out of the box. The scope is amazing! Waaaaay better than the piece of crap 3-9x32 that usually comes with it. I'm so glad I found this bundle, thank you pyramyd air! The weight and length is a lot to handle at first in my opinion, being a younger shooter. I like everything about this scope, I just can't say this enough, I LOVE THIS SCOPE! The sling is nice, and necessary if you want to use this for hunting. One last thing, the shroud makes this very quiet! The only noise the is sound of the gas ram hitting the nitro piston, and that's just a dull thunk.

    Things I would have changed:

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with this airgun! I've seen a fair share of bad reviews, and I guess these peple are very unlucky, or maybe I'm just very lucky! Well, the CBT (clean break trigger) has a VERY, VERY, VERYYY long first stage, but the second stage is short and crisp, and it's adjustable, although the factory setting is fine. When I opened it up, I found that the breach, and the whole area around it was covered in oils and adhesives from the factory assembly. I guess they don't clean them off after they make them. I would recommend you clean your gun before firing it.

    What others should know:

This is definitely worth the money!!! I'm not saying this is the best out there, because its not! BUT, this IS THE BEST in its price range, by far! Do not under any circumstances buy this gun from Crosman. First of all, they don't have any bundles for it. Secondly, their prices are outrageous. Same with ammo. Just so you know, if you buy this bundle, you will not get the original scope (the 3-9x32) that normally comes with it. Some people didnt know this, even though it's like that first thing the product page says... Anyway, if your an avid airgunner, you'll LOVE this. (P.S. Younger shooters won't have much trouble cocking this, and if they do, they should work out because this is easy to cock.
