    Things I liked:

Everything. I have the .22 with an Ultra Dot and a green laser mounted to a tri-rail cut to about 3" long. Removed rear sight blade and turned rear sight around to serve as a scope stop for U.D./ laser / rail assembly. Balance is still good because weight is directly over hand. Mounted a Surefire to left side of rail w/ QD rings. Cut down front sight with Dremel sanding drum and file. Ground off all the fiber optic stuff and left a nice, gently sloping ramp on top of the main (square) front sight body. Black Sharpie on shiny metal exposed during grinding. Looks great and no sharp sight to get hung up or dig into your hand.

    Things I would have changed:

I plan to shim the breach seal. I also want to add an attachment point for a single-point sling.

    What others should know:

Joshua, THANK YOU so much for the tip about how to adjust the sear on the trigger! It worked beautifully. I kept turning the screw in 1/2 round at a time and firing one shot until the barrel would no longer latch. CAREFUL - HOLD ON TIGHT - when this happened the gun NEARLY jumped right out of my hands to the concrete floor! (Do this adjusting about 6 inches above a grassy area). Well worth the effort and the 10 minutes involved. Now I have a Great, smooth, predictable, fairly light trigger. Also, be sure to take all the pre-travel out of the trigger with the big screw in front of trigger. Or not. Some people prefer to have some amount of pre-travel. Now, I need some HELP. I want to remove the action from the stock, but I am CHICKEN. Would someone that has done this successfully please list the proper steps? I see the 2 large screws on either side of the foregrip and the one in the rear. What is going to jump out at me and get totally out of line if I start taking out screws? More importantly, how to properly re-assemble? Great site Pyramid! Thanks for any advice.

    Things I liked:

Well made, looks good. Very accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sights not enough adjustment for elevation without modding.

    What others should know:

They tell you it has a 2 stage adjustable trigger but only adjustable for the first stage, what they dont tell you and who knows why is that it has an adjustable sear. Push the pistol grip forward you will see a alan head appear its an adjustment for the sear. Turn it it makes it lighter my trigger is less then 2lbs now but be careful not to go to far or the gun wont cock. NO proplem though just back it out some. Now you got a great rigger pull.

    Things I liked:

Great performance for the price. Surprising power for a pistol. Anti-recoil feature works well.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sight would not adjust far enough to sight-in. Had the screw backed all the way out to zero the sight and the next shot would vibrate the gun enough to pop the screw out. That's not acceptable -- even for a gun this inexpensive. Became an non-issue when I mounted a Leapers red dot sight. The cocking handle works well, but unless you fix it to the gun (making the long barrel even longer) you'll have another loose part to keep track of.

    What others should know:

The low price and high performance make this gun an unbeatable value. Once I overcame the rear sight issue by going to a dot sight, I found this gun to be accurate as well as powerful. The gun gets a little hefty with a scope -- something folks of smaller stature should consider before buying this gun.

    Things I liked:

The power,786 /800 fps with crosman Lights, 177 700+ others.I like the feel of gun just right for my large hands,,appears to be well made and sturdy,I even bought the .22 cal version a few weeks ago so now I have two to choose from.I scoped it so I never used factory sights. This is a buy for the money and the power is awesome

    Things I would have changed:

Not too much I wish they incorporated the cocking lever in to the barrel to keep from misplacing it, maybe add an integeral mount.Tha's about it

    What others should know:

A bit bulky for smaller hands but all in all the power is worth it The service on a broken part replacement was tops"no hassel" I was sent a replacement very quickly good show"

    Things I liked:

this gun likes small skirts, Benjamin hollow points good deal on the price also. i think rws hollow and s-point work well. i like it cause there is no co2, saves a lot of money. hitting cans at 50ft is good, hitting 1in groups 8yds it could be better i have cheap red dot, but it works. not sure if i would take this in the field. bit heavy not sure if it can finish the job. its larger than normal handgun. sites r great work well. shot a few hundred rounds still strong. wish there was a diagram how to maintance it, besides cleaning. auto safety is good idea this is not a toy. strong hand wont be much recoil. this might be alright close range ground squirrel, chip monks, frogs lol this is .22 i put two pictures of the gun up with tape assist to barrel, also tape mount lazer and red dot and wire stock for more comfort looks tactical packs small punch i also bought mine refurbished no problems thanks for the great work over there. i love this gun to have around, happy its in my collection. have fun be safe taz running wild

    Things I liked:

I needed a .22 cal pistol to match my rifle. When I seen the 800 Mag and watched the video about it..I knew I wanted it! Seems to be well made. My old eyes needed a scope on it, even though I really like the sights that come on it. It has the power and punch of a rifle without the bulk. I like the low recoil feature which makes it not too hold sensitive. Still good technique makes good groups.

    Things I would have changed:

Is it possible to drop a Nitro Piston in it??

    What others should know:

Cocking effort isn't real light, but do-able for this 56 year old. A scope or red dot helps tighten up the groups and the 47 yard shots easier (yes, I popped a 3" can lid at 47 yds with only a 2" hold over from the 20 yard zero) with 12 grain Hobby's vel ave 568 and with 15 grain Gamo Hunters vel ave 486. I'm looking forward to taking the 20 to 35 yard rabbit with my new Browning 800 Mag with the 2x BSA scope. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Things I liked:

Accurate and powerful ! Good for pest removal at close range and target practice. Appears to be well built.

    Things I would have changed:

The extender used to cock the gun, eventually wears the finish off where it contacts the gun. A way to eliminate the cosmetic wear to the finish would be nice.

    What others should know:

This gun has power, resulting in a bit of strength to cock it. No problem for an adult male, but it would take a strong female at best.

Cool gun, very nice power! HOWEVER it's really heavy for a hand gun. I have the .22 and scoped it, it's a BEAST but fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

Weight ... and I like the idea of a previous reviewer for NITRO ... BOOYA!!

    What others should know:

Don't use Daisy pellets for this gun ... very loose

I like the power the 800 delivers at 50 feet.there is no drop in pellet ,You hit what you aim at,Its been great help in developing my pistol skills.

    Things I would have changed:

There were no instructions how to cock the pistol .I watched your video review of the pistol a few times and noticed you had to push the barrel to release the cocking lock. There is no mention of this process in the instructions from Browning.

    What others should know:

If I was not around to sign for the pistol the terminal is 45 miles away.

    Things I liked:

Good balance without a scope, then very top heavy. Great power.

    Things I would have changed:

Convert to a nitro piston. Redesign Cheap spring anti recoil system (not needed if a gas piston). Cocking is very hard, strengh is needed. My 800 was very difficult to catch the cock most times took 2 ot 3 attempts to latch.

    What others should know:

After only a few hundred shots, the plastic grip components came apart.. My gun is now inoperatble. Raise the quality, rasie the price. As is don't purchase this gun.

Value... accuracy... auto safety... power... look of gun.... scope mount

    Things I would have changed:

Front sight is connected to the barrel sleve (looks like a silencer) that is connected to the barrel with two very small allen screws. When weaker people break-cock the barrel with the barrel cocking extension, they tend to twist their grip and this then turns the sleve with the sight. It loosens the allen screws (I haven't looked but I am betting there is a grove forming on the barrel or the screws are being warn down.) This requires the sights to be zeroed again and the screws tightened. Because of the force required to cock this gun, the barrel sleve should have been more firmly attached to the barrel.

    What others should know:

This gun is a blast to shoot.

    Things I liked:

Totally awsome right out of the box, precision, quality and sweetness. Very powerfull and accurate. The anti recoil slide is very innovative and assists when pumping the weapon. Also the fiber optics are very easy for eyes to sight.

    Things I would have changed:

How about a foam lined box for protection. One thing that keeps bugging me is that the plastic on the front sight is a little defective, so when you look down the barrel, your eyes pick up the slight imperfection in the plastic. Looks as though it was filed down a little. However the gun shoots terrific and I think this flaw is probably just random.

    What others should know:

At first I thought .22 or .177 and then I decided to get the .22 version sacrficing some velocity for more punch. The juice is worth the squeeze. Nothing less than Magnum Power is what came next. Tearing aluminum from can without shame is the name of the game.

    Great power. Good Accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

    Needs a metal trigger

    What others should know:

I have a Diana P5 magnum .177, so I want to compare the Browning to that. The P5 is lighter, easer to cock, aims better and handles better. Having said that, the Browning is heavy, and hard to cock (if you want more power, deal with the cocking power. This is the gun) After figuring out how to cock the gun without the cocking mechanism, it makes it more fun to shoot. As far as quality, I have not experienced any problems with the Browning after about 500 rounds like other reviewers. The gun shoots very well. As good or better than the P5 Mag. Maybe because it’s a .22 rather than a .177. It’s just not as sturdy as the p5, meaning that it is a little clunky vs the p5 mag. The p5 mag feels a little better in construction. The Browning barrel and receiver are very good, just the trigger and the stock that are in poor quality. Both are plastic. It would make a world of difference if this gun had a metal trigger and quality mil spec stock. This gun shoots very well. All Browning has to do is improve the trigger and the stock and this is a true winner. Still, I am giving this a 5 because of how it shoots. It does shoot great. Great accuracy, great power, great price, only very good quality.

Nice hefty gun with solid quality build. Very accurate with H&N hallow .22. Nice fiber optic sights that sight in well. All with a good cheap price for a springer pistol.

    What others should know:

It is a big hefty gun almost too heavy for a small guy like me. I am 5'5" and it does take some muscle to crank it. It is not for the small, weaker, aged or young.

    Things I liked:

.177 Excellent power more than my German "Magnum". Consistent and accurate. Rear sight assembly is metal with W&E locking adjustments. Automatic safety. Good fit and finish somewhere between the Russians and the Germans. Excellent value for the money. No major issues to date with over 1000 rounds down range. Not as hold sensitive as some spring pistols. Anti-recoil system seems to contribute to it's tolerance of different holds. I haven't found the need for a 1911A1 hold and also groups well from a bench rest unlike my Baikal - 53m (Another great value) which has MUCH less power yet seems to have much more recoil and is very hold sensitive. If you want power and accuracy in a springer pistol this is it.

    Things I would have changed:

Add an adjustable trigger for length and weight! Lighten and move safety more to the rear. Why is it that any pistol I've owned with this type of compensator front sight assembly quickly loosens and moves from the factory? Loctite is a must. last needs larger grips. All minor issues that do not detract from the pistols intentions, Power and Accuracy.

    What others should know:

This pistol is heavy and to me has an odd balance that I have become use to. Also cocking effort is high without assist handle, I can do it, but it takes effort. Added a TruGlow red dot and now I absolutely love it.
