    Things I liked:

this gun is a well executed tinker toy. it's small, light, accurate and everything works just like the adds say it will. no trouble loading the magazine. single loading is kinda tough however because of my fat fingers. i have a regulator and gauge on the way and plan on a 130 to 140 bar setting. this gun is a long way from rws 350 mag so it doesn't rest on bags well. it takes some concentration to steady the hold. one of my utgs is mounted on it and this should terrorize the squirrels in the area

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

i will order more magazines when i settle on the best shooting pellet

    Things I liked:

In short, I love this little rifle! It is very light, simple and accurate. I wanted a fixed sight pcp rifle so that is a plus for me. Absolutely love dinging steel in the backyard. I believe the 17 is a little louder then the 22 but its the cheapest to shoot. With unlimited pellets the 22 would be my choice. I almost forgot, the trigger is not bad either. No struggling to hold the sight while pulling the trigger. This is not a target rifle but if i do my part this thing will ding steel all day long.

    Things I would have changed:

I believe a barrel band would be a good thing to help with support for rough use but the accuracy is fine as is. Wad cutter or target pellets will frequently jam in the magazine. I took the mag apart and chamfered the feed tunnel on the inside and WHALA,! No more problems. Shoots flat nose pellets fine and of course round nose are no problem to begin with. FYI I did not want to put a scope on this but if one did there is very little rail for the rings. I would look elsewhere if that was my intention

    What others should know:

A PCP air source is an investment one must make to get in the game. To me a tire pump is no option! If you have taken the plunge already then this is a great little plinker but as an only gun this would not be my choice. The initial cost of the air source warrants a a rifle with much more potential. However if you already have your tack drivers and big bores etc this thing is a great addition to your collection for you or your child to shoot. Remember that BB or pellet gun when your eyes were young? If you have air its like coming home.

    Things I liked:

Ooo, this is cute! It appearsars that many manufacturers are trying to bulk up their guns and slather them with macho features. Diana has gone the other way. This is a compact format basic PCP rifle that recalls the plinking 22s of my youth. Think Nylon 66. It's niicely detailed, with a slender stock and a very low overall weight. It should not intimidate a smaller stature shooter. It also comes with truly useful iron sights. These are not Tru-Glo, but old school iron style (parts are plastic.) I have always found Tru- Glo sights annoying, because I get a halo in my vision that obscures the target. Like many other things, the sights are basic but elegant. It can be mounted with 11mm scope rails, but there is not a lot of real estate to do the job. Many scopes will require removing the front sight.

    Things I would have changed:

Order the seond barrel band, They are available in a diferent format (plastic) on Ebay for ten bucks if the Diana band isn't in inventory. I also ordered the regulator and the additional gauge/fill port mechanism, which shot this up considerably in price.

    What others should know:

Acurate, light, and compact. There's a video of this gun shooting to 100 yards. It ain't no slouch.

    Things I liked:

The price is hard to beat. The rifle is extremely lightweight and seems like it functions properly. I have not had it long enough or shot it enough to comment on durability or accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

Diana should install a second barrel band at the factory instead of waiting for customers to buy one and install it later. I believe most of us would pay the extra 10 or so for this convenience.

    Things I liked:

the cheap PCP with a nice handling and good accuracy. And when I buy this one, PyramydAir threw in a matis scope for free, so I'm more than happy.

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger weight is still not enough even after adjusted to the heaviest.

    What others should know:

I don't know it is me or it is common, when the trigger weight is adjusted to the heaviest, the 2nd screw as stated in the manual, the safety button is NOT working, I can pull the trigger and fire the gun without any issue, even the safety button is on!!! I think there is a recall on the first gen and I checked my serial number, it is not in the recall list. So be really careful when you adjust the trigger weight screw.
Anyone else has the issue? Should we report this to the Air Venturi?

    Things I liked:

Gun is light ! It is a power house for the money. Very accurate to 30-40 yards. Its also very quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

The fill tube adaptor leaked at the males and female connections. It sometimes takes sets of hands to fill with a hand pump. Does not like to take air. Air Venturi sent a new male connector works fine the first time with the new male on the pump and nipple I was sent. The second fill back the the same thing. A drop of oil will help it seat and take air. Mags are not the easiest to load.

    What others should know:

This gun is easy to jam of youre not paying attention. It does not like to load anything with a lip around the pellet like the Winchester pellets it will shot them but hard to get into the breach

    nice looking

    Things I would have changed:

shot one time, the bolt is somehow stuck in the breach, it is loose enough to slide back and forth about an inch but will not open I went to load the magazine and it fell apart. other then it looks good hanging on the wall, I do not know what to do with it. send it back?

    What others should know:

    keep looking ?

    Things I liked:

Lightweight, accurate, easy and fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine seems a bit flimsy, and Loading the magazine is a bit of a learning curve, much more glitchy than loading, say, a Benjamin magazine.

    What others should know:

Overall, excellent gun for the money, and I would not hesitate to buy again. But it does benefit from adding an additional barrel band, it's a whole new gun with that improvement. You can get one on ebay for ten bucks delivered, and while it is plastic instead of the metal one Diana has but never seems to be in stock, it does install without having to remove the barrel, so that's really nice. It's made out of Strong plastic instead of metal, so not as pretty, but hey, this is a sub $200 gun, so do you really care?

    Things I liked:

I have the 22 version of the Diana Gen 2 Stormrider. The gun is very noticeably lighter than my springers and two other PCP guns I own. Like others have stated it looks like it would feel like a toy but when shouldered it becomes just a nice light comfortable gun to hold. I've run a couple hundred rounds through it now and find the accuracy is excellent. Since it's so light it is easy to hold on target. The gun is very quiet and seems like it isn't very high fps but when observing the pellets hitting targets at 50+ yards one can see it is as good as my 870+ feet per second springers.I haven't run pellets through the chronograph yet - that is coming to see just how fast. Shots are consistent and dead on !! The trigger is really nice and easy to pull with a crisp break. I've gotten 30 good shots off before noticing any drop off in velocity. For a 100 cc. cylinder - I am impressed !

    Things I would have changed:

Add a second barrel band as standard and supply more than one magazine with the gun.

    What others should know:

For the price this gun is well worth the investment ! A second barrel band is a piece of cake to install so get one with this gun purchase.

    Things I liked:

Light and handy. Easy to charge with a hand pump. Using a $50 Chinese pump it takes 73 pumps to go from 100 bar to 200 bar. The charging probe enters and exits the air tube easily. Trigger is good for such an inexpensive gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Add another barrel band and increase air tube capacity. I would also change the magazine to something less delicate than the one that comes with this gun.

    What others should know:

This gun makes more noise than I expected. It's not muzzle noise kit comes from the hammer hitting the air valve making a ping noise that is fairly loud. The bore was filthy as received and patches came out coal black at first but it cleaned up nicely. The gun needs a barrel band out near the muzzle end. Diana really cheaped out here, they should be ashamed of themselves for omitting such a necessary part.

The lite weight makes the rifle handle very well. The accuracy is phenomenal. Racoons are one shot kill's @ 50 yards

    Things I liked:

I like the light weight and short length it makes the gun really handy to use. The sights are decent and let you hit small targets at distance. The 7 shot mags work flawlessly as does the bolt action. The synthetic stock is well made and feels solid.

    Things I would have changed:

I would add another barrel brace because it is needed. I would also increase the air capacity.

    What others should know:

This gun makes more noise than I expected. It's not muzzle noise it's coming from the air valve and makes a loud ping when fired. It would be an excellent choice for carrying in the field being light and handy. More than accurate enough for hunting small game. At $200.00 it's a good deal.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see the air gauge moved to the old position so when you're looking at the gauge you're not basically looking down the barrel

I was skeptical because of the price but I'm very pleased with my purchase

    Things I liked:

Pinpoint accuracy, lightweight and easy to handle, light factory trigger setting, quiet firing. In short, what's not to like about this gun? I didn't try the open sights but mounted the Swiss Arms 3-9x40 w/blue reticle and, once I got it zeroed (at 15 yards) I was putting one shot right into the same hole as the one before on a steady basis. I've got a nitro piston gun that gives me fits on accuracy and I don't know if it will ever come out of it's case after shooting this little gem.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a second barrel band a standard feature. I plan on adding one as soon as possible and I expect even better performance :).

    What others should know:

The first three rounds tend to hit high, then the next 7 or 8 are dead on. After that, there is a noticeable drop in velocity and the pellets start hitting low. Two ways this can be dealt with.
1 - Buy a regulator which will , of course, reduce your power output but give you more shots at a consistent velocity.
2 - The method I used (because I like to keep the power up) was, once I topped up the air, I dry fired three times. Then I would fire a single 7 round magazine through it before topping off again. Yeah, it's a little tedious but I figure how many shots am I going to be taking when I'm out hunting? Time and some experience in the field might change my mind but, for now, I'm happy with the system I've got going. FYI, at 15 yards I can put all seven rounds into a quarter size group with several shots going almost dead through the ones before.

I get a big smile everytime I shoot this rifle. Light weight, Accurate, quiet, Good trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

tru glo open sights would be nice. Or just a contrasting front sight or globe front sight.

    What others should know:

Mine is .177 . Open sights are dead on at 20 yards right out of the box. I have not done an in depth test yet but this rifle seems not to be pellet fussy. I bought the .22 version about 2 yrs. ago and it was so loud I removed the supressor and installed an after market one. The supressor on this one is great. It is so quite, all you hear is the hammer and spring in the rifle and the pellet smacking the target.
