    Things I liked:

Weight & balance of the gun is good. Shoots to 1 " rather consistently at 25/30' , bench rest, with the standard fiber optic open sights. It does not like to be set on a rest. It becomes erratic. You need to place your wrist or forearms on the rest, and keep the gun off. With the Polymag Predator pellets, I was at .6 to .7". I don't have a chrono, but penetration tests appeared as powerful as my FWB 124 rifle. A good buy.

    Things I would have changed:

Front sight is attached with 2 set screws. After 25 or so pellets, they came loose and front sight twisted on barrel. This happened twice. I then put some blue Loctite on the screws, and they seem to be holding. If they don't, I'll try red (permanent) Loctite.

    What others should know:

Cocking effort is reasonable with the supplied cocking assist handle. However, this is not for younger children.

    Things I liked:

great gun. right on the money straight out of the box with open sights i am going to try a scope now, I am not sure I can do much better.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have the cocking aid attached

    Things I liked:

The weight is just right. With open sights at 10 meters I am within an inch to inch and a half. I have an indoor basement range. This sure helps me get mental exercise.

    Things I would have changed:

I would allow the chocking aid to be securely attached to the end of the barrel - I have mine taped on - it saves time and keeps it from getting lost. I also found it hard to mount some of my scopes because the arc of the break action hits the sights.

    What others should know:

I shot through the back of my pellet stop....oops! I need to replace the paper and cardboard.

    Things I liked:

Well, the price. This is an inexpensive gun - but you knew that. Chrony showed 650fps with RWS Basic (7 grain) pellets. Accuracy was decent though I'm not great with open sights - 1.5" groups at 20 yards - I think it can do better.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be really nice if the cocking aid could be fixed in place - it is very loose and could easily fall off. The trigger pull is fairly heavy (manual says four pounds - I think it's more) and very long - but I'll get used to it.

    What others should know:

Good basic gun and good value for the price. I'm evaluating for pistol FT and I think it will pass.

    Things I liked:

This is a well made pistol and very accurate. Although the pistol is heavy it has a very good feel and balance. This pistol probably shooting across a chronograph would be at 745 fps.,that's excellent for a pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

This is a good buy for the money. It has an adjustable trigger for travel which is good. So,far the pistol is holding together!

    Things I liked:

i just got this gun while its a big gun its not bad on the cocking maybe because in 5ft10 245lbs and have big arms now it will slip on you if you dont use the cocking aid it works fine now i did a test between the crosman 1377 with 11 pumps and this gun at 4ft from a 1in thick particle board using crosman pointed pellets with the crosman the pellets bounce off leaving a nice size hole but the browning made a bigger whole with the pellets lodged in about 1/4 in

    Things I would have changed:

    none so far

    What others should know:

you can scope this gun i have a leapers red dot havent used it yet

    What others should know:

After shooting it only 25 times the gun came apart at the handle as I was cocking it the top half flew off and landed in the dirt . Gun is now back at Umarexusa. I am waiting to see what they say.

    Things I liked:

Shooting RWS Hobbies, first 3 shots out of the box at 15 meters, free hand, created a shot group about the size of a quarter.

    Things I would have changed:

Pyramyd Air's initial pre-delivery email advertising tagged this as a 800 fps air pistol - like it's name sake. After delivery Pyramyd Air's site advertised it correctly as a 700 fps weapon.

    What others should know:

Initial cocking is heavier than advertised. It was difficult to get the barrel to catch at the top of the cock. Seemed to get better with use but I suspect this might be a long term defect. Time will tell! I suspect with a light high performance pellet this rifle like pistol might exceed 700 fps.

    Things I liked:

For the money , it's a very nice gun. Lots of power and easy to load. I doubt it's competition grade but it's solid construction and a lot of fun to shoot... I'm glad I bought it.

    Things I would have changed:

I think the stock is ugly but seems strong.

    What others should know:

The quality is very good, Made by RWS ? They are mentioned in the manual. The barrel says made in Turkey. The gun is fairly heavy, so a little hard to keep on target. The trigger pull is also pretty heavy. The open sights are good, nice and bright although I put on a red dot because it's easier for me. The trigger safety is easy to use and works well.

    Things I liked:

Lots of metal, very good balance for its size. More power than you would expect. This pistol will have very good range.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the trigger metal, not plastic.

    What others should know:

The two stage trigger is ok, however, the second stage is very long on the pull, causing me to drift my shots left/right and up/down upon release of the sear. This is less of a problem if the pistol is resting on a bench, but hand-held it's going to affect accuracy. A better, all metal, adjustable, two stage trigger would turn this from a nice, powerful pistol, into a very good, inexpensive, powerful pistol! Be careful, should you remove the handle to oil the mechanism, not to tighten the two attachment screws too tight. This will cause the pistol to refuse to cock. Apparently the factory knew about this because one side of my pistol handle had two lock washers on the screw. When I put the handle back on with one washer, the pistol wouldn't cock. Added the extra lock washer and problem immediately solved. A thousandth of an inch can make a serious difference in the right place!

    Things I liked:

In second week of owning this gun, after getting use to the weight and cocking effort of the gun, it is fun to shoot. Easy to dail in the sights, and the power is probably very close to advertised, rips through both sides of heavy metal cans and plastic bottles, I was only shooting at 25 feet but damage looks like it could do the same at 40', 50' or more. Accuracy with this gun will depend on the shooter, took me some time to get use to it.

    Things I would have changed:

A lighter trigger pull would make accuracy more consistant

    What others should know:

I think anyone who puchases this gun will like it, but not made for younger airgunners.

    Things I liked:

Just received this pistol yesterday and first impressions of a person almost totally new to air guns except for an old daisy and crossman BB.\ pellet rifles are extremely favorable. I have enjoyed using and collecting all calibers of rifles and pistols but only recently became acquainted with air guns. The Browning followed my purchase of a Gamo whisper with an air venturi conversion. After receiving the Browning and reviewing the manual followed by a thourough cleaning of the barrel I opened the Gamo 4 pack sampler of pellets that I purchased with the Browning and went out back to my backyard range that though not controlled is none the less a pretty good indicator of the accuracy and power of the air guns. My range consists of targets with distances from 10 feet to 75 feet and a long shot to the corner of my yard of about 100 feet. The targets consist of different sized plastic bottles hanging from tree branches filled with water, different thickness metal cans and objects even an unopened can of mushroom soup and old hard drives from computers and the long shot is a plastic 1 gallon plastic jug filled with water. I am not familiar with all the technical aspects of the different pellets all I know is that after a couple shots to get the feel of the pistol, which by the way hit where I aimed, this pistol was hitting my hanging targets that were swaying in the wind and my stationary targets at all distances with serious penetration on impact and right through the soup can.

    Things I would have changed:

Haven't had it long enough to say yet.

    What others should know:

I'd have to say to be aware that it requires a fair amount of strength to charge and it's size, weight and balance would probably be to much for a young adult.

Charge $50 more and make the receiver metal.

    What others should know:

An addition to my previous review. What a money saver!!! Cock and shoot 25 pellets a day, (not using the barrel extension) and you can cancel your gym membership, sell your free weights and forget doing push-ups. Just cocking this "bear" is all the daily exercise you will ever need (or want).

    Things I liked:

This has to be one of the most accurate spring pistols I have shot.. I have a controled range and shooting from a prone position at 30' I scored 10/10 in a 1" dia circle.. I am not a good pistol shot but this gun feels good and I am not complaining with that type of grouping.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a Thing

    Things I liked:

It was just delivered today, so I won't comment on accuracy until I find a pellet that "works" with this pistol. On that topic, I won't downgrade a pellet unless they're deformed, bent skirts or something of that nature. I've found that a pellet that was all over the paper with one air gun works well with another. The Browning is well made, not as well as the Diana LP 8 Magnum I received last week, but hey, it's $100 cheaper. I have not "chronied "either one yet, but my impression is the Browning is faster, [should be, a lot harder to cock]. About the same as the Diana if you use the [supplied] barrel extender, [more leverage].

    Things I would have changed:

Better yet, things I did change. The first time I cocked the pistol my ears were assaulted by loud "plasticy" noises. I'm sure Browning had it made with all the integrity that was necessary, but the sounds made did not instill much confidence. I filled the handle with epoxy auto body filler. That cut down 90% of the noise. Still somewhat "creaky" but now, much better. I think the hollow grip was acting as echo chamber. Grip somewhat heavier, but that's a good thing. Better balances the long barrel.

    What others should know:

The chamber on my pistol was pretty tight. I had just received eight tins of Gamo Pro Magnum pellets from Pyramid. They fit very loosely in the the Diana's chamber and were pretty inaccurate out of that pistol. A very good fit in the Browning. Accuracy? Don't know yet, have not put enough downrange yet. I've owned a Diana Model 5 for over 25 years. If the Browning holds up for five years, I'll feel I've got more than my monies worth
