I have been waiting over thirty years for this to happen. It was well worth it. I order six. And I love them all.Long live the yester years.THE LONE RANGER RIDES AGAIN.

    Things I would have changed:

    NOT A THING

    What others should know:

YOU.will be sorry for not buying more

    Things I liked:

Gun looks and feels just like the original. Finish is outstanding, it looks just like a case hardened pistol frame. The grips are plastic but look just like ivory and are comfortable to hold just like the original. Power is good around 400 fps. wich is more than sufficient for knocking over beverage cans. Accuracy is very good for a bb pistol. You can easily hit cans at 30 feet. If you are a collector of old firearms this is a must for your collection. You won't be sorry you bought this one.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe lose the front of trigger safety, it's a good feature but it does kind of take away from the originality and is not really necessary with the half cock safety of the gun's original action which works fine.

    What others should know:

This is a beautiful piece, well made and exactly like the original in appearance. If you are a collector you need this gun for your collection. Get the tooled holster as well as it compliments the gun perfectly. Try one you won't regret it. Ken wilson

    Things I liked:

received mine 21 march. it was my birthday present (70) I have been waiting for one of this quality since childhood. the quality and detail are suburb. mine is the blued version and the finish is great. the trigger is light and just the way I like it. 230 bb's have been put down range (65 degree basement) using two co2 capsules. it has held air over two nights, no leaks. it will most likely hold air longer but is not recommended by the manufacture. I ordered 24 extra cartridges at the same time as the gun. they did not arrive yet. hope they come soon. Avanti bb's worked best for me.

    Things I would have changed:

    NOTHING

    What others should know:

six cartridges are not enough. you will want to buy more. I am looking forward to buying a couple more of different barrel lengths (4 3/4" and 7 1/2") if they become available. I am headed to the basement range to shoot it some more. bye

    Things I liked:

Things I like: This Peacemaker replica :-) This is an accurate replica in looks, feel, and operation. Balance is superb. Shells load and eject just like the real thing. Loading is fun. The finish is excellent and adds to the enjoyment of just looking at this replica. Shooting is also fun and the accuracy is impressive. C)2 loading is easy and efficient in the handle of the pistol and keeps the balance right. Accuracy depends on careful use of the sights, since there is no read sight. The front sight is a needle and keeping it in the rear groove consistently determines how accurate your shot will be (along with a steady hand). Fun to use, handle and just to look at. I plan on buying a few more in the future, just because I love the look and feel and enjoy shooting it so much. It reminds me of my old Ruger Blackhawk 41 magnum. You will love it. I plan on buying a matching chrome version, just to have a pair of them. Just looking at one is a pleasure in itself.

    Things I would have changed:

I can't think of a single thing that I would change in this product. If I was to change anything, I think I would have the C02 chamber redesigned to replicate the Colt Python, but it is just fine as it is.

    What others should know:

This is a heavy pistol. If you are looking to become a fast-draw artist it will take some practice. This is not a flyweight pistol and quick-draw and fanning is not as easy as they make it look in the western movies. But it is sure fun to try to develop some proficiency in these areas. It's part of the mystic. This is your gun if you want an accurate replica of the classic six-shooter of the old west.

    Things I liked:

The pictures on the web do not do this pistol justice. It's beautiful! It feels just like my real SAA, which was chambered in .357, and it shoots very accurately for a smooth bore pistol. I have been waiting for this pistol for a very, very long time. This was certainly worth the wait. I'm looking forward to buying more shells for it, as well as a new holster, (if I can't find my old one that is.) It is so great to have a single action six in my collection again. I probably won't try fanning this pistol, as that's what broke my real one. (That's what I get for letting my younger brother try it. Won't do that again.)

    Things I would have changed:

I would offer wood grips stock, and enough shells to do at least one reload without having to stop and break out the bb's. Other than that, it's great right out of the box. Absolutely LOVE this pistol!

    What others should know:

The shells measure out closer to .357 than .45, but since my old SAA was chambered in .357, it feels very familiar to me. If you like the old Single Action Army, you can't afford to pass up this pistol. I can easily see me purchasing another copy, just to have a matched set.

    Things I liked:

The overall realism put into the development of this firearm clone.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing other then different barrel lengths and grip types, however I have heard that these will be made available sometime in the future so this is not really a con.

    What others should know:

Mine leaks, I haven't had a chance to get out and try to test some things with it yet, but when the weather clears up I will. Tom Gaylord gave me a few pointers on how to stop the leak so I will give them a shot.

it took 60 days to get one,but WOW like everybody else I think this one is the best, beautiful finish and very realistic down to the color of the plastic grips(can't get ivory these days)The Colt Peacemaker remind me of the stallion cap gun I had when I was a kid back in the 50s,the one using round cap in the shell.I'm very pleased with this gun it will go great on my wall with my tanfoglio witness 1911 and luger P08 for my collection

    Things I would have changed:

nothing,I have order extra shells and cool black holster(I'll look like Johnnie Ringo in Tombstorm)

    What others should know:

maybe P/A can add the Buntline Special like the one on the old tv series Wyatt Earp I have not shot my gun yet to check the accuracy, but like I have said in pass rewiews I'm not looking for a target pistol, but a real looking replica beside I have a Steel-Storm which can shoot 300 rounds a minute!!!if I need a target gun

    Things I liked:

It is not black! The photos on the item page make it look black, but it is actually a fair representation of the antique blued finish found on many replica black powder firearms. The weight is good, and the trigger is very light. Some people go to a lot of trouble and expense to have a trigger this light.

    Things I would have changed:

The "bullets" are all one color, unlike the ones used with the Dan Wesson guns.

    What others should know:

This is the air pistol some of us have waited for for so long! Can't wait to see the Marshall's edition.

Received it yesterday. Unbelievably good-looking; looks like it's dressed in a tux. We're still snow-covered and ice cold here, so will report on functionality ASAP.

    Things I would have changed:

    TBD.

    What others should know:

Really big & heavy - not for kids. The manual incorrectly states to put the safety on before half-cocking the hammer to load or unload. However, when the safety is on, the hammer is locked. The safety must be OFF to half-cock the hammer, then put the safety back on and load/reload.

To be honest, I'm gonna purchase a couple as gifts! If you or someone you know, are into airguns, this is the airgun for them! Umarex knocked the ball outta the park on this one!

    Things I liked:

The Colt SAA has nice crisp detailing. The trigger and hammer action are clean and predictable. Generally, the 'blued' finish looks pretty good (more on the 'bluing' to follow). Loading-in the CO2 cylinder is relatively easy and straight-forward. The metal material from which the revolver is made is quite adequate to the purpose and the workmanship and finish on the parts are certainly very acceptable compared to a few other Taiwanese products I've used in the past. 36 shots were fired off (6 cartridges times 6) in our garage today , at a cardboard target about ten paces away. It's freezing cold outside and the garage isn't much warmer so I had to be satisfied with that action for now. The accuracy and the consistency of the Colt were really pretty good , considering the low temperature and the fact that it was my first test-run with the revolver. I think that the Colt SAA was a good buy for the money and PA did their usual magic with a quick and efficient delivery here to the house.

    Things I would have changed:

Now back to the 'bluing'. I've seen top-of-the-line bluing done on older guns as well as brand new ones. My brother is a gun-smith with years of experience in the trade. The 'bluing' on this Colt SAA is something I've never seen before. I don't think that it is actual bluing, but instead some process that mimics bluing. The barrel and body of the gun are pretty good , but the cylinder showed five bare metal spots right out of the box. It almost looked like some form of lacquer spray which had beaded off at some points from the cylinder. I touched up all of these using a Sharpie permanent marker and it looks pretty good now. The encyclopaedia of writing printed on the side of the Colt's barrel is real pain. By now , you'd think that companies like Umarex would know better. Not impressed. The front end of the openings in the cylinder have been stopped-down. That doesn't look great and it's not necessary. I'm going to try and see if I can 'weather' the plastic(supposed-to-be-ivory)grips.

    What others should know:

If you like the flavour of the Old West in your shooting irons , you really should consider adding the Colt SAA to your collection. Further down the line , I will be seriously considering other versions of this handgun , like the nickel-finish and possibly a pellet-shooting model , as they become available. This is not a competition handgun , but it is fun to shoot and definitely adds character to any collection of handguns. Order one , take it for a test-run , and I believe that you'll like it.

    Things I liked:

Well, finally after pre-ordering this Colt replica in January it arrived in today's mail. Opening the box I felt like a kid at Christmas. I think I let out a slow "wow" under my breath. The blue finish on this airgun is exquisite. I personally have not seen anything better on the eight replicas that I own. It is such a fine finish, it is almost easy to overlook the legal language that has to be printed on replica airguns. The overall fit is excellent. The action is crisp. Rotation of the cylinder produces the satisfying clicks you hear working the action of a real Peacemaker. The trigger let-off is positive and light. I don't have a trigger gauge so I can't provide any numbers but shooting the revolver from a rested position, the release is quite predictable. The grip and pointablity of the gun reinforces the legendary handling of the original Colt. The brass shells are heavy and provide a satisfying feel when loaded singly as the cylinder is rotated at the half-cock.

    Things I would have changed:

There is nothing I would ask to be changed except the possibility of having real wooden grips being available. However the white plastic grips replicating ivory are quite nice and have the creamy somewhat yellow cast that ivory should have. The fact that the hex wrench for tightening the screw for the CO2 cartridge is built into the left grip is a great feature. The brass shells are approximately the size of a 38 special in diameter so when extra shells become available, a gun belt with 38 special loops will be perfect to hold those extra shells.

    What others should know:

Upon getting the gun and loading it, I set up six plinking targets using the small size pop cans and small cat food cans resting on their side with the bottom of the can facing me. At 15' using a single offhand hold, I had no problem hitting 4 of the six, twice. Shooting from a rest I produced groups measuring 1"-1.5" with Umarex and Hornady BBs. I shot a group using Gamo lead BBs and shot the nicest group with a max 1" spread. Like the original this is not a target gun, but it is sufficiently accurate for fast moving action shooting. If the action of this revolver turns out to have durability, I can see this being used by cowboy action shooters to practice. I don't have a chronograph but at 15' steel BBs penetrated the bottom of the small cat food cans. After nine rounds of shooting I shot at a steel soup can from 15' and the BB penetrated one side.

Weight and heft of this metal revolver.Fits nice in my hand,it's a natural pointer for me. One of the most accurate bb guns I have shot at 20 feet, six shots covered by a nickel. Like the looks, fit, finish and the cartridges.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe have the cylinder able to spin freely.

    Things I would have changed:

Ejection rod could be smoother. It would be nice to have a little resistance from the case when inserting and removing with the rod instead of it dropping out.

    What others should know:

Makes me want a leather holster for it.

Fun pistol to shoot. I like Colt's single action army. seems very good quality no rough edges or casting marks. They do a decent job making the safety not distract from the guns look.

    Things I would have changed:

I think the safety is Not needed. The original colt design did not have one. Make the spare shells available ASAP I ordered four sets when I originally ordered the pistol.

    What others should know:

I hope the spare shells arrive in stock soon. I hope the do note add a speedloader as part of the package it would probably there cost and would be use less. The accuracy is not bad. the Webley revolver is more accurate in my off hand single action test.

I just received it this afternoon and I am unpressed. It is indeed a realistic copy of the revered Colt Peacemaker Single Action Army .45 revolver. I have only shot it 24 times and at approximately 20feet, I had a group of 2 inches! I definitely recommend this pistol to anyone who enjoys and appreciates the old westerns.

    Things I would have changed:

I am sure this was an over site, but a wrench was not provided to install the CO2 cartridge. Other than that, I cannot think of anything that I would change! It's that good!

    What others should know:

    Yeah! Get one!

    Things I liked:

This gun is easy on the eyes. The look and feel is very close to the original single action Army 45.The engineering on this gun is right on.I got 126 rounds down range per CO2. The first 16 rounds at 18 feet grouped in a 1" Dia.

    Things I would have changed:

There is not much I would change but I did notice that sometimes with the trigger when half cocked, the cylinder is not unlocked and it will not rotate. Usually on the second attempt it will work.

    What others should know:

This maybe just in my case but the box did not include an allen wrench to install the co2.
