    Things I liked:

Rifle pumps up easily, has good power and is very accurate. Also is a nice looking rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights are plastic. I replaced the back sight with a Williams Peep sight, Although the sights were plastic they were still very accurate.

    What others should know:

This is a very nice rifle, shoots accurately and is easy to pump up. You should put "Lock-Tite" on the pumping mechanism screws as they quickly become loose and pop out. Since using the Lock-Tite I've had no problems. It is a fine rifle.

    Things I liked:

I like the wooden stock, added some tung oil. The bolt, action, barrel and thread adapter are all great. I primarily use the single load tray but will use the 7 round mag for 22 in the future. I cleaned the barrel, tightened the hardware and lubricanted the fittings. Overall, I really like this pellet gun, it's the replacement to the Sheridan because 5mm ammo has become rare and my favorite is no longer available. Out of the box plus a barrel clean and blue loctite on the hardware, this rifle is very accurate and lots of fun to shoot. The pump is easy to use and has the same pressure per pump from one to fifteen. I need to save up for some glass but the included iron sights are spot on until then. Considering what I paid for the Sheridan when I was a kid, this rifle is a very good deal and surprisingly well made for the price. Good Quality. I will definitely enjoy it for years to come. Thank you Pyramyd Air.

    Things I would have changed:

An included manual for the replacement of the extra parts bag, should the need arise in the future.

    What others should know:

The hardware on the forearm is loose, blue loctite and a little tightening before use is a good idea to prevent loss of parts, a light lubricant on the fittings and a cleaning rod thru the barrel prior to use to help with the packing oil.

    Things I liked:

Clean lines and a solid feel. Finish of wood and metal very nice for a rifle in this price range.

    Things I would have changed:

Bore of the rifle as received was unbelievably filthy. It took quite a bit of time to get things moderately clean. It appeared to me that the bore was oiled after the factory blued the barrel but that did not prevent a bit of after bluing activity on and in the barrel and other metal parts. Instructions need significant improvement. They lack important details. For instance, nothing was said about cleaning and absolutely nothing by way of a parts list and schematics. Extra o-rings came in the box but absolutely nothing about which is which and how to proceed to change them out should the need arise. Finally, much better directions should have been provided re lubricants and lubrication. Pyramid Air may want to consider supplemental instructions as they would help the new air gun shooters a great deal.

    What others should know:

Go ahead and buy a caliber correct cleaning kit and appropriate lubricants. You will need them right away. The rifle is capable of good accuracy and a decent scope will help to achieve the best results. Trigger is a bit rough but not terrible. Perhaps it will smooth out some with use. Pump effort is as claimed but was very stiff at the top of the stroke. It is improving with use.

    Things I would have changed:

THE STOCK PULL IS A LITTLE LONG FOR MY SHORT ARMS !!,PLACE OF SCOPE DID NOT WORK OUT FOR ME, I'LL TRY A RED DOT NEXT.

    What others should know:

IS WELL WORTH WAITING FOR ,WILL TRY VARIOUS PELLETS [.22] FOR BEST DOWN RANGE RESULTS !! SORRY TO SAY MY SILVER/BLUE STREAK GUNS WILL BECOME WALL HANGERS!!! YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS " PUMPER"

Very accurate, easy to pump, great feel and finish.

    Things I would have changed:

With the scope mounted it's a little difficult to load.

    What others should know:

Wow, what a wonderful, accurate pellet rifle, and it only gets better as it brakes in. Mounted a cheap scope and will be upgrading as this rifle deserve's it. The pumping effort is just as advertised. Should be a wonderful little plinking and pest control gun.

A little easier to pump than my other pump action air gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Not quite as easy to pump as advertise, stock needs a better finish.

    Things I would have changed:

Right now I cant think of anything

    What others should know:

This is fine accurate air gun. Best pump rifle I own. No recoil and hits hard in .22. As powerful as my break barrel Hatsan 135qe

    Things I liked:

The feel and finish of this weapon is what I expected. After reading the review on Hardair Magazine I just had to have one. They tested it with a bug buster scope and I did the same. Great groups out to 25 yards with a 14 grain pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

Just a learning curve, you have to cock this weapon before pumping. Nothing to change, it's just different than all my other pump airguns.

    What others should know:

The threaded end on the barrel kept coming loose. I really had to crank on it to keep it tight. Also, while I was sighting the scope one of the through bolts fell out of the forend. Easily fixed I just went through all of them to tighten the screws. Overall I really had a good time shooting this rifle.

    Things I liked:

Very good accuracy out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

Its function is listed as "Repeater". The function of a gun is to shoot. This gun no matter how many times you pump (3-15 times) you still will only get one shot. Therefore this gun does not repeat and the function is "Single-shot".

    What others should know:

This is listed as a "Repeater". It is not. A repeater in my and all of my airgun and firearm owning friends is multiple shots before having to reload/ re-prime/ pump the gun again. Not in this case. You have to pump the gun 3-15 times for every shot. On an engineering level this makes no sense when you can get just as good velocity with a break barrel or springer with just one "pump". It would make sense if you pumped it 15 times and got maybe 3-4 decent shots before you had to pump it up again but no. 3 pumps = 1 shot. 15 pump = 1 shot. Save your money and buy a decent springer or break barrel. A lot more fun and a lot less work.

    Things I liked:

Once you get used to the trigger it is very accurate. I like the fact that it can be de-locked by holding back on the bolt and pulling the trigger, then slowly releasing the bolt.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice to be able to pump up the gun without having to cock it first. I believe the pump could open a little smoother.

    What others should know:

The pump was extremely dry. It was very hard to operate at first. I oiled with silicone and it got better but it still is somewhat stiff to open. Hopefully this will loosen up as I keep operating it. It is a very sturdily built gun.

    Things I liked:

Other than the trigger, the rest isn't so bad. Fit and finish is pretty good. Nice piece of wood, although it was unfinished. The pump linkage feels a little flimsy, but the pump effort is so low I doubt it will be a problem. Open sights are decent, my eyes aren't so I scoped it. No problems holding gun by the stock wrist and pumping, effort is very light. Mine is .177, accuracy holds around 1" @25yds. I have a .22lr can that quiets it to almost complete silence. The magazine didn't interest me so haven't used it. According to my chrono 6 pumps gives me 696 fps vs 15 pumps 799 with 8.4gr.

    Things I would have changed:

The ridiculous example of a trigger.

    What others should know:

First, unless you are semi capable gunsmith DO NOT buy this gun until they get the trigger worked out. This trigger is an engineering disaster, I can't comprehend how things like this make it to market.

On my unit, like many others I've read about, the screw in the trigger backed out rendering it non operational. If you know what you're doing you can dig around and get it to fire, otherwise you are left with a loaded gun and no way to fire it. The absurdity of it all, this screw serves NO purpose whatsoever. It's not user adjustable, and it's not gunsmith adjustable to any relevant range. Since this trigger will never be a precision target piece, a simple bump formed in place of the screw would have been cheaper and 100% reliable. I would love to hear the reasoning behind this screw.

    Things I liked:

I may have gotten a lemon but it was NOT easy(ier) to pump and the pump arm was misaligned with the rest of the stock, possible source of the impossible pumping action.

    Things I would have changed:

    Quality control

    What others should know:

Dont believe its easy to pump.

    Things I liked:

Mine is .177 caliber . The features are really great , love the magazine , and the ability to moderate it . I mounted a Bug Buster 3x9x32mm with an offset mount and seems to work good and it doesn't hinder magazine access . The main stock seems very solid . Not much plastic on this one . Self sufficient airguns are some of my favorites . Just pellets and the rifle . A moderator does a great job to quiet this airgun .

    Things I would have changed:

Someone other than China should be making this rifle . The pump arm itself feels spindly and not well made . The wood seems thin in some places .Every time I pump it I'm thinking it might break. It's a great concept , but needs refinement . My Sheridan Silver Streak feels a hundred percent better , although taking three men and boy to pump , but at the same time you can feel how well made it is . There is just no comparison . USA baby !

    What others should know:

On my example the pump arm stick in both directions . ( MAYBE ) ? with use it might smooth out ? The pump arm itself locks in place so hard that it takes substantial effort just to open it . The video showing how easy it is too pump is misleading .At least for mine . If anyone has the same experience please share the fix . In the mean time I will continue to move forward and try more lube . If that doesn't work I will return it . Also seems to shoot all over the place , maybe barrel cleaning will help ?

    Things I liked:

The build quality of this rifle is amazing. It is a dream to pump. The 15th pump feels just the same as the 3rd. I bought the Crosman 362 when it first came out and I enjoyed it, but I wish I saved my money and just waited for the Dragonfly to come out! Easy to pump and accuracy is great. I get 1/2" - 3/4" groups at 40-45 yards with 18gr JSB's.

    Things I would have changed:

It has a decent two stage trigger, but some adjustments would be nice.

    What others should know:

Keep an eye on the screws on the pump/forearm. Throw some blue locktite on them and you'll be set.

    Things I liked:

The pump action is really easy, as described. The rifle has a quality feel like an expensive firearm. I've shot about 100 rounds so far with no problems.

    Things I would have changed:

A clearer explanation of now to adjust the rear sight would be helpful. I suggest that the manual be made available as a pdf on the Air Venturi website. As an inexperienced air gunner, I would like to see some suggestions or guidance on choosing a compatible scope.

    What others should know:

Read the review in Hard Air Magazine. This seems to be a really good choice for a pump action.

    Things I liked:

It's a nice looking rifle, and the pump really doesn't get any harder as you add more pumps. It seems fairly accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight is very difficult to adjust. It has a flip up/down motion that can't be prevented, which makes it easy to accidentally move thereby throwing off your sight alignment. This piece needs a lot of work. Also, after a little more than 100 shots the bolt started jamming. I can push a new pellet into battery, but I cannot turn the bolt down to lock it in place. If I can't figure out what to do to fix this I may have to return the rifle.

This rifle is lightweight yet powerful, is very easy to pump, and has great accuracy.

The rear sight dovetails should be lowered so that they sit in the same plane as the dovetails on the receiver.

    18JUN2022
Today, I promised to work on my wife's truck; but a mysterious package from PA showed up.
Hence, I had to take a bit of time to test my new .22 caliber Dragonfly Mark2 Air Rifle!
It's well over 100 with the heat index, so I just did a quick test: for 5, 10, and 15 pumps, I got 583 fps (10.1 fpe), 673 fps (13.5 fpe), and 699 fps (14.55 fpe) with the JSB 13.43 grain .22 pellets. Using the same 5, 10, and 15 pumps with the H&N FTT 1.4.66 grain pellets yielded 564 fps (10.34 fpe), 640 fps (13.32 fpe), and 674 fps (14.77 fpe).
Considering that this gun's not even broken in, I am well-pleased!
Especially nice is that it was no harder to put in 15 pumps than it was to put in 5; this gun is crazy-easy to pump; basically, it's giving me Sheridan power, but without the associated muscle to get it...exactly what I wanted!
My first shot, at only 20 feet, hit the "hornet" on the can of hornet spray; and at just 5 pumps, the pellet exited the back of the can as well.

    Things I liked:

Works as advertised! The first pump and 15th pump are the same effort! Makes for good long plinking session without getting tired. I got it in .22 and plan on getting the .177 down the road now that I've used it. Accuracy is as good as iron sights allow. I was shooting old refrigerant tanks from far enough away the the front sight covered them in my sights and still couldn't miss!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing so far. The linkage was a little sticky at first but after a little lube and break in its a breeze

    What others should know:

If you like old crossman and benjamin wood multipurpose you will be very pleased with this. I want to keep these in production by recommending them

    Rating 1.01.0 1.0

    Rating 2.02.0 2.0

    Things I liked:

It looks nice, and the trigger is not as bad as early reviewers have reported.

    Things I would have changed:

The metal linkage pieces in the pumping mechanism are very thin sheet metal, and the main joint is just slightly bent out of alignment with the compression tube. As a result it is 1) VERY hard to force the pump arm open, 2) extremely difficult extending the pumping arm (especially the last part of the motion), and 3) very tough to close the pumping arm. Pumping the Dragonfly Mk2 is very hard going in both directions, much harder than any of the many other multi-pumpers I have owned over the years.

    What others should know:

The two-way stiffness and jerkiness of the strenuous pumping makes the rifle practically unusable for anyone without super-human strength. The problem seems to be the thin metal used inside the pumping arm not staying unbent (even just out of the box), and no amount of lube on those joints will cure that manufacturing and materials defect. I very much wanted to like the Dragonfly Mk2, but mine is getting returned. Avoid this air rifle.
