    Things I liked:

Accuracy, great stock, good trigger, very easy to hold, because of the great stock

    Things I would have changed:

As everyone says, the sights, but I put on a cheap scope.

    What others should know:

This gun is accurate! It will put 5-8 jsb 13.43 grain pellets through a.25 inch hole,at about 23 yards. The backstop is half inch particle board, and it makes clean holes through it. I used a TECH FORCE 3-9x32 scope with medium mounts. The gun is not cheap, but it is good value, and is a winner! Lynn .

    Things I liked:

light weight and metal breach with scope rail.

    Things I would have changed:

sights like the ones on the Benjamin Discovery.

    What others should know:

For about $60 more, you can get a Benjamin Discovery PCP/CO2 rifle that can be loaded from a bulk CO2 canister or later add a PCP pump. The Sheridan 2260BP and the Benjamin Discovery are almost identical except for better sights and a longer gas tube on the Discovery. The Discovery is a much more powerful air gun and more suitable for hunting plus the advantage of being either PCP and CO2 powered. If you are just going to shoot tin cans and spinners in the back yard, the Sheridan 2600MB is a fine rife. If you plan to hunt or just want a very fine and more powerful PCP/CO2 rifle, then spend the extra $60 bucks and get a Benjamin Discovery and buy small CO2 bulk tank and charging adapter. Most sporting goods stores can recharge the CO2 tank for you. If you enjoy all kinds of air guns as I do, then buy one of each.

    Things I liked:

This is a well made (Made in USA!), very accurate CO2 rifle. The stock has a nice finish and is well sized for small to medium framed people. It has a good trigger. The rifle shoots smooth with no recoil, and I've found it to be accurate to 35 yards with the right pellet. It produces 30 - 50 high power shots per cartridge (depending on temperature), before the POI starts to drop (when shooting at 25 yards or more).

    Things I would have changed:

A metal trigger blade would be nice.

    What others should know:

Get this while it's still available. I added a UTG 4x32 scope and an HPA sports muzzle brake to protect the crown (and make the rifle look cooler!).

    Things I liked:

    22 caliber. All wood stock.

    Things I would have changed:

Scale of the rifle. I think it's small.

    What others should know:

I like the number of choices in 22 caliber.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, good trigger. Out of the box I put five CPHP in a half inch group at ten yards. It will probably do better when it is broken in with it's preferred pellet. The trigger can be tuned with little effort and be even better.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight -- it is not fully adjustable. There is a version of the 2260 with the plastic breech and an adjustable rear sight which is reasonable for this rifle.

    What others should know:

This is a nice lightweight plinker which is easy to shoot. The price is high compared to other air guns that are in the same category.

    Things I liked:

Like many others I learned to shoot with a Sheridan rifle. I saw the limited edition rifle and bought it on sale. According to the manual it is offered in .177 and .22 so I don't know how limited an edition it is but... I own a dozen or more air rifles (from $$ to $$$) and since I bought this one I seem to be shooting it more and more. Like yesterday the wind was blowing 20 to 30 here, too much for accuracy testing so I grabbed the Sheridan and started plinking away. I was shooting boxed Crossman's then I started running out so (yes all 600 rounds in a month) I happened to grab the Barracuda match pellets and it shot pretty good, I think it likes those pellets and the spinners do too. It's accurate enough ( I was getting good groups at 20 yards even with the wind, I will play around with it on a calm day to see just how accurate soon) I would rate the trigger as good, its overall a nice rifle for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights that come on the rifle leave a lot to be desired. You have to buy it with changing them in mind. Also the rear sight sits up pretty high so you will need high scope mounts or you can pop off the rear sights (yes it will leave scratch marks on the barrel) Its also on the medium to loud noise scale.

    What others should know:

I need to hire someone to sit and count the shots per cartridge, I always forget when I start having fun. but it gets a decent amount and you will know right away when it needs to be changed as it drops off a lot. I read the reviews before I buy and I would give this rifle a good one. It's a great plinker,(and as long as you buy it with that in mind I think you will be happy) it is .22 so you can shoot heavy pellets on those windy days, it's light weight all metal and wood and reasonably priced. (buy the big box of co2 and a lot of pellets and have a great time!)

    Things I liked:

Wood stock, accuracy, nice bolt action, .22 Cal, powerful, nice finish, good trigger, and light weight (not too light so it feels real). I don't know how long will a CO2 cylinder last as I did not go through a full one yet. 5/6 We do not recommend keeping co2 charged for more than a couple of hours to avoid damaging the seals. Dan @ Pyramyd

    Things I would have changed:

Make it take two CO2 cylinders instead of one so it would last longer. However, I don't mind changing it as it's really easy to change it.

    What others should know:

If you are looking for a bolt action, CO2, and wood-stock in a rifke, this is the one for you. There aren't many options out there. This is becoming one of my favorite air guns (and I have many).

Everything but the sights, like always they are horrible. I removed them once it arrived.

    Things I would have changed:

    Sights.....

    What others should know:

Nice and accurate, a good gun to pass down. sub par sights.

    Things I liked:

Good accuracy, however it is not worth 199$ - by a long shot. Rear sight is NOT fully adjustable and the manual shows the 2240 sight on the rifle. This is NOT the rear sight the rifle comes with. It is also only height adjustable, unless you use pliers. This is the super primitive 1958 style sight.

    Things I would have changed:

Spend 100$ more and get the Hammerli 850! Spend less and get the Fusion! Spend even less and get the XISCIO 60c. Mine is going back tomorrow, got it today.
