    Things I liked:

I just received my .22 rifle a couple of days ago. Mounted a CenterPoint 4x32 scope on it, and put about 100 rounds through it with .75 in. groups at 15 yards. It likes Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum 14.3 gr. pellets. I get about 30 good high power shots from a single co2. The rifle shoulders well, and its light weight makes it very easy to shoot. Although the loudness is rated at 4-medium-high, I have found it to be more like a low 3-medium, definitely backyard friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price point, I would have liked to have had better open sights, maybe a nice front fiber optic sight with adjustable rear sight. Also, a slightly larger loading tray, it can be a little difficult to load a pellet with the scope mounted.

    What others should know:

Remember to pause 30 to 60 seconds between each shot when shooting co2 powered rifles, as this gives it time to warm back up and gives you maximum power for each shot. Buy many, many extra co2 cartridges and ammo, you will not want to put this rifle down.

    Things I liked:

Add a $10 Tasco scope to this little plinker and you can hit empty 20ga. cases all day at 20 yds. Great value and more accurate than I expected (with right pellet, of course. Most RWS pellets shoot tight groups)

    Things I would have changed:

Perhaps a lower velocity as a trade off for higher shot count. 30 -35 at 560-580fps in .22 now , would prefer 40-45 shots at ,say, 475fps. After all , it's not a hunter it's a plinker !! I don't wanna kill BIGGER shell casings, I wanna kill MORE !!

    What others should know:

Stock sights are unusable. If you're HANDY, they can be tweeked, bent, twisted and otherwise modified to a serviceable form but it's not worth the effort. Scope it.

    Things I liked:

I bought 2 of these to shoot with my grandson. One gun shot 10 groups < .5in @ 10m among 16 varieties tried. The other shot 8.One shot 6 out of 10 varieties 1in or less@ 20yds and the other shot 5 out of 8 varieties 1in or less. The best group @ 20yds for gun one was a tie between RWS Meisterkugeln and JSB Jumbo Match Diabolo WC @ .68in. The other liked the RWS Meisterkugeln @.64in. Shooting in my 70 degree basement @ 10m gun one got 35 accurate shots while gun two got 40.All of this testing was done with the stocks clamped in a Rockwell Jawhorse. (A heavy rubber jawed portable construction site vise) And now, for the bottom line, and all I really care about for a gun in this price range,IT SHOOTS GREAT!! It's not a target gun but I (61 yo man who wobbles a lot with poor eyesight )can hit a 200ml SunnyD bottle(5inX2in) 40 out of 40 times @ 20yds with Gamo Match WC (avg 1.30"ctc @20yds) on one co2 cartridge. That is good cheap fun!! Cost of pellets and co2 = 1500+ shots for under $40.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights are horrible even at this pricepoint. The front sight in just pushed on and the rear snaps on the barrel. The sights can't be adjusted low enough or for windage at all.As delivered one gun's front sight was askew while the other had a crooked rear sight. Was able to pry and shift them enough to shoot as described above. Shouldn't have to, though.

    What others should know:

As always delivery was quick. When I was shooting at the SunnyD bottles it was all standing, off hand. I add this, not to brag,(I know it's not that great a feat) but only to emphasize how light, accurate, recoil free and easy to shoot this gun really is.It was at a measured 20 yards as well. With an actual tape measure. And with the crappy open sights. I have two 3x crossbow scopes ordered and expect that they will enable shooting at further distances. (won't be anymore accurate though since the vise removed any sighting errors) Hope this provided some practical info for other granpas looking for a gun to shoot with their youngins !

Pyramid Air is always a great place to shop deal on pellets alone is great reason to return. The Sheridan MB is a great lil rifle shoots hard straight and consistent as long as the one behind it can be... Unfortunately mine are just pretty good lmao

    Things I would have changed:

Wouldn't change anything it's great deal as is. Am gonna add a williams peep sight n hope it just adds to the lil holes we gonna make

    Things I liked:

It is pretty accurate with the right pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality. Badged under the Sheridan name, and adding 60 bucks to the cost over the crosman 2260, I would have thought this gun would have been made better. Tock had some bumps that when rubbed with my finger nail, completely took the finish off to bare wood. Beeman Crow Magnum pellets were hitting the target sideways at 15 yards. All other pellets tested shot well, with the no lead HN Barracuda Green pellets shooting pretty much through the same hole, and hitting 620 fps on my Chronograph. They are 12.35 grns. The Crow Magnums were hitting between 490 and 520 on the Chronograph. I may make power valve mods and see if the faster velocity will help the barrels rifling stabilize these pellets better.

    What others should know:

I was super excited to get this gun. Before I even shot it for the first time, the excitement quickly disappeared. The gun showed up with the barrel being turned so much, I would say looking straight down the barrel they were at the 11 o'clock position. I thought "how could this be" knowing that they probably produce these in a factory under pretty consistent manufacturing processes. Well, I pulled it apart, and it turns out the small fitting between the valve and the chamber was jammed in so that it wasn't even seated properly. good thing I didn't try shooting it right away. So after seating it properly and putting it all back together, the screw head in the chamber stripped out (it uses a very tiny allen screw). So if I need to pull this thing apart again It's going to be hell. Now that I got it all back together, I mounted a Redfield scope to it and took it out for accuracy testing and to test the velocity. It's pretty accurate. But heavier Beeman Crow Magnum pellets were keyholing.

    Things I liked:

Well finished wood and metal. Well packaged in double boxing by Crosman in plain brown cardboard boxes and held in place with foam blocks. Unfortunately my example cannot be sighted in with either the open sights or a scope of known quality (ran out of adjustment). Awaiting RMA.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sight is not adjustable for windage - a serious problem with the example received.

    What others should know:

I would expect most should not have a problem.

    Things I liked:

Great rifle, I wasn't sure if if I want to buy another co2 rifle after bad experience with Crosman 1077. Now... I love this rifle, glad I bought it. So much fun... Light, nice stock, my was accurate right out of box, did not do any adjustments to the signs and able to shot quarter size group from 10 yard in standing position very consistently, even with my pretty limited vision. Trigger is not perfect but acceptable. Getting 30+ good shots per co2 cartridge. So far I'm using chip Daisy flat-nosed pellets. Will scope it due to my vision. Did not use for hunting yet, just target shotting.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure. Most likely nothing for the price

    What others should know:

Make one dummy shot after new CO2 cartridge was installed.

    Things I liked:

well balanced. nice stock. very accurate. nice trigger. light weight. nice way to load powerlet. Very nice gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Longer bolt handle would be better when scope is used. Difficult to load pellet when scoped.

    What others should know:

Light weight makes it harder to steady. I only get 25 hi power shots from a powerlet. Bought this in Aug. 2015 for $199. Now it is $149 and not listed as "on sale" !! Clean the barrel before shooting.

    Things I liked:

I think this rifle has exceeded all my expectations. It's an extremely accurate, efficient and powerful .22 rifle out of the box. Very good handling and light, easy to load, and so accurate I put a 3-7X scope on it. Some informal testing with the chrono gave: H&N 14.66gr, Beeman 14.72, JSB Diablo 18.13 (all very accurate) and running 510 to well over over 560 fps, Beeman Eco 9.57gr gave close to 650 fps. Beeman Kodiak 21.12 gave 450-475fps and the point of impact drops accordingly but they really penetrate. I don't like cheap sights or plastic but the trigger works very well and the sight picture was very good for older eyes - the excellemt results with the iron sites made me scope it. With airguns, I've been using a Crosman 1400, 38T/C in .22 for over four decades and more recently the 2240 and Remington 1911rac for fun. The Sheridan is a new favorite and in comparison to all the above - it's quiet and lacks a sharp report of my other airguns despite the velocity.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much I'd change - adjustable sights for young eyes and keep the price closer to the $150 sale price. The waxy and dirty looking rust inhibitor will clean up over time.

    What others should know:

It's a fantastic value - accuracy is really surprising and it is powerful. The metal breech is worth it.

    Things I liked:

I received my rifle FAST - Thank you, Pyramid Air! It shoots good, and is accurate enough - WITH A SCOPE (not included).

    Things I would have changed:

The stock rear sight is HORRIBLE! it is stamped steel, and isn't even deburred on the back side. It is not adjustable for windage (left to right). AND YES, I NEEDED TO ADJUST MY RIFLE FOR WINDAGE! The front sight is plastic, and came off easily. The finish on the stock is worse than HORRIBLE! Mine has deep sanding marks, stain was spotty and VERY dark - I'm guessing to hide the shoddy workmanship. I am going to strip, fill, and re-finish my stock to fix it. Sheridan needs to stop saying MADE IN AMERICA - it's EMBARRASSING!

    Things I liked:

Accuracy with heavy pellets. When I say I like the accuracy; you have to realize that this isn't a competition type of rifle. For what it was designed for the accuracy is pretty good with the right pellet. Simplicity and classic looks. Value for the price. I take m son and his friends shooting with two of these rifles. You've never seen kids have as much fun with air rifles by just shooting tin cans and steel targets as with these guns. They tell me that it's better than video games.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price, your are getting a good rifle. So there really isn't anything that needs changing. You can add sling swivel studs and it's great for carrying on long walks through the woods. Like I say below; before this rifle was offered through Pyramid Air I bought the Crosman version. I had to remove the barrel spacer and hone out the barrel band where the barrel goes through. Basically, I free-floated the barrel. That improved the accuracy a lot. However, don't do this until you've shot it a lot with different pellets as the modification is irreversible. I wished that Pyramid Air was selling this rifle when I purchased the Crosman version as I would not have had to do a lot of modifications. This one has the steel breech and Crosman's doesn't.

    What others should know:

Before Pyramid Air offered this rifle I had to go to Crosman to get this rifle but it had a plastic breech instead of the steel one that Pyramid is selling. So, I had to purchase the steel breech separately and install it myself. You are better off purchasing this one from Pyramid Air. Believe it or not but I ended up using a crossbow scope (4X) on this rifle. The reason I did that was because the parallax for a crossbow scope is set at 20 yards. Too many shooters think they have to have a scope with a zoom adjustment. Keep things simple with this sort of gun as you don't need a scope with a large magnification factor. I found that the best groups are obtained with these pellets: https://www.pyramydair.com/product/h-n-baracuda-match-22-cal-5-52mm-21-14-grains-round-nose-200ct?p=837 From a good rest at 20 yards I was getting about 1/2 - 3/4 inch groups. Depending on temperature you can get 30-60 shots. I'm able to hit tin cans at 40-50 yard easily. Lot's of fun.

    Things I liked:

The feel of the rifle is good, and it is accurate, if you work at it.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights are less than stellar, plan on getting something better. They hold the accuracy down. The bolt is rather sloppy, it works well enough, but it is not solid in position.

    What others should know:

A good gun to teach someone to shoot, and the 22 can buck the breeze a bit at shorter ranges. Overall a nice little gun.

Very nice balanced rifle, not too heavy not too light.Shoots very accurately with 4 power Beeman scope I installed on it.Punches holes through both sides of soup cans with lead ammo.Likes Crossman premier ultra magnum hunting pellets solid dome.It is very quiet and has zero recoil.I can shoot groups under a dime at 40 feet with ease. This is now one of my favorite air guns.I like the ease of cocking with a bolt instead of a break barrel. The wood is nicely stained dark brown and metal parts are nicely blued. It even has some nice grain in the wood stock. This would be a good gun for younger shooters because of weight and stock dimensions.I am 6'2' but this rifle fits me fine.A great CO2 rifle anybody would like to own.

    Things I would have changed:

Put better sights on it,and a metal trigger.

    What others should know:

Great gun for plinking in the back yard and target shooting.Any air gun collection should have this rifle.I am very pleased I purchased it with no regrets.Just remember to scope it.

    Things I liked:

Not much. I was very disappointed in this rifle. I thought the Sheridan name would mean I'd be getting a really nice shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights were very disappointing. The rear sight sadly looked like it came from a low end BB gun. OK, I had planned to put a red dot or scope on it anyway, but still. The trigger is plastic. PLASTIC? And there was no shoe available to hide it. The stock had a flat finish on it, and the stain was very dark, I thought much darker than the pictures. There was no way to change the way the rifle felt in my hands, which was not very good. I just could not get comfortable aiming it. I ended up not firing the gun at all and sending it back to PA.

    What others should know:

I want a nice .22, and for $200 list, this wasn't the one. I have a QB78 which is by far the better rifle at about half the price. I think the 2400KT custom from Crosman might be the way to go for me. Reading the eight part series on the Crosman here on the PA web site has me convinced. PA is always very accommodating and I thank them for that. I've been back into airguns just a few months, and based on their service, selection, and prices, PA is my go-to supplier for everything going forward.
