    Things I liked:

Cocking effort was nice and the gun shot very quiet. Very powerful.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger had a long first stage pull from out of the box. the second stage was just ok for a new clean break trigger system. I would have ordered the synthetic stock, the wood stock looked fake. The Scope was a waste, should of knocked off the 20 bucks they spent on it.

    What others should know:

big recoil. If your looking for accuracy this is not a gun for you. I could not group at 15 meters consistently. Even after cleaning the barrel to start with this thing was all over the place. I mean sometimes missing by 5-6 inches at that distance something must be wrong. I even shot 200 rounds through it. H&N baracuda match pellets seemed to be the better of the pellets but this thing sometimes would even miss a 6 inch target all together. sorry gotta send this thing back. I thought I was getting a deal, Should have went with my first choice, HK97. when you want quality don't get it from China even though it was put together is the good ole USA.

    Things I liked:

Best feature, the trigger is as advertised. Out of the box, there's about 1/8" very soft take-up, then a distinct stop, and a very clean break at around 1.5 - 2 pounds (guesstimated). It's very consistent, too. I haven't shot another .22 air rifle, so I can't judge the noise, but it's no louder than my Benjamin Titan NP in .177, and maybe just a bit quieter. The Picatinny rail is nice. My scope bolted right up and held solid. Fittings for a shoulder sling! I have slings on every other rifle I own, since they free up both hands. Most excellent.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a heavy rifle, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing, considering the shoulder strap fittings. It feels a lot like my M-1 Garand in the way it handles, but the CG is more to the rear. I'm not sure about its accuracy at this point, having just gotten it. The first two dozen rounds were in groups that all touched each other, at 23 yards, then they started to spread, but after about a hundred rounds, it's grouping less than an inch, with RWS Meisterkugeln. Shooting RWS Superpoint, not so much, with groups around two inches, going from high left to low right. Is there a break-in period?

    What others should know:

I'm glad I bought this rifle, I think that it will make every shot a single-shot clean kill (squirrels). I hope this information helps everyone who reads it. Note: If you post a review, _please_ tell us what pellets worked for you, since that makes a huge difference in how an air rifle shoots. Example: I'm still trying to find a pointed pellet for my .177 Titan that will shoot straight. Meisterkugeln is accurate, but too little penetration.

    Things I liked:

The new NP2 is easy to cock and has a very nice trigger. The included scope is very clear. The new noise suppression system really works. The gun is well balanced and steady.

    Things I would have changed:

I was told through Live Chat that PA had received notice from Crossman that the new NP2 would have checkering on the pistol grip and forearm as described in advertisement. The one I got was not checkered. Not a major issue but not as advertised.

    What others should know:

I ordered a variety of pellets in various weights to see which ones performed best. After 300 shots nothing seems to work. All patterns at 20 yards are spread irraticaly between 4-6 inches. Too often the flyers don't even hit a 10 inch paper plate. The scope is mounted perfectly and there seems to be no wobble in the barrel. Three seasoned adult shooters fired the gun and all agree the barrel must be defective. Waiting to hear from PA for solution to the problem.
