    Things I liked:

I received my newest toy and it's accessories in perfect condition. Pyramyd Air communicated well with me durinThings I would have changed:

Several minor items: a) add another CO2 cartridge for a bit more power. b) rear site is difficult to adjust. c) add warranty and maintenance instructions to shipping container.

    What others should know:

This air rifle is light in weight and easy to use, making it appropriate for all age ranges. There is no blowback and the trigger is smooth. Nice gun for target shooting.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, smooth action, holds well, decent finish.

    Things I would have changed:

Reliability, add a silencer for backyard shooting like the Diana Chaser has.

    What others should know:

Unreliable, works just fine one day, sits for a few hours and suddenly expends all air upon the first shot on a new CO2 cylinder. I never left this gun loaded or with a CO2 cylinder in the air chamber, put a drop of oil on the end of the cylinder every few shooting sessions to keep the seals in good shape, but picked it up this morning after shooting through 3 cylinders yesterday and it expended all the air on the first shot, same result with 2 more cylinders, just put a new scope on it, so now suddenly I've got a boat anchor. Would not recommend the gun as it cant be relied upon to work for a very long time.

    Things I liked:

Happy I found this before I bought the Beeman QB78. There were only two left, and I got the next to last one. Likes: quiet 22 caliber, wood stock, adequate trigger, ease of use, Built in America. Once sighted in, ten 14g Meisterkugelns in around an inch at 30 yards. Spins the spinners, nails the Crosman squirrel, and does it all quietly. I get 30 shots before power drops off with an unknown manufacturer co2 cartridge I bought in bulk years ago for the kids bb guns. Its the perfect rifle for taking patient shots, having a conversation, listening to the ball game, having fun. Bought with the 10 for $10 piece of mind. Well worth it.

    Things I would have changed:

Rubber butt pad. Metal trigger and trigger guard. Come on Crosman, show some American pride and start making these all the way. I will pay for it, and I suspect so will others. Also, PA, tell Crosman to start doing a deluxe limited edition of the classics every year. A Sheridan in .20 would sell out fast if done right. Heck, make them a PAs exclusive.

    What others should know:

Its a single shot, single co2 cartridge powered .22. If that is accepted up front, as a bonus you get a nice wood stock, light weight, nice accuracy at reasonable distances (30 yds), a steel breech that easily mounts a scope, a much better trigger than you would expect, the ability to use a standard scope, and a fun, quiet, airgun that after dinner you can fire thirty shots, have some fun, and relax.

    Things I liked:

.......... the fact that someone is deliberately tanking sheridan's brand name....idk who sheridan tiicked off or what happened back in old-timey days , but this is almost as bad as me holding back my suddenly upset stomach wheni was the 'sheridan cowboy' , a complete p.o.s. bb gun that shoots those less than safe steel balls.

    Things I would have changed:

.... sheridan was ONLY made in 5mm..... if it was made in the last existence of america's best sporting air rifle company, after 1994 until 2010, it may have looked identical to a benjamin 397/392p , 397/392pa.... but if it was .20 caliber (5mm) , it was a cb9 , c9 for silver streak.... the ONLY EXPECTION was a few .22 caliber sheridan super grade model a's were made in the 1948-49 time of sheridans introduction to american good ol' boy history. if you had a sheridan , you were top dog admired in late 1970's and1980's cold war suburbs and small town rural areas south of fort worth....the only complaint then wa having to go back to fort worth to get the pellets from oshman's sporting goods inside the new shopping mall....silver streaks were $80 back then. $75 for a .22 benjamin 342 - which many got because of pellet availability. but those silver streaks are fetching $330+ for a nice one vs. $150-170 for a nice benji 342.

    What others should know:

... we as airgunners should campaign together and somehow resurrect SHERIDAN (as corvette is only true u.s. sportcar) america's premier, if not only, true sporting air rifle. i had to do this when sheridan vanished (i heard it over making the .20 cal pellets and those not selling as well). i was able to campaign with webley.usa and they made the .20 caliber webley value max rifles, which were the most affordable way to get into 5mm at the initial $170, and more powerful than a .20 beeman r9 (or hw95). right outta the box - over 800-840 fps with 11.4 grain h&n ftt pellets, which now cost over $20/ 500ct tin....now webley.usa seems vanished. .20 cal / 5mm (and .24 cal / 6mm, or airsoft cal) are perfect airgun calibers. they absolutely love the 5mm caliber brittian where power is limited. i just dont have the energy to fight against the airgun maifa , or who ever has suffocated this legendary american icon, again by myself. please help. - raneman feeling sad about .20 cal. vmx

    Things I liked:

I'd like to address a few of the negatives I see repeated about the 2260. Plastic: True - the trigger housing is plastic. But it's not brittle styrene type plastic - it's very solid flat-finshed polymer. More like what many handgun lowers are made of. I have no problem with it. 'Two x4 stock": Really nice stock, mine came stained dark and it looks awesome. The hand grip is rounded (No edges) but has a flat surface along the front. It could be rounder, but is well-suited to adult hands. I like it. I think it looks great and is a plus over the QB78. Sights: They are simple, but really well designed and easy to shoot accurately. That said, with the metal breech there are all kinds of after-market options. Shooting it: I put a crossbow scope on mine and was shooting sub-one-inch at 20 yards by the second CO2 cartridge. Also getting at least 25 good shots even though temps here are in the low 40s

    Things I would have changed:

Have Crossman be willing to sell me shorter barrels without having to buy something from their custom shop - their prices are fabulous! Bottom set screw on the barrle-band was loose...

    What others should know:

Pyramid Air's shipping is outrageously fast. This is a really solid feeling rifle that seems to shoot extremely well.

    Things I liked:

The whole package. I am able to harvest rabbits out to 30 yrds, along with ground squirrels. The rifle is accurate as I will let it be. I get 25 good shots from one cartridge. More than enough for a days hunt.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I have owned this rifle for more than a year and no problems. Light weight for carrying in the field. Trigger is very smooth and to me feels light.

This was a birthday gift, which the recipient was pleased to get.

    Things I would have changed:

The first order was "returned" to the warehouse without any notice. My first call about "where's my order" was left hanging. I was told they'd check and call back. Several days later, I called again, and then I finally got an acceptable response. I got fast shipping, a reduced price and free bonus for my ptoblems, BUT it didn't get the gift to the recipient on the birthday date. Not tremendously happy with this company by any means. However the second service rep I talked to was great, the first one was useless.

Accuracy, ease of loading, grooved receiver. Light weight.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock is like a 2x4. Not rounded off. Poor grip area. Finish is not that bad. I scoped mine as the regular sights are crude.

    What others should know:

Good value for the money. Under 1/2" groups at 15 yards consistently.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful wood stock, and accuracy is decent with the right pellet. Mine loves predator polymags but shoots a lot of others decently. It is a blast to take camping. Everybody likes shooting it from kids to experienced shooters. You also get a lot of shots per co2!

    Things I would have changed:

The sights that come with the gun are almost useless. But that's why I bought the Sheridan 2260MB. The metal breech is great for optics. The trigger leaves a little to be desired but is predictable after a few cartridges. The trigger group is plastic which is expected in this price range.

    What others should know:

You will not regret the purchase of this rifle. For the price it is completely satisfactory!

    Things I would have changed:

I put Williams receiver peep sight & a higher front sight on mine . I also exchanged the plastic trigger for a brass one , that helped a lot . I also added some adjustment screws to the trigger . All the info is available on line . The stock is made from some kind of lite wood ? Pine ? But , Hay , it's wood . Not a big fan of plastic stocks .

    Things I liked:

This is a very attractive and balanced weapon. It has lots of power for a CO2 and is very accurate. It is light yet feels right. I prefer shorter carbine like rifle and this fits the bill. It is very reasonable priced. It is not picky for ammo (light &heavy pellets). This is a very good choice as an entry level air gun for all ages, gender and general interests in air gunning.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear iron sights are minimalist. The plastic front sight is unremarkable. They are basic and good for about 25-50 feet. I replaced with an inexpensive BSA red dot and I can really hit my targets accurately.

    What others should know:

It is a little loud for backyards. I put a TKO moderator (5 inch) and it improved dramatically. This is a good buy and I highly recommend this purchase.

    Things I liked:

First off, it is a Sheridan. I had my first Sheridan 5 mm pump up Blue Streak when I was 8 years old. I have owned two other Sheridan 392's since then, one a limited edition that came with a mounted scope that has been a treasure. Turning age 70 next week, I decided that 62 years of pumping needed to come to an end, so I wanted a CO2. After mounting and sighting in the scope, I was easily able to get groupings inside a dime at 20 yards off a bench rest. I'm ready for the attack of the Zombie Tree Rats now.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change a thing although my name in Brass Script inlaid into the stock would be nice.

    What others should know:

What can I say, it is a Sheridan!

    Things I liked:

Good, light gun for 10-20 yards. Quiet. well worth the price Perfect for a 500-600 FPS rifle

    Things I would have changed:

    Longer bolt handle.

    What others should know:

This is one of the most accurate guns in my collection of 18. It gets 40 good shots to a CO2 cartridge. The CO2 chamber cap has course threads. About 1-2 turns to the bleed hole, so you are not twisting and turning 6-7 turns against the pressure, like you do with the QB-78. If a scope is added, use the raised mounts. It make the pellet loading so much easier. Get the 10 for 10 service. The gun arrived, packed like a pro packed it. The was clean, not like some I have received

    Things I liked:

Nice size and weight for plinking and teaching children. Very accurate to about 10 yards, but thats it.

    Things I would have changed:

The older models with 2 CO2s had much more power in 22 cal. Crosman claims this one does it with one but I highly doubt it from my personal experience. The power really drops quickly. With the sun at my back I could see the bullet drop at 35 yds by about 2 inches min. I bought this for backyard pests. Have hit a few squirrels and in every case they have run off. Hate that, as I dont know how badly they are wounded. Definitely do not recommend this gun for any pests.
