Looks like the real thing. With the rail adapter in place you can use the open sights.

Just a little more weight would be nice.

The instructions for installing the CO2 cartridge would apparently have one turn the screw in the wrong direction. A most have for those looking to collect replicas and/or have fun with far less expense and hassle than owning the real deal.

Super rad, super fun, collapsible stock.

They desperately need to make this in full auto.

Amazing product for the price. Plastic is high quality and feels great in the hand, I am very impressed. Magazine is also high quality plastic with a good weight to it. Easy to load bb's. I found the c02 easy to load to by just taking one pin out and folding the stock down. The stock feels sturdy and the gun is a lot of fun to shoot, very accurate even with the sub par rear sight.

Rear sight. Forget full auto or all metal build. I can live without all of that for the price and fun this gun offers but at least put decent adjustable sights on the gun. The whole point is to shoot on target. Other than that I appreciate this gun for exactly what it is at this price point.

This is a fun, fun gun to shoot. Semi auto feels good, I get about 3 clips per c02 shooting moderately fast. It's a great size too. I'm 6'1" and it doesn't feel like a toy or awkward to hold and bring up to target. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

Great small gun easy to carry decent blowback easy to learn and load decent accuracy for something of it's size

This gun is pretty fun to play around with, the flash hider is removable and the plastic outter barrel is of the standard MP5 3 lug design I was able to mount a airsoft mp5 mock suppressor and it was pretty sturdy though the plastic barrel being plastic and having other plans for the gun it didn't stay on long. The upper receiver and front grip are done pretty well IMO better quality than most airsoft AEG plus cocking the lever works the bolt (one of the few metal parts) and the gun is actually "blowback" in a sense as the bolt works every shot its pretty nifty!

the rear sights plain suck I swapped out mine with a better spare I had in my airsoft MP5 parts box, I also swapped out the front MP5k hand guard / grip on my gun for H&K SP89 front handguard which IMO is more fitting as this gun only semi automatic so mine a SP89 PDW

Metal parts are... Bolt & cocking lever, trigger, selector switch and base for folding stock.

The weight of the gun is perfect. The mag is quick and easy to load. Power and accuracy is great. Definitely worth the money.

Only change would be more precise and metal made sights. And for extra bb magazines to be available for sale.

As someone who buys mostly military reproductions I was very impressed with the appearance and feel of the MP5. Accuracy is very acceptable for an action type gun.

Maybe just a little more metal in it's construction. The co2 cartridge does not drop out the way I would it to. There's a little resistance to it preventing it too drop out. I usually use a long nose needle plier for removing but maybe in time and after some more breaking in time the issue will resolve itself.

Although construction is all plastic it is sturdily built. Trigger pull is a little hard but the again I never fired an actual trigger that wasn't, except if it was a sniper rifle. All in all, it is a fun gun to shoot and would be an excellent addition to any military enthusiast.

So many things. First I'd make it metal, or at least a plastic that didn't feel like I bought this at Toys-R-Us. The pistol grip is hollow and it FEELS like it. They gave no thought to the design of the stock what so ever and that shows. It doesn't even match the gun. The sights are difficult to use and non-adjustable. There are no rails to mount anything to. The gun, though it looks cool at a distance, looks like a toy up close. The magazine release doesn't work, it's just a static bump in the plastic, The real release is a metal latch that you can (and will) hit accidentally from time to time. How hard would it have been to make the mag release button functional?

This really could have been something great but I think too much effort was put into cutting too many corners. If you just want something to play with and have no real need for accuracy or quality, you'll be pleased enough with this. Frankly, for the money I think the AK47 they offer is a better value. It's just as accurate, just as plastic, but it's almost $30 cheaper - plus you can even get that in a kit with a carrying case!

The look, and attention to detail. I always try to buy metal guns, but took a chance on this HK because of the reviews. I am pleasantly surprised at the build quality and the fact that it in no way looks plastic unless you pick it up. Very little rattling and built solid. Also came in nice packaging with very good instructions.

I put a scope mount and red dot on it, along with a laser, and it surely looks the part. Love the way it looks and feel.

This gun is just lots of fun to shoot. I love the 40 BB capacity of the magazine. I don't understand other comments here about the magazine being difficult to insert. I have no problems inserting or removing the mag. While this is really a gun for plinking rather than target shooting I found it to be reasonably accurate at 25 feet.

I understand it's the design of the gun but the CO2 cartridge is something of a pain in the a$$ to change out. You have to fold the stock and remove a pin to drop down the back frame of the gun. It's also not easy to tell if you've successfully pierced a cartridge with this design.

The double action trigger pull is quite heavy so when target shooting I take it up half way before finishing the pull.

I like everything about this H&K MP5 !! Yes it is mostly Plastic but the gun with a folding stock, very short, good power & is pretty accurate.. The sight's are so so but I put a Dot Sight with Circle on it and can hit a 1" black patch at 20ft free hand. Very accurate with a dot sight or maybe a Laser !! 40 round Mag makes for a lot of shots between reloads, also like the lock on top of mag to hold bb's in so they don't roll out.

I myself would like at least a rear adjustable sight on this H&K for more accuracy.

This Gun is very fun to shoot !! Trigger pull is a bit hard but crisp, 40 round mag is just great for a lot of shooting at Target or just soda can's whatever you pleasure ? I myself wasn't very sure I would like this gun but I shot it last night in my basement so I could write this review. My goodness, with the dot sight I had a blast. Its very cold up here in the Northeast but i did get 2 full mags of shots in the cold basement. This is gonna be Great for summer when c02 can warm up. I like the Mag for this gun & made my own speed loader so refilling is fast !! Very good gun for the money and sure to please anyone who likes to target shoot or just shoot cans ? I would buy again if this one broke & I highly recomend this H&K MP5 K-PDW !!! P.A has the best selection of guns for us sportsman and are #1 for customer service and shipping. I also put a Nebo light on front of gun this gives me a lot of options for shooting. I hope this review helps some of you with your next order

this weapon just looks bada** !! rapid fire its lots of fun, 40 rd bb reservoir means less time reloading, great realistic look and feel, I like the feature that locks the trigger when you are out of ammo too, rips through soda cans , overall fun plinker,

needs a better way to remove co2 cartridges when empty, i end up tapping the rear of the stock till it pops uot a little to reach it. maybe im doing it wrong?? not much else negative to say

the looks is what sold me on this gun. price was not bad either.

Weapon is well built and shoots straight. Magazine is interesting. CO2 change outs are a snap

Accuracy drops off after 50 feet, but this is an SMG. Silly not to have a full auto feature, especially where this is Umarex.

Took a moment to figure out the folding stock. It's pretty, but get yourself an Umarex Steel Force or EBOS if you want full auto.

The sights are kinda crappy. Little glow on the sights goes a long way.

Might not enjoy it if you happen to be a LARGE person. It will feel silly and small.

OK so a lot of people get down in the mostly plastic construction but it feels sturdy and what do you expect for such an accurate replica of this size at this price. 40 rounds in the Magazine makes shooting this extremely fun. I found with mine to load C02 if you just remove the top pin you can swivel the backplate down and it makes loading them much faster and easier. I bought an MP5 rail and reflex sight so I can't speak to the sights. I do like that it has blowback and that the charging handle is functional (although it doesn't do anything). I've always wanted to rack and slap an MP5 like in the movies and this allows me to do that. Anout 75% of my rounds go right where I want but the rest do seem to fly pretty far off target. At 30 ft I can put 5-6 rounds in a 1" group then I'll have a round shoot three inches left, then back to center. Not a deal breaker by any means but it's not accurate 100% of the time. My brother in law used to give me a hard time for still playing with BB guns till I let him shoot this and he ordered one that day. This gun is worth every penny.
