    Things I liked:

Accuracy! I mounted the scope and had this bad boy dialed in at 20 yards on a quarter sized target after only five shots. It took some getting used the weight and my breathing, but sand-bagging at 20 and 40 yards was amazingly accurate!

    Things I would have changed:

Refine the trigger just a little more. I liked the pre-squeeze range, but still found the pull a little bit hard.

    Things I liked:

This air rifle is one hard hitting air gun. The stock gives it a great look and feel.

    Things I would have changed:

The 4x16x40 AO scope has good optics, but has flaws which limit accuracy of the shooter. The scope reticle has obviously come loose, as the cross-hairs are no longer aligned with the rest of the scope.

    What others should know:

It takes at least 200 rounds to achieve a degree of accuracy, about that time you might find the scope is the limiting factor to a small group.

    Things I liked:

Bought trail np2 and vantage np at same time, using same pellets. trail np2 is slightly quieter, slightly easier to cock, but it's fps underperforms. Using the same daisy premium lead flathead 14.3gr, the vantage put out 705fps while the trail np2 only put out 770fps! The vantage is rated 950fps with alloy and trail np2 is 1100fps with alloy.

    Things I would have changed:

NP2 piston underperforms. Mine is getting 770fps with daisy premium lead flathead 14.3gr while vantage NP with SAME age, usage and pellets outputs 705fps. Only a 65fps difference when trail np2 is rated at 1100fps vs 950fps.

    Things I liked:

The weight helps with recoil. Quiet gun. Targets @ distance don't realize their being shot.

    Things I would have changed:

The weight helps with recoil. Find a different way, gun already heavy. Way 2 many sharp edges on composite stock.

    What others should know:

Buy a good quality scope. Recoil will test scopes quality. Buy the pellet pen mk2, works perfectly, despite reviews made by amateurs.

    Things I liked:

great two stage trigger. way better than my benjamin genesis. easier to cock, great stock. i was shooting dime size groups at 20 yd out the box. groups go up to 2" at 40 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

safety button seems bacwards compared to my genesis

    What others should know:

great buy, but buy combo way better scope. scope covers kind of cheap. broke as soon as i took of twice

    Things I liked:

low noise level no need for ear protection. well balanced. good scope but takes some work to sight it in but overall like the scope (centerpoint). scope mounted to rail quite well. some complain about small hand grip, worked great for me i have small hands therefore is was great for me.

    Things I would have changed:

there needs to definitely be a change in the trigger design for this gun. this is the weak link in this gun. benjamin needs to step up to bat and improve this part of this air gun yesterday. had to return my first gun within one month, and received new one. thnx pyramydair for fast service, the trigger in first gun failed but new ones acts like a different gun. can't believe it is the same gun.

    What others should know:

this is NOT a child's gun, this is an adult gun and if a 14 year old like my grandson wants to shoot this type gun there needs to be close adult supervision and safety first. don't buy airgun from box store use pyramydair, when you need customer service these folks are A no. 1.

    Things I liked:

can be quiet with 7g pellets and .22lr loud with alloy. Fairly accurate out of the box. Good craftsmanship and the scope is amazing.

    Things I would have changed:

The little plastic shroud to an aluminum piece. Better trigger.

    What others should know:

This is well worth the money. Don't listen to the cry babies, try it yourself. You will be amazed at the power and accuracy. Clean the barrel before shooting.

    Things I liked:

The Trail NP2 .177 works great. The $20 set up was well worth it. The Center Point 4-16x40 scope is a gem: It is a joy to use, and is a breeze to zero. I do all my shooting, for now, standing, offhand, and I zero as I go. It didn't take long for me to adjust the scope to my particular wobble. About 350 pellets through now, and the gun and scope are an excellent combination. The Trail NP2 .177 is well made, solid, and powerful. I am glad I chose this combo package.

    Things I would have changed:

The only gripe I have now concerns resetting the scope turrets to zero: It seems that is not possible. Despite Center Point ads touting the feature, and blog posts vaguely reporting success in resetting, I have not been able to figure it out. I am now thinking that the latest version (mine)of the Center Point 4-16x40 doesn't include the turret resetting feature. The manual even includes "No Zero Locking Feature" in its .pdf title. So, even though there is apparantly no way to reset the turrets, the rest of the scope makes up for it, and the gun itself is a beauty. I am still glad I chose this combo! I can remember the turret settings.

    What others should know:

It does get easier to cock and more quiet as you break it in. The gun is very powerful: Mind your backdrop area and be aware of ricochet danger. I seat the pellets with a 1/4" TRS adapter, which seats each pellet the same. Benjamin HP's hit hard and true, and are a good value in the 750-piece tin. The flip-up scope covers make using the quick focus and the parallax adjustment ring a pain. I removed the flip-ups, in favor of a Scope Shield. I am very happy with this combo!

    Things I liked:

I really like almost everything about my purchase. The metal finish, thumbhole synthetic stock, C.P. 4-16 scope, sling with attachment points (esp. the well designed forend attachment), ease of cocking-(what a pleasant surprise that was, given Benji’s power), quietness and, most importantly, its accuracy. Remember, the most important factors in pest elimination at these impact velocities are shot placement and penetration. This combination has more than enough of both to get the job done. I suspect the pistol grip configuration of the stock allows for a stronger, straighter finger squeeze when dealing with the non-match grade trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

As with most Crossman/Benjamin products, the trigger set up is about the only area for improvement. I will say, the CBT trigger on this gun is at least a generational improvement over their previous ones I have experienced. Yet, I am certain that so-called flyers are due to pellet imperfections and the shooter's trigger control. Wish they would offer a significant upgrade option in this department. Make no mistake, this rifle/scope is heavy--well in excess of 10# (reminds me of the heft of my Mod. 70 220 Swift with a 26 varmint barrel). Don’t know if they shaved off a couple lbs., the accuracy and hold-insensitivity might suffer.(

    What others should know:

I bought the Benjamin NP2 Trail/CenterPoint 4-16x40 package in .22cal. as sort of a back-up to an 11y.o. Gamo in .177cal.. Benji has functioned flawlessly out of the box. This may, in large part, be due to my having purchased the 20-for-$20 package from P.A. I may have avoided making numerous phone calls back to them and trips to FedEx dealing with potential quality control issues. Additionally, I can confidently state its first 20 shots chronoed between 914 and 882 ft./sec. with an average around 890ft./sec.. Using pellets in the 14-16 gr. range, am guessing I am getting +/- 800 ft./sec.. Probably should check with the 3 squirrels and 2 Cow Birds how it felt to them. It’s benchresting <1” groups at 50” with mid-range wt. pellets. Ol’e Gamo is getting dressed up with a Hawke 2-7x32, which is on back order at P.A.. Am more than willing to wait, since I know they will stand behind any problems I might encounter.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, easy cocking. Very nice looking gun.

    Things I would have changed:

After two hundred rounds could not consistently get groupings within the size of a grapefruit, at 20 yards. Tried 6 different pellets to no avail.

    What others should know:

Pyramyd Air was great in allowing me to return it. Own the other hand they told me I would get it in two days, it took 7 days.

    Things I liked:

Very well made air rifle. All adjustments, manufacture and appointments for utility or delectation (especially the sling swivels-which should be made at least available on all air rifles) are worth the price of a Savage 308/30-06/243 with scope at Wal-Mart. I am enjoying the little air rifle, in particular the pleasantly surprising accuracy with all of the many brands, configurations and weights of pellets I have run through it. Accurate, strikes the game with an excellent firm hand, all with virtually no recoil whatever! Well done Benjamin!

    Things I would have changed:

The barrel could use a little more length and less shroud. More length might make it come - at least in the same neighborhood as the advertised velocities and a small shroud would make cocking it just as comfy, and with a few holes drilled in it-quieter as well. Aside from more velocity and recoil dampener/noise reduction system, I can find no real fault with this handy little kit rifle, in fact, since I have owned it I never leave camp without it or my Martin 50Lb recurve bow!

    What others should know:

My rifle has no provision for an automatic (therefore, anti-beartrap) safety, the safety must be engaged manually. I do not see any problem with the setup, but as auto-safeties have become the norm, I thought it might do some good to mention it.

    Things I liked:

It seems well made. I liked the 20 for 20 service. It is nice to have the scope already mounted and adjusted, and the rifle already ops checked. It is easy to use, and it is powerful and smooth. So far, I am glad I bought it.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe I'll find something as I learn the gun.

    What others should know:

The quick focus ring on the Centerpoint 4-16 x 40 scope is not accessible because it is covered up by the flip-up lens cap. I am looking for other lens covers, so I can use the quick focus.

    Things I liked:

overall appearance, fit and finish of metal, and balance is good. the cost of the gun, sling, and upgraded scope is fair, but i would have gladly paid more for a better quality gun made in the USA.

    Things I would have changed:

the stock rubbed the breach when cocking. after several hundred shots all finish was worn off the breach. i cleaned the barrel several times and shot well over 500 pellets. JSB 10.34, JSB 8.44 beeman kodiak match, baracuda match, polymags, h&n field target, and could not get groups under 1.5 inches at 25yd. the boxed CP heavy and light pellets were so hard to put in the breach they hurt my fingers & groups were bad.

    What others should know:

the trigger on this gun had a lot of creep in the second stage and was very heavy, tried to adjust , but it did not help. i really wanted this gun to work, but had to return it. Benjamine's quality control is really bad. Pyramid Air's service is the best! returned the gun, and ordered a BSA lightning GRT. Thanks P.A.

    Things I liked:

This is my first air rifle, so I am not an expert. I looked around for a long time before purchasing this gun. For me, this combo package offered the best value as far as a good scope and a highly rated rifle. I found it to be very accurate right out of the box. I have only put about 100 pellets through it so far but I am shooting a quarter size group at 25 yards with the Crossman premier dome pellets. The weather is going to break today, so I will be able to get outside with my son and shoot some of his little plastic army men with him. The trigger was ok. I will probably adjust it a little. I am a large fellow, so I wish the stock was a bit longer.

    Things I would have changed:

The weatherproof stock is a little rough at the cheek rest. I saw where some people were having problems with the plastic piece on the shroud cracking. It is natural to want to twist the shroud clockwise while cocking. I think this will over tighten and crack the piece. A metal piece would be nicer.

    What others should know:

I wish I had purchased the $20.00 Pyramid Air scope mounting and service. I did not have a hard time mounting the scope, but it is something I have never done before.

    Things I liked:

This rifle seems to be fairly accurate so far. I have only 150-200 pellets down the barrel at this point. At 15 yards my 15 shot test group is 3/4 of an inch including a shot I pulled. From the Chrony (15 shot group): High-821.79 FPS, Low-804.37, Average-814.77, Extreme Spread-17.42, Standard Deviation-.014. FPE average-14.45lbs. The rifle including the scope (Center Point 4-16-40) that came in the combo pack weights in at 8.4 lbs. The trigger breaks cleaner and better than any of the older models. The first stage seems a little long to me,(The second stage can be adjusted, I have yet to attempt)

    Things I would have changed:

For my test I used Crosmans premier ultra magnums .22 14.3 grain. All of my results are well below the suggested specifications of 1100FPS and 26 FPE. The cocking effort I recorded came in at 37lbs. that is not overly hard but is also specified at 27.

    What others should know:

The scope that comes in the package is a great upgrade and well worth bumping up to the combo pack. It is perfectly paired with this rifle. The IR is fun but I will probably never use it. I received this rifle 4 days ago and have used the accompanying strap once while carrying the rifle into the house. It broke. I would say keep it for the nostalgia but don't order one if you need a strap for use in the field. I am sure it would be replaced but it is fairly trivial to me. Over all I am very happy with this purchase and have no doubts about this rifles hunting ability. I will update on longer range accuracy but the weather is not letting me get outside. An indoor range was the greatest thing I have done for myself this year.

    Things I liked:

The scope rail welded on is great no more scope shift. No barrel droop to speak of. Scope has a very positive adjustment. Trigger has a long pull but is smooth. Like the stock and grip.its been cold here in NE I've shot a can of H&N 8.18gr through so far. The army men & dinosaurs from the dollar store don't have a chance at 20 yards. Price is very fair. The people at PYRAMYD AIR are like calling buddy for advice.

    Things I would have changed:

Fix the strap clavis by the stock it broke right away, I put a cotter pin in and it works fine.

    What others should know:

Its heavy but a good flat shooter.
