The look of it.

FPS -

The gun simply does not fire at the advertised speeds. I had mine tested on the weekend and was lucky to get any over 380fps, which is down 320fps on the advertised speed it can shoot at. Even tried different makes of pellets, some were down to 280fps, which is then less than 1/2 the advertised speed. Gun jams often too, especially when inserting the clip. Not happy with Sportsman Gun Centre for telling me this would be a good gun that has nothing bad to say about it! Taking it back today for a refund, not fit for the purpose it was bought for.

I have my ASP MCX just over a month now and already put 2000+ pellets through it. Not a single jam or any other problem. Accuracy is good, using folding sights or red dot. but lacking a bit in power for longer range target practice. I would not recommend for pest control. The look and feel of this rifle is extreamly realistic.

Feels like the real thing. Very accurate and relatively quiet. I have only shot deer to keep them out of my wife's flowers. This is by no means is a gun you would use to go after deer. This gets their attention and it is legal to shoot in the neighbor hood. I have ordered a night time scope to discourage the raccoons. Really not trying to kill these animals, but this rifle does keep them away.

I would like to see this rifle offered in a more powerful caliber

This looks so much like the real thing, you should carry it in a case when in public.

I shoot in my basement. It's fun.

Solid construction, good heft, nice balance, overall a well made replica.

Nothing

Wow.....this gun is just totally awesome....and it puffs a little (smoke, co2 whatever you want to call it) with every shot, very realistic.

Realistic, heavy, and fun to shoot. The gun is not so powerful which makes an amazing plinker.

Jamming. The gun keeps jamming while shooting. I havent tried anything else than crossman pellets but they keep jamming which is really annoying.

The gun is accurate enough to knock down a soda can at 15 yds.

Living in England,with strict firearm controls,it was great too be able purchase this Epic little semi auto rifle.Great fun,and great aid in teaching the less experienced in firearm safety.Hours of plinking fun,and a great little ratter,with the right attachments,of which there are too numurous to mention,with thanks to the endless variation of piccatinny rails attached to rifle.Stock up on gas and ammo though.Not a bad thing!!!

I bougth this product and then 8 months later, the gaschamber stoped to work. When you put a gasbottle in the airgun the gas just slip away.

This is a great fun also great non leathal home defense.

I've had my mcx about a month now and so happy with it

Bought and it locked up after 9 shots had to send in for repair. Was sent a new one but we bought it to control rodents and it won't even kill a squirrel. Niw is starting to kick up again. E are using dig saur cartridges.

I bought this to hunt for rodents around the farm.

Looks and feels realistic. Easy to modify and change out parts to suit your person taste.

More power

Ive owned this gun for almost two years now. Ive experienced a couple of problems over this time, but realized that most were of my own doing. Once I learned the nuances of this gun it has been nothing short of dependable fun. I have modified it to shoot 12g co2 cartilages, added rails, installed a buffer tube, and many more add ons/adjustments. Love this gun!

My SIG MCX Air Rifle is the Most accurate rifle for squirrel and rabit hunting that I have ever owned. Targets within 40 yards don't have a chance. Recently I took it on a bow hunt - where I used it from my camp site to plink at squirrels and chip monks. I took it out on a grouse hunt and harvested more grouse than with my shot-gun - and without all the mess that a shot-gun can yield. You have made a great product. I wish it had a full-auto option like some of my BB guns.

Have had the gun for about month and have had zero issues. So nice to have a exact copy of the real gun to practice with.

I received mine about 3 months ago. The box it came in told me there’s quality in there. I was right. This thing is really freakin sweet. I put about 300 rounds into a fried 47” flat screen. It’s really accurate right out of the box. It takes a little gettin used to but I purchased the high pressure tank and I can’t wait to try that.
