Styling was very authentic looking. The finish was beautiful The weight was similar to the weight of a real .45. I liked the feel of realism of loading and unloading the bullets and wish they weren't so expensive to buy more. It seemed to be stingy with gas, but at the same time, had excellent power.

The gun would look more authentic if the hammer would seat firmly (or closer) against the frame. The cylinder has a very hard time advancing to load and unload. Although there is a mention in the manual it does not spin freely-which is not necessary-my gun did not want to rotate smoothly and you had to keep re-cocking the hammer to advance. If the "bullets" had a silver or aluminum tip, like I've seen in some airsoft bullets, it would add greatly to the realism and would look great on holster belts! It would be great if they would offer the weathered version of the gun-that was on the Ranger commemorative gun. The blued version-from the photos-looks too "blue".

I decided to send the pistol back to Pyramyd after becoming frustrated at the hammer getting jammed when cocking. For some reason, I had to keep re-cocking it to shoot. There must have been a lose thingamajig in mine. I'm looking forward to getting it back!

This is the best looking Single Action made yet. I like the look and feel of the gun.

The hammer does not close all the way so it look odd. The grip feels like really cheap plastic, very thin.

I've been waiting for a realistic Single Action for a long time now. Finally it's here.

It works and looks like its daddy (.45cal.).

I would have the shells fit just a little tighter. They move too freely in the cylinder.

I now have both SAA's silver and blue. They ate very faithful copies of the famous Colt revolver. If you want to show off your Colt 45 in a wall display (which of course you can't with the real thing for safety reasons) this is the answer. It shoots great too. I shoot less than 2" groups off-hand 10 meters. Good as a cowboy anyway.

Make these same models in 6mm Airsoft.

I like the fact that this has the Colt name. That makes it special. It also functions very much like a Colt, and looks like the real thing.

It needs to have some fancy engraving on it.

Everyone should have two, and a fancy silver adorned holster rig to show them off.

The look and feel are wonderful. It is just a neat piece of work and they have stuck to many of the small similarities of the real model. It is easy to use and you get a lot of shots out of one CO2 cartridge.

Don't know that I could nit pick this gun in any way. The short comings that it may have are not enough to bring up.

Order extra shells so you can have more fun shooting and less time reloading.

what's not to like? i've wished for years for a replica saa that does not hang a co2 cyl under the bbl, umarex has accomplished this by going to a grip frame designed after the 1860 navy/army colt cap and ball rev. i set the new umarex next to my uberti saa .45 for a visual comparison and if a person did not know the difference there would be no difference. i showed the rev. to quite a few of our customers, all were suitably impressed. two that i know of also purchased this product,one being our mutual friend tom slocum, who does our air gun repairs,i also back ordered another for myself.(could not resist). our customers are gun folks,air or powder, the shop is avon gun in avon,n.y. my overall and value rating would be 5STARS. j.r.boon

the only thing that i would change,this is nitpicking now, would be the front sight height. my rev. shoots a bit above the sight. each unit will probably be different. j.r.boon

Great looks, all metal, great finish, realistic action, long CO2 life.

The hammer, it just hangs back too far for safe handling. If you try to handle/spin it like a real one, you may (will) cut your thumb on the sharp top of the hammer, that is nearly at half cock.

The grip is longer that a real one, but this is because the CO2 is housed in the grip. This makes it a little out of balance, but I could not pass this one up, as I did with the earlier ones. If you are buying this as a gun handling gun, you would be better off with a good quality blank gun than this.

Very authentic. I am a strong single action shooter and this is going to save a lot of money in terms of practice. I am hoping that they produce a sheriff/gunfighter version with a shorter barrel. Amazingly accurate - from a handgun rest, it shoots 1.75 inch pattern for six shots consistently. Very good instinctive hand/eye feel at short range.

The fact that the hammer does not rest against the frame is a little distracting. Definitely NOT a fanning gun - the barrel bolt does not lock up firmly enough and the cylinder momentum can cause it to skip out of alignment; the hammer has to travel too far back so it will pinch your holding hand rather severely. I have only shot it at 20 feet thus far and it is still too cold outside to get consistent CO2 performance.

What kept this from being a 5-star all the way is the faulty cylinder lock up and the hammer spur length. I have access to some usable spare parts and am considering reshaping the hammer.

It has the sound and feel of an extremely good replica airgun. It is really well made.

I would want wood handles.

This is one of the best, if not the best, replica airguns I have seen.

Absolutely the best replica air gun I own...and I have a lot, over 20. The one thing you need to know is that when you half cock the hammer to insert or remove the cartages do it gently or it will advance to far and the process will have to be repeated.

You notice I give it 5 stars in all categories. That is because I have wanted a gun like this since I was a boy. Value for the money is because there is no other one like it. (that I know of) Accuracy, now that is a matter of opinion, I do not want a six shooter to aim with, I want to point and shoot. This gun has a good balance and right out of the box I was hitting the things I pointed at, so I was extremly pleased.

If I could change one thing I would change the fact that the hammer never completely seats. With it partially open it can somtimes get in the way when the shooter trys to spin the gun. Now that has nothig to do with the way it shoots but if you want to play with it like the cowboys in the movies it is important.

Items I have learned the hard way. One take a steel wool pad and clean the tip of your CO2 cartrige and put a little non detergent 30 wt. oil on the tip. These measures will lengthen the life of your end seal, and though other things can go wrong with your gun, losing your seal is a common problem, my opinion of course.

This is an excellent replica of the Colt SAA. The weight and balance are identical to the real weapon. The action is outspending and the accuracy of the weapon is very good up to about 10 yards. Superb Handgun !! Incredible amount of fun.

Absolutely nothing.

This gun looks much better in person than the stock photo shows. You can't help but be impressed with the detail that the manufacturer went through with this. Buy extra cartridges for this and bring out the Cowboy in you. This weapon fits perfectly in any holster made for the Colt SAA.

It's a Peacemaker ! And the price is right. Any 1873 holster will work and look Western.

The trigger, half cock mechanism could be smoother, but it's not bad, just not very realistic.

Being the shells are loaded individually, pellets can also be fired in it. And get lots of shells! It's a drag to have to reload them every few shots so get enough that you can have FUN !

The fact that it feels like a real Colt,nice weight and the cylinder spins so smooth. Hammer pulls like the real thing,nice light trigger too. Bluing is just perfect! Love how it loads. Pretty accurate for a bb revolver.lots of shots on co2!!!

Plastic grips but anything else would have jacked up the price. The little tab at the top of the grip seems like it may wear or break after taking it on and off after a while,we shall see.

Great gun,if you ever were going to buy a Colt,buy this one. Just a really nice gun to own.
