    Things I liked:

OK so your looking at this and wandering is it just a novelty. Is it really worth the extra cost of ammo especially post pandemic scarcity? This is not your average break barrel, you can get a pcp filler from hatsan and tune the gun. If air leaks out you can reseal and refill this beast. I own a Gamo magnum and this is alot harder to cock. It hits with every bit of authority that it's cocking effort hints at. After you break it in the accuracy is very good. I believe this is from the heavier pellets it shoots giving it a stable shooting cycle. Mine enjoys predator poly mags and jcp hades. The poly mags do more damage on game but the hades are not easy either. For squirrels and rabbits it one shot lights out. Will easily handle ground hogs and racoons. The larger projectiles causes a larger hole and with almost 30 ft.lbs it will go threw with ease. If I had to shoot a hog with a break barrel I'd use this. Longer shots is not it's preference around 50 yards and under. A fine woods gun.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not a fan of the safety on the tang. I prefer it infront of the trigger. It has the auto safety as well, again not a preference but I understand why it's there. The bluing is not the best in terms of rust resistance. Keep it oiled up with some clp.

    What others should know:

This thing is build like a tank. With the tunable 'air spring' that can be resealed and refilled this will last a lifetime time. I coated mine since the humidity of Appalachian summers caused surface rust easily. With a coating of clp you can relieve this but I like mine in coyote brown with the black stock. The 30 caliber pellet drops faster then .177 so it's not a long range gun. 40 to 50 yards and under is it's sweet spot but I only use my irons. The glowing sights helps with dense brush. This isn't a plinker it's a hunter. I don't recommend this for a first airgun. I found the accuracy is not sensitive of holding as much as others. Use blue lock tight on the sights once you get them set up since it does shake. This can honestly handle at 50 yards what a 22lr can. It's a quiet option for small game hunting. I love this gun in the woods. Get a sling and a tin of pellets. This is one of my survival guns. I keep it ready if needed to bug out.

    Things I liked:

Very fun to shoot. Cocking the break barrrl is not for the faint of ..arm but doable if youre fairly strong. Accuracy was pretty good overall. Recoil is nothing like an actual firearm but there is a satisfying thump to it.

    Things I would have changed:

Right, things I would change. Well, first id fix my website so I dont get a pop-up telling me to use English whenever I try to punctuate anything (I couldve sworn id used apostrophes before in the half century Ive been writing English). As far as the rifle, securing it in the box for shipping would be nice but whatever. Hatsan is apparently notorious for lack of customer support which I can definitely second. This rifle was great for a year, probably took it out 10-12x so about once a month for an hour. Leaving it cocked isnt supposed to be a huge issue but regardless I never left it that way more than 20mins. Regardless when I went to fire it last it was totally dead, zero resistance/all pressure gone. No idea how sitting in a case in a closet caused that but it did. Bad seal? Who knows? Again, zero customer support and no available info on this model. Hatsan provides basic data for the 130 and 135 but Ive gotten conflicting info which piston the 130S uses. Anyone feeling helpful?

    What others should know:

I guess just keep in mind it could depressurize just for kicks. My only option besides replacing the entire rifle is a replacement gas ram from a guy on eBay, from Russia. Doesnt exactly overwhelm me with confidence. I dont have a plethora of 30cal rifles laying around so plenty of ammo going to waste too. I enjoyed the gun but any product that can spontaneously stop working is a bad product. Doesnt appear to be a common issue so more bad luck for me I suppose. Im confident I could repair it but again Hatsan provides almost no info on their products and certainly no support of it breaks months down the road.

    Things I liked:

I really like the quality of the gun. It's a hard shooter, it's a lot harder to cock than I expected. I was really impressed with the accuracy of this rifle fight out of the box. It's not too pellet picky so far.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a cocking aid for this rifle. Like the 1 that is offered for the Air Arms TX200. I am 61 and it's a little hard for me to cock.

    What others should know:

This is a heavy rifle but it's a quality rifle. Be prepared for a workout cocking this beast!!!!

    Things I liked:

Quality air rifle. I threw a hatsan optima 3x9x40 AO scope on it, right out of the box a few minor adjustments to the scope and I was shooting quarter size groupings at 50 yards. Everyone says its underpowered cause its 590fps, whats Going to hurt worse a ping pong ball going 10mph or a baseball going 5mph? I call bs on it being underpowered I would confidently hunt coyote with this pellet gun.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    What others should know:

Cocking effort is a lot but it is worth the reward. Mine likes FX 44.75 grain pellets.

Love the .30 cal break barrel. Puts out like 34 fpe . Amazing power over my. .25 cal Hatsan mod 135. Love the pistol grip and feel of this rifle. Very happy of the quality for the price. Nice rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Would have loved it if it were available in Turkish Walnut stock. My preference. Synthetic works well in the field as the Walnut is more easily damaged. Still wood stock would look cool.

    Things I liked:

the finish was better than expected on this rifle, you read good and bad but mine was good. The stock with the adjustable cheek rest is a nice feature and the ability to change the LOP with the included spacers is nice also. It looks and feels like its a tank in your hands and should last for a long time. I cannot speak about the accuracy since I haven't been able to go out but if this one shoots as the others do in the you tube reviews then I see no problem there either. I am looking forward to taking it out even though I have put two pellets through it to see what it would do to a 2X6 and to see if it functioned.

    Things I would have changed:

The thing i don't like about it is the rear sight, the notch is not wide enough for my eyes to pick it up(old age) but it looks like a little file in your hand with careful strokes will take care of that. If I loose the fiber optic rear I will not care so much as long as I have the front and it wears a s cope so that is no problem. I know it's a hard cocker and should break in but maybe something could be done to make it lighter I don't know but you will learn to live with it and I bought it to hunt not to shoot all day. the one thing I am going to do it to glue a piece of soft leather to the cheek rest or spray it will give it a better feel.

    What others should know:

Beware it's a big brute and a bit heavy, cocking is not the easiest in the world but thats the nature of the beast. Cost goes up because of the larger pellet and when you buy order from Pyramyd and get your free tin of pellets it will help the cost factor.

    Things I liked:

Its kinda powerful, but not as powerful as the advertising made it sound especially since its .30

    Things I would have changed:

The weight. Imma big guy and I found it uncomfortable to shoot from a standing position for more than 15 min. This thing weighs more than 9 lbs like the description says, definitely closer to like 12 lbs with a scope. So I can only shoot it prone or from a sandbag rest if I want to, you know, hold it steady and actually hit something.

    What others should know:

Yeah pyramid air uses FedEx to ship. Took forever and by the time I got it, it was beat to shit. Pyramid took no time to put even the most basic padding inside the box so I have a deep gouge in the barrel and even the tough poly frame has big chunk taken out and scratches all over it. I know they were offering this rifle on sale but tbh because of this experience and the poor condition the rifle arrived, I will not be purchasing from Pyramid Air again.

    Things I liked:

This break barrel is the leader of all break barrels. The weight and heavy pull is exactly why you buy a .30 cal break barrel, to get a manly break barrel gun. Its not even close to being any harder then using a pcp hand pump that can take up to 100 pumps or even more to fill and without all that extra cost and lugging around more unnecessary equipment. Sure its not as powerfull as .30 cal pcp guns but its on pair for me as compared to .25 marauder right out of the box. For the price point to shoot heavy lead, this is a gem. The synthetic stock with the pistol grip fits very well and the sights are great for what to me this gun is intended for, hitting game or targets with a thump at 30 yards or less but not to say accurate enough to reach out to 50 yards. The only downfall is that there isn't much pellets to choose in .30 and especially for it being the only break barrel that doesn't generate what pcp .30 cal guns do using heavy slugs and such.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing due to what it is meant to be, a .30 cal break barrel.

    What others should know:

I am a synthetic stock lover due to weight and worrying about nicks and stuff etc. I enjoy this pistol grip stock so much more then the wood one that I wish they could make it in .25 and that easily would be my next Hatson bought gun.

    Things I liked:

I have 2 RWS rifles. A 22 and a 25. Both are very well finished. The Hatsan appearance compares pretty well. I like the wood stock on the RWS but the stock on the Hatsan is by far more durable as far as a field gun. The safety and especially the trigger are completely on par with the RWS maybe better, too soon to tell. It hits VERY hard, much harder than either of my RWS rifles. Accuracy, I gave it 4 stars because I have not found what pellet it likes or the weight. I have never had a springer shoot well right away. They always seem to take time to settle in. After that they r fine..

    Things I would have changed:

Not really anything. It has a scope rail installed at the factory.

    What others should know:

Well here is the down. Cocking effort I would judge is from 50 to 60 pounds. , harder than either of my rws rifles. It surprised me when I first tried it. No problem leaving it around kids cause they will never get it cocked. After about 5o rounds it smooths out but still its a good bit stiffer than my 22 break barrel. Fear not ,if your in decent shape you will have no problem . If you want the power it takes some work. Go to the gym

Now a big paper weight. I bought this air rifle a year ago March. Took 3 coons with it. The largest took 3 shots. When I first recieved it. It wouldn't hit the target. Under 300 fps. Returned it. The returned rifle shot quite well. I let it sit over the winter. Around April new coons moved in. Went to take a shot and pellet lodged in the barrel. Piston went flat. Out of warranty. Probably cost more to fix than buying a new one. Very Sad. Loved it when it worked.

    Things I would have changed:

    Quality of piston and seals.

    Things I liked:

Power actually everything. My favorite of all my pellet breakbarrels!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing but the loose safety seems cheap but it isn't that was my only observation of anything . Maybe a metal safety a little tighter would b better in the long run? But I think Hatstan actually engineered it that way for the recoil? I'm not worried I've shot probably almost a thousand pellets. No problems.

    What others should know:

The one thing I have learned about Hatsan's I have gotten is to definitely lubricate the trigger assembly when new. I had with my first Hatsan a lubrication trigger issue but oiled and immediately fixed. I did the same with this when new and double checked the rifling to make sure that wasn't over lubricated which seems to b another uncommon Hatsan trait.

    Things I liked:

Feels really good with the thumbhole stock. It's pretty accurate with the 44s. Mine did not like the polymags! I have two tins collecting dust. My carnivore with its picky wheel mag won't shoot those either.

    Things I would have changed:

Figure out a way to get a little more power out of it. 590's just too slow. If you hunt anything other than small, small critters with this weapon then you are cruel!

    What others should know:

All in all it's a decent plinking rifle, yes I daresay it, plinking with a 30! Who would have thought as a boy that this is what it would come to. Yet to watch the tin cans fly around with authority is so satisfying. Yeah I know the ammo is really expensive for that, but if you're truly an air Gunner then you are used to just throwing money away anyway! Especially if you've ever bought a Gamo!!!!!
