Quality is built into this pellet rifle. Plenty of power and ease of use. Scope is super nice and I have no qualms recommending this to everyone.

    Things I liked:

Weaver Picatinny mount.Fast. .177 cal is cheaper than my .22.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger as usual. Stock trigger is awful.Put metal muzzle breaker on it instead of plastic. The added barrel weight may help in the jump.

    What others should know:

Took me about 2 tins of CPHP 7.9gr to finally get it to start grouping. The trigger has to be replaced with a GRT or GTX custom and tweaking it to ones comfort. Scrub the barrel to get out the factory gunk.I screwed up 2 good scopes by over tightening the rings and ended up with a simple 4x30 Centerpoint.I'll upgrade it to a Leapers later and watch the over tightening or you'll crease the tubes on the scopes. Right now I'm zeroed for 30-40 yards and getting a 1/2" group at 30yd and about 1-1.5" at 40 yd. So its came along way. I tested it today and its still holding the zero.Hopefully it'll stay. Got some Discovery 10.3gr HP coming and can't wait to try them out.May get even better with a 10gr and upgraded 4x12-40 scope. Looks like a good deal if its all tweaked out.

    What others should know:

I recently got this gin for Christmas and I was using Daisy Precision Max .177 pellets and I was extremely disapointed at the accuracy; the pellets were all over the place. Then I switched to Crosman Premier Hollow-Points and the accuracy is much better. The accuracy could be better but i believe it is because of my poor sighting in. Overall I love this gun and I would reccomend it to anybody. I am not sure why; but i nailed 2 pigeons and they didnt drop... I don't understand how with this much gun the thing could fly away. I will post again when I find a solution to my problem.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, low sound once the initial break-in period is passed (150 shots-ish). I got it in .22 and this packs a good punch. Works best so far with the 16grn Predator Polymag pellet. Scope not bad and fairly accurate out of box.

    Things I would have changed:

Heavy and long. It is a very hefty gun (12ish lbs) which isn't always a bad thing I guess.

    What others should know:

This gun is well worth the money. The first few shots are wild and loud. After a couple hundred shots it starts to quite down and group better. Great gun

    Things I liked:

Anyone who has bad things to say about this rifle is just a whiner. I just bought this rifle and it's a fantastic value. I read and watched every review of this rifle that I could find online and as I suspected the majority of nay Sayers were just wrong. I have about 200 rounds thru mine and it's really starting to come around. It makes my Remington airmaster 77 feel like the toy it is. I fired a crosman pointed hunting pellet at a 1 gallon windshield washer fluid jug filled with water at 20 yds and the pellet passed straight thru and buried in the tree behind it.

    Things I would have changed:

The long trigger pull is the only thing that all my online research confirmed. I've adjusted the first stage as far as it will go but the second stage is still way to long and makes it very difficult to use the artillery hold correctly. The only other knock I have on this rifle is that I had to switch to a pellet with a lot more expansion than I used in my airmaster77 to prevent shots from passing thru squirrels and winding up in the neighbors ear!!!

    What others should know:

This is my first break barrel rifle so I don't know for sure what kind of accuracy can be attained by purchasing a much higher priced gun. The cocking effort is stout but smooth the scope works fine and holds zero. The firing cycle makes about as much noise as a pump gun but has alot more energy. I got the value package deal with the pellet pen and a tin of pellets, well worth the money don't hesitate to buy this sweet shooting rifle

    Things I liked:

I took back an Gamo Big Cat and bought the Venom Dusk. After only about 10 shots of Crosman lead hollow points, I had it zeroed in. I really like this gun. I have Crosman SSP pointed pellets, but cannot get them to group in any gun I have. Still looking for a good accurate alloy pellet. My scope mount has caused no problems and has stayed in place.

    Things I would have changed:

Not too fond of the trigger, but getting used to it.

    What others should know:

I would and have recommended it to a friend.

    Things I liked:

The feel and look of the rifle

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger, the scope and better quality of the materials used. The weight is also abit much for carrying around when hunting.

    What others should know:

For a rifle retailing for over $200 the quality isn't there, trigger is horrible long, heavy and creapy, I could not site it in and so accuracy was not there. Last but not least the scope should also be of better quality, It would not allow for a clear picture at any distance.

    Things I liked:

I have read evaluations that pick this air rifle apart. For the money and right out of the box, you can't beat this rifle, it is a great value! Is it heavy? I say it's stout and well built, it's not a toy. Bought the .22 rifle to keep my farm clean of skunks and barn pigeons and figured I better check the power first. The .22 pellets zing right threw the steel roofing..so you need to be cautious plinking pigeons inside. It penetrates 1/2" OSB and has very good accuracy with the supplied scope. This .22 is "very quiet" and just plain fun to shoot..would recommend it to anyone that needs a quality, powerful and inexpensive air rifle for pleasure and/or pest control.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger travel is a bit long, adjustable to some degree, but "learnable".

    What others should know:

If you need a quality airgun that doesn't break the bank and won't wake up the neighbors..this is the one.

    Things I liked:

Its well built and has a good trigger. It shoulders and points well. I like the finger grooves on the stock.

    Things I would have changed:

Cocking for the first couple of hundered shots are very hard. It does lighten up some.

    What others should know:

Even though it has the nitro piston its loud. Shooting jsb exacts at 15.5grs. its accurate but, its as loud as my gamo cfx 22.cal

    Things I liked:

I received this Crosman as a birthday gift from my daughter. After reading some of the reviews here I wasn't expecting a really good shooter. I was surprised. It did diesel quite badly at first. I was using Crosman Pointed hunting pellets, 7.4g, the kind you buy at the discount stores. The box said 1200 fps so I expected maybe 1000 with these pellets. The first shot over the chrony registered 1424 fps! And LOUD! So I just plinked around the yard for fifty shots, or so. After the gun quieted down considerably I went back to the chrony. After approx 100 shots she settled down right at 960 fps with these pellets. I zeroed the scope, shooting offhand, so didn't get it really precise, but I can say this. After zeroing, I hit the bottom round of a soda can, every time, at 40 yards. And now that it's settled in it is quieter by far than my Benjamin 392. This is a keeper in my book.

    Things I would have changed:

I didn't weigh the gun, but it's quite heavy. I'd like to see sling swivels incorporated somehow.

    What others should know:

Factory leaves a lot of lube in there so it's going to diesel for awhile and be loud, but once it settles in you will be happy.

    Things I liked:

light weight, break barrel, gas piston, scope is sufficent nothing special. once I finally found what pellets it likes I am very pleased with the accuracy. took alot of different pellets to find them.

    Things I would have changed:

trigger, didn't like it, so I bought a charlie da tuna GRT 111 trigger and the gun is much better. It has a hair trigger now but it is totally predictable.

    What others should know:

14 grain pellets this gun likes #1 beeman FTS, #2 RWS superdomes, #3 RWS superpoints. 21 Grain pellets it likes #1 beeman kodiaks, #2 H&N barracudas

    Things I liked:

Very quiet and powerful. Accuracy is good now that I have fired over 200 rounds. Deadly with squirrels using the Crosman Premier hollow point .177 lead pellets. Nine down in just a week or so, and each squirrel that was hit fell dead, even the mid-body hits took them down quickly enough that they fell from the trees.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger.

    What others should know:

Gun is a bit heavy, but very accurate and repeatable once you get beyond the first 50 or 100 pellets. Scope is OK, I generally use it at 4 or 5 magnification since I've mostly been shooting at 30 to 40 yards.

    Things I liked:

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger definitely and maybe the scope but, to date no real issues with the scope.

    What others should know:

Took four shot to get in 1" bullseye from 20 yards. Four more had center hits at 1/2" group. That's 8 shots from the time it came out of the box. The trigger is like everyone says... TERRIBLE! I haven't played with the factory adjustments yet but will. GRT III is on order anyway. Using the artillery hold and forcing myself to squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze the trigger (long travel) the rifle performs like a high dollar target rifle! And this is with fewer that 50 shots toward break-in. I would challenge any gun out there up to the 400 dollar range. This baby is a REAL shooter!!!

I liked the durable composition stock, as well as the Nitro Piston powerplant.

    Things I would have changed:

The lack of accuracy and the poor quality of the trigger.

    What others should know:

I note that my previous unflattering, but absolutely accurate review of this product does not appear on your site. That says a lot about your company and your "REVIEW" policy. If you doubt the veracity of my assessment, I would be glad to exchange the airgun for an equivalently priced one (or even another sample of the same model), so you can test it for yourself.

    Things I liked:

The stock design, overall feel, & balance is very good on this rifle. Cocking and firing sequence is very smooth thanks to the nitro piston technology. Noise is also much less than on a spring gun of equal power.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see Crosman install a set of open sights on this gun, also a set of sling swivels like on the Benjamin.

    Things I liked:

Well made, doesn't feel cheap. Shoots awesome. Dispatches varmints with ease. Feels and performs like a rifle, not a BB gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure about the quality of the scope. It is very clear and sharp, but I couldn't get a decent group out of the gun. When I tried to adjust the scope to the right it didn't move right away. It took a few taps on the turret with a nickle. I've had other scopes do this as well, so not a definitive problem. A friend suggested I try a different scope, so I did. It turned out switching pellets improved the groups, but I haven't changed the scope back so I'm not sure if the scope is ok or not.

    What others should know:

The manual says "designed for crosman pellets" and I believe it. I was shooting Daisy spear pointed pellets because I had them. They were all over the place. I couldn't get a group to save my hide. I got some crosman match wad cutters and they shoot like a dream. Very tight groups. The crosman pellets were about the same price as daisy, but they shot a LOT better.
