That's just me I guess.
Things I would have changed:No reload capabilities. #1. #2 options. The bi pod like new England Air has. But it would be really nice as a barrel/air chamber connected to a a bipod acceptable weaver
What others should know:Be careful with the unlocking. Sometimes it still goes off.

After owning this gun for 10 months, it shoots 18.13 grain JSB pellets in dime-sized groups at 40 yards. I have only encountered one issue so far. It is crucial to be very careful when using Crosman hollow points in the JTS gun. I experienced a jam when I tried to force it in, resulting in the bending of the pin that pushes the pellet into the chamber. Despite contacting JTS multiple times, they did not respond to emails, and the phone conversations were frustrating. Eventually, I decided to bend the pin back myself, and now it works fine. I am currently experimenting with 100-yard groups and plan to purchase 21 grain pellets from JTS to see how they perform. Overall, I love the gun, but the JTS service is lacking. To be honest, the warranty may not be of much use. If you are looking for a great, affordable, and high-performing gun, this is a good choice. However, it is advisable to learn how to replace seals yourself, as JTS may not provide assistance in this regard.
Things I would have changed:Id like more shot count and JTS fix your cusomer service!
What others should know:The gun weighs 8 pounds and man its a tank I still love it though also get a size up if you get a moderator for it cause it will clip your moderator!

It is an accurate air rifle.
Things I would have changed:JTS management's ignoring of customers and their legitimate issues - see below.
What others should know:This is about a defective Airacuda Max and JTS' spokesperson, Travis Whitney. I purchased the Max on February 17, 2024. But because of winter weather in Rochester, NY, was unable to get it to a range before April. Once I began using it, it began to leak air. The leak became more obvious in May and June. I communicated with Travis many times, each time he suggested I perform DIY tricks but not being a gunsmith, and not intending to violate the terms of the warranty, I asked that his firm do so. After two times sending to TX, it still leaks air and Travis refuses to respond to phone or text. According to the terms of the warranty, I am owed a replacement. According to posts on social media, I am not the first person to have this trouble with JTS so I am probably going to have to elevate this matter to a more formal venue. I advise all those interested in JTS airguns to be very careful about purchasing anything they sell until they support their products post-sale.

The fact it's all metal and wood. Not plastic. Very accurate . I get about 40 to 50 full power shots per fill. Not very pellet picky but, jts 18.1 is the best I've tried so far. My pellets run an average of 955 fps and I get 1/4" groups at 35 yards and 3/4" or less at 50 yards off the tripod. Most accurate pellet gun I have ever owned. This is my first PCP. My Airacuda Max was the batch released in or about Apr-May 2024.
Things I would have changed:Need external way to adjust regulator pressure and power screw.
What others should know:It's definitely worth the money so long as the price does not increase. Currently $420. Maybe it will even drop opening up PCP airguns to more individuals. Customer service needs to improve, but it's still a new company. It will take a little time to get everything going and orginized. I also think JTS should look into a higher tank pressure. Currently 3200 psi is reccommended but have seen several others using up to 4500 psi with no problems. That would most likely bring count shot up to atleast 100 shots per fill with regulator set at 1,920 psi. (Caution!!! and NO! over pressure should be used unless JTS decides different) if they ever do...........

This rig was awesome right out of the box. It was consistently shooting a dime at 50 yards with a smooth and effortless side lever. The trigger is nice and easily adjustable, and the magazines are great. Also came with an o ring kit which I was really happy about. The Airacuda max has far exceeded my expectations especially in its price range.
Things I would have changed:It would have been nice to have a single shot tray available
What others should know:The barrel shroud is loctited on which isn’t an issue unless you find that out in the woods while trying to clear a barrel obstruction.

This is a very nice air rifle; I have no regrets on its purchase. For a larger size air rifle, it is balanced and feels good when shouldering.
Things I would have changed:I am happy with the JTS Aircuda Max, I don't believe I would change anything. It would be nice if JTS offered a barrel / caliber change to use with the original platform. This would allow you to own different versions of the same gun without the expense of owning several guns.
What others should know:This comes with two aluminum magazines that are among the best magazines that I have seen or used. I purchased the .30 caliber to use for pest control, the .30 is not a bench gun for targets,,it simply uses too much air. A smaller caliber such as the .22 would make a very nice target gun as you would get a larger number of shots between fillings.
This is a hidden gem and should not be overlooked.

Everything , I bought the 30 cal. and it is an amazing gun for the money. This thing is a tack driver a five shot group at 40 yards and you have a hole the size of a dime. I use the gun everyday eliminating tree rats and you can hit them anywhere with the 30 cal. and they are done.
Things I would have changed:Nothing really yeah the guns a little big and a little heavy but it’s truly an amazing gun very well made and I’m a machinist so that’s saying a lot.
What others should know:Mine is not that picky about pellets so I just use the JTS. You will need high scope mounts for the clip to go in. I used the 4 screws CVLIFE high.

This is an extraordinary air rifle. Heavy, but who hand-holds this thing? (You’d have to be quite strong.) The accuracy is what distinguishes it, Close groups, once sighted-in, inevitably result. I find the cocking lever has a “hitch” as you load each pellet from the magazine; perhaps this will diminish over time with use, but it does require a good “push” after the “pull” of the cocking cycle. The finish is a dull matte but can be tricked out with one of those stock oils, and I intend to do so as it is very nice to look at and a little gloss will make it even more so. It’s so accurate I might actually enter an old farts’ air gun match thing at my local gun club this summer (2024). I own 10 air rifles in various propellant modes and this one is exceptional. I won’t pay Two Large for an air rifle, however, so this one is technically “reasonably priced” and something of a top for me. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it. It’s validating to see those close groups in the scope.
Things I would have changed:Apparently the rifle used to be able to accept a moderator, but JTS began permanently attaching the screw-on end piece of the barrel. Rumor has it you can apply heat and the “lock-tite” might loosen, but I’d rather not risk harming the barrel. It isn’t quiet, but it isn’t like shooting a 30.06, either.
What others should know:I have had issues with two other rifles purchased from Pyramyd (not their faults) and they have been most accommodating about returns. KEEP YOUR SHIPPING BOXES AND PACKING MATERIALS “just in case.” And follow their return instructions specifically.

I just shot 80 .22 pellets this morning into four groups of about nickel sized at my 20 yard bench rest short yard range. it is highly repeatable and at these short distances the gun went from 3100 psi to about 1800 psi in 80 shots of mid weight benjamin single strike and h and n target and hunting pellets. It much preferred the Benjamin single strike for accuracy. I like the gun and have its brother in .25 as well. I thought a good value for the price. I bought a separate scope for it.
Things I would have changed:Not much. They did a good job. If there were anything I would suggest they do a better finish color on the beech stocks they use where it is made to look a little browner. I refinished both my .22 and my .25 stocks after I got them.
What others should know:I don't know that you will beat an FX Impact Mk3 or Panthera shooting slugs at 100 yards but if you want to have solid build, good quality, repeatable accuracy, this works. Love the magazines. Only one better is the new brocock flip open mag.

What others should know:I had an issue with a leak at the foster fitting. After 120 rds. Called JTS. They gave a contact number for repairs. I called left message. That didn't work. Emailed them. That didn't work either. A air rifle/compressor is only as good as their support. I will not buy another JTS product. I will go with a company that has good support.

It looks very good. The magazines are a great design. Foster fitting for air tank is very nice.
Things I would have changed:The design of how the stock joins with the gun itself. Remove barrel band. It’s pretty loud.
What others should know:When I received the gun, I attempted to fill it from empty with my hand pump. Come to find out that a hand pump isn’t capable of closing a valve inside the gun that needs to be closed so that the gun will fill. The first fill of the gun HAS to be done with a scuba tank or air compressor.
I had a major issue with my magazines not fitting because of the breach essentially bending when the stock bolt is snug. I called Travis at JTS and he sent me a block that goes between the stock and gun and this fixed the problem. This issue MUST be addressed by JTS.
I also had really bad issues with accuracy out of the box. I thought for the longest time that I had a faulty scope or that something was wrong with the gun internally. When experimenting, I removed the barrel band and this led to a huge increase in accuracy. It may have just been my gun, but the barrel band was pulling the barrel to the side and causing bad accuracy. JTS really needs to find a solution to this issue.

I was pleased that the accuracy was as good as the reviews indicated. The price (assuming a budget gun) is decent and I believe is a very good PCP for the money.
Things I would have changed:There is no Sling rings or Picatinny rail on the front of the stock as shown in some of the youtube reviews. Consider adding to assist in shooting experience. (sling shooting or bi-pod) The PCP is a bit on the heavy side, it takes a strong steady hand to freehand shoot from a standing position. Needs a bi-pod or bench-rest to shoot tight groups. The PCP is shrouded, however, it is rather loud and has aroused the neighbors attention. I would suggest a moderator/suppressor be added to reduce the shot noise level. The rifle stock is OK however I will refinish for a smoother more appealing look.
What others should know:I have not owned this PCP for very long (maybe 3 months) however, I am very happy with the purchase and the overall performance.
I purchased this PCP for target shooting and small varmint control. It seems to excel at both.

Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. Very consistent.shot to shot velocity. Very smooth side lever action. Affordability.. Nice wood. So far, my particular Max did not leak and does not leak.
Things I would have changed:I’d love to see a bottle as well as the tube, a Picatinny rail under the forestock, variable, transfer, port, sling swivels
What others should know:The 30 caliber version, in my opinion, is rather loud and not very backyard friendly. I recommend using a Ronin moderator. My particular 30 caliber Max does not clip at 35 caliber Ronin moderator. My particular gun likes JSB, Diablo pellets in 44.75 grains. I’m about to try various slugs and will update this review after I’ve completed that.

Very accurate right out of the box. Side lever is very smooth. Ready to move up to a big bore PCP? This is a must have!
Things I would have changed:The only negative I can think of: the magazines don't have an "empty-stop" feature. If you're not counting your shots, you don't know you are empty until you take a shot and it's just air. But with the quality of this rifle, it's not a deal-breaker.

Accuracy, velocity shot-to-shot consistency, smooth action, adjustable trigger, value
Things I would have changed:Better cheekpiece, Picatinny Rail on bottom of forestock, bottle option.
What others should know:I am enamored by the Max and I bought one in each caliber only to find, unfortunately, that about six months ago when I bought them, everyone of them clipped a moderator and therefore became unusable to me. I returned all three, the 22 caliber, the 25 caliber, and the 30 caliber. JTS who is/was in denial that there was a problem with moderator clipping but you can check all the forums including but not limited to Facebook and you'll see loads of posts about the Max clipping moderators. I absolutely love the Max because of their accuracy and consistency of velocity and many more treats. But since I shoot every day in my backyard I couldn't, especially with the 30 caliber, shoot without a moderator. So I waited about 3 months after I returned my last Max and ordered another 30 caliber Airacuda Max from Pyramyd Air, hoping that by now this serious problem would be corrected in further batches. Well thank Goodness, I was correct. The one I received does not clip a Ronin moderator.

Gun is put together well and is balanced. Side lever is the smoothest I've ever handled. Has plenty of power for small and medium game. Trigger breaks nicely. Etching on the grip and stock are really nice and comfortable. Gun shoulders nice. I like the shorter overall length and barrel. Gun is 41" overall and very maneuverable while hunting.
Things I would have changed:I don't love the cheekpiece. I'd prefer them to do a little moulding on it for a more comfortable and secure rest. Moving it up and down helps a little, but the screws aren't very secure and require locktite to keep from becoming loose. Gun doesn't love the cold. It handles better than some I have, but not as well as others. I wouldn't take it out below 20 degrees.
What others should know:Great value. Shoots nice. They just need to tweak the cheekpiece a bit.
