    Things I liked:

It looks very good. The magazines are a great design. Foster fitting for air tank is very nice.

    Things I would have changed:

The design of how the stock joins with the gun itself. Remove barrel band. It’s pretty loud.

    What others should know:

When I received the gun, I attempted to fill it from empty with my hand pump. Come to find out that a hand pump isn’t capable of closing a valve inside the gun that needs to be closed so that the gun will fill. The first fill of the gun HAS to be done with a scuba tank or air compressor.

I had a major issue with my magazines not fitting because of the breach essentially bending when the stock bolt is snug. I called Travis at JTS and he sent me a block that goes between the stock and gun and this fixed the problem. This issue MUST be addressed by JTS.

I also had really bad issues with accuracy out of the box. I thought for the longest time that I had a faulty scope or that something was wrong with the gun internally. When experimenting, I removed the barrel band and this led to a huge increase in accuracy. It may have just been my gun, but the barrel band was pulling the barrel to the side and causing bad accuracy. JTS really needs to find a solution to this issue.

    Things I liked:

I was pleased that the accuracy was as good as the reviews indicated. The price (assuming a budget gun) is decent and I believe is a very good PCP for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

There is no Sling rings or Picatinny rail on the front of the stock as shown in some of the youtube reviews. Consider adding to assist in shooting experience. (sling shooting or bi-pod) The PCP is a bit on the heavy side, it takes a strong steady hand to freehand shoot from a standing position. Needs a bi-pod or bench-rest to shoot tight groups. The PCP is shrouded, however, it is rather loud and has aroused the neighbors attention. I would suggest a moderator/suppressor be added to reduce the shot noise level. The rifle stock is OK however I will refinish for a smoother more appealing look.

    What others should know:

I have not owned this PCP for very long (maybe 3 months) however, I am very happy with the purchase and the overall performance.
I purchased this PCP for target shooting and small varmint control. It seems to excel at both.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. Very consistent.shot to shot velocity. Very smooth side lever action. Affordability.. Nice wood. So far, my particular Max did not leak and does not leak.

    Things I would have changed:

I’d love to see a bottle as well as the tube, a Picatinny rail under the forestock, variable, transfer, port, sling swivels

    What others should know:

The 30 caliber version, in my opinion, is rather loud and not very backyard friendly. I recommend using a Ronin moderator. My particular 30 caliber Max does not clip at 35 caliber Ronin moderator. My particular gun likes JSB, Diablo pellets in 44.75 grains. I’m about to try various slugs and will update this review after I’ve completed that.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate right out of the box. Side lever is very smooth. Ready to move up to a big bore PCP? This is a must have!

    Things I would have changed:

The only negative I can think of: the magazines don't have an "empty-stop" feature. If you're not counting your shots, you don't know you are empty until you take a shot and it's just air. But with the quality of this rifle, it's not a deal-breaker.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, velocity shot-to-shot consistency, smooth action, adjustable trigger, value

    Things I would have changed:

Better cheekpiece, Picatinny Rail on bottom of forestock, bottle option.

    What others should know:

I am enamored by the Max and I bought one in each caliber only to find, unfortunately, that about six months ago when I bought them, everyone of them clipped a moderator and therefore became unusable to me. I returned all three, the 22 caliber, the 25 caliber, and the 30 caliber. JTS who is/was in denial that there was a problem with moderator clipping but you can check all the forums including but not limited to Facebook and you'll see loads of posts about the Max clipping moderators. I absolutely love the Max because of their accuracy and consistency of velocity and many more treats. But since I shoot every day in my backyard I couldn't, especially with the 30 caliber, shoot without a moderator. So I waited about 3 months after I returned my last Max and ordered another 30 caliber Airacuda Max from Pyramyd Air, hoping that by now this serious problem would be corrected in further batches. Well thank Goodness, I was correct. The one I received does not clip a Ronin moderator.

    Things I liked:

Gun is put together well and is balanced. Side lever is the smoothest I've ever handled. Has plenty of power for small and medium game. Trigger breaks nicely. Etching on the grip and stock are really nice and comfortable. Gun shoulders nice. I like the shorter overall length and barrel. Gun is 41" overall and very maneuverable while hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't love the cheekpiece. I'd prefer them to do a little moulding on it for a more comfortable and secure rest. Moving it up and down helps a little, but the screws aren't very secure and require locktite to keep from becoming loose. Gun doesn't love the cold. It handles better than some I have, but not as well as others. I wouldn't take it out below 20 degrees.

    What others should know:

Great value. Shoots nice. They just need to tweak the cheekpiece a bit.

    Things I liked:

Build quality is excellent. All metal, including the magazines. No polymer or plastic anywhere. The side lever action is very smooth. Very accurate out of the box. I paid the "20 for 20". Scope mounted and zeroed at 10 meters. Out of the box it held zero past 50 yards. A couple of adjustments to zero to 50 and 100 yards. Hats off to JTS Airguns on this rifle. Engineering was well thought out.

    Things I would have changed:

The only negative I have is the magazines do not have an "empty stop" for the side lever. If you're not counting your shots, you don't know it's empty till you have a shot that is just air.

    Things I liked:

very accurate out of the box, no adjustments, shoots one hole groups out to 50 yds, one in. at 100 yds. thumbhole stock is nice, is ease to cock, best value anywhere for the money, customer service is very good, also it is very quiet. I love it.

    Things I would have changed:

needs sling swivels. mag need to be easer to load.

    What others should know:

my jts airacuda max .30 cal had a leak at the fill valve, I called JTS in Texas and Andrew said to tighten the valve witch I did. Know it fills a lot quicker.

This gun is a tack driver right from the box.. I got this in .30 cal and using the UTG bug buster compact CQB 3x9x32 A) Mil-Dot ir scope (also from pyramid air) and the JSB Match Diablo Exact 44.75 gr pellets after sighting in my scope I was putting 10 out of ten in a single hole at 35 yards (using a Caldwell bench rest).

Cocking is very SMOOTH. Using my Caldwell chrono I got 865 fps average between 5 rounds consistently. Ya, This thing hits very hard...

    Things I liked:

This review is about the .30 caliber Airacuda Max: Extremely accurate right out of the box and very consistent velocities. I found no need to "Tune" it. No leaks. Seems well made with smooth cocking lever. GREAT value!

    Things I would have changed:

Need a picatinny rail under forestock. Bottle option. EXTERNALLY adjustable regulator. Variable power/port adjuster,

    What others should know:

I have the .22, .25 and .30 versions, whle they are extremely accurate and consistent, my own experience with all 3 of them shows that if you put a moderator on them, they will clip the moderator. All 3 of mine did and destroyed the Ronin moderator and Buck-Rail, all one caliber up-sized. The .30 is VERY loud, I shoot every day in my back yard, accordingly, I cannot shoot the .30 caliber Airacuda Max in my back yard. Look at the Facebook Airacuda and JTS groups on Facebook to see more comments about the moderator issue. Pyramyd Air support is awesome, especially Adam and Ruth, but they have no information on solving this problem. JTS mostly ignored me and seldom gave me any answer that I sent to them via email. Pyramyd Air offered to take them all back for a full credit with prepaid shipping. It's distressful to send them back because aside from the moderator issue, they are awesome, but a moderator is necessary for me because I shoot 1 or 2 hours every day in my backyard.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, velocity consistency, fit and finish, beautiful stock and all at an unbelievable price.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish I could use a moderator with it and that it had a picatinny rail under foregrip

    What others should know:

I love the Airacuda Max. I now have 3, one in each caliber. Does that tell you anything about how much I love the Airacuda Max ? BUT, as of now, you cannot use a moderator with it even though the description says it has a thread for a moderator. There is no pic rail for a bipod etc under foregrip. There good groups for JTS Airguns and Airacuda on Facebook. Exceptional accurate (all 3 caliber versions) out of the box (after cleaning barrel and filling with air). I didn't need to "tune" or change factory setting. Trigger is about 1.5 pounds. I have never had a leak. I recommend Pyramyd Air's 10 for 10 service. Usually, airguns have a "favorite" pellet and that can vary between same make and model/caliber. Start with recommendations from Pyramyd Air and the forums. I recommend that you only by premium pellets, like H&N, JTS and JSB.

    Things I would have changed:

the safety is a bit stiff

    What others should know:

the muzzle threads dont want to unscrew i really want to put a suppressor on it but it just wont unscrew the safety is kinda stiff but it may loosin up over time

    Things I liked:

For what could be considered an "entry level" PCP, this rifle is an outstanding value! This rifle, paired with the .22 cal. JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13 gr. pellets, is an absolute tack driver. So much so, that I see no need in "experimenting" with other ammo. I love the side lever, which is smooth as butter. The adjustable cheek riser is a nice touch... something I'd not expect to see on a so-called "entry level" rifle. Well done, JTS, well done!

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not sure how big the air reservoir is, but a higher shot count per fill would be great. After filling to a maximum pressure of 3,200 PSI via my Air Venturi RovAir compressor (I'll be posting a review on that as well), I'm getting 35-40 shots per fill before the reservoir gauge gets down to 1,800 PSI. BTW, that is set at the factory. The option of an *adjustable* regulator would be the icing on the cake for me!

    What others should know:

There's a phenolic doughnut-looking part between the action and the stock, the hex head screw that holds the stock on goes through it. It evidently is used to raise the action up out of the stock about 3.5-4mm, although I'm not sure why that's needed. Be careful you don't lose it when disassembling!

    Things I liked:

Beautiful stock, super smooth bolt action, mags are very well made and easy to load. Couldn't find any plastic on this rifle. Love that it has the attached foster fitting.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be awsome if JTS could incorporate some kind of shot counter into the magazines. I'm just not used to counting my shots.

    What others should know:

Love everything about this rifle, however, when I pumped it up the very first time, the pressure gauge on the regulator maxed out, and when I emptied the tank the reg. guage is still reading 1000 psi. I'm sure this is just a fluke, so don't let this sway your decision to get one. Still an amazing rifle for the money. No regrets!

    Things I liked:

The rifle is nicely built. Great mags, nice finish all metal parts. Handles great and once you clean and then lead in the barrel accurate. Good shooter but does love air. I turned my hammer spring in about 1/4 turn from factory. Getting consistent shots at about 860. .25 cal 25.39 Fx pellets. Easy to reseal and work on.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe I would add a pic rail mount underneath the handgrip, stock. But it’s not a deal breaker.

    What others should know:

The rifle doesn’t like moderators. They will clip and shots go wherever they feel. Kinda bad considering it’s made for a moderator. But at 420.00, that’s not a deal breaker either.

Extremely accurate out of the box. It's a good idea to clean the barrel first. Very smooth action.

    Things I would have changed:

If something breaks and it's not covered by warranty you're screwed. You can NOT buy parts from either Pyramyd Air or JTS.

    What others should know:

You can NOT buy the parts from either Pyramyd Air or JTS. My trigger group in myI 25 caliber Max needed a small spring that holds the safety on or off. I could not get it from Pyramyd air nor GTS. I could not even buy an entire trigger group from either. It looks like I'll have to buy another one (entire Airacuda Max) just for parts.

I like that the gun is all metal construction throughout and the Woodstock is nice the magazines are very very nice the side lever is very very nice also.

    Things I would have changed:

Unfortunately the jts max I got if I added a moderator it clipped and it had horrible accuracy it wasn't terribly loud but it was loud enough that I kind of wanted to moderator and I was a little bummed that if I added one I had horrible accuracy but besides that the gun did everything they said it would do .......I guess if I had to nitpick I would want a Picatinny mount added to the stock for a bipod.

    What others should know:

One of the few guns that actually shot its own pellets really good.
