    Things I liked:

Realistic weight and feel. Strong blow back. Love the double ended magazine.

    Things I would have changed:

Adjustable rear sight and make it field strippable

    What others should know:

When you install co2, close the handle with a firm quick motion

    Lots of fun. Quality construction

    Loads of fun to shoot.

Sometimes it shoots blanks when the CO2 cartridge is getting low.

Weight of this gun feels amazing. It is very accurate with or without the red laser sight. Blowback is so quick you need 2x slow-mo to see it. 100% worth the money and I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy a new pellet pistol.

    Things I liked:

Looks and feels so much like the real 9mm pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine 20 round belt fed is a disaster. My first 20 rounds gun jammed 7 times. Who wants to drop the magazine each time if possible to check pellets. I found that a . 177 cleaning rod gently pushed into the barrel will sometime let you push back the jammed pellet, then you gotta drop the magazine and dispose of that pellet. VERY AGGRAVATING!! But I really liked the feel of the gun so I kepted it about 2 more weeks and tried to shoot it on the weekends. I finally tried adding a drop or two of gun oil to help the belt feed move more freely, no good. So I'm thinking I'm gonna send it back next weekend. But by then I had a pellet jam in the barrel unknowingly and tried to shoot again and it jammed. It was while trying to push the second pellet back so I could drop the magazine I couldn't because the other pellet was jammed in the barrel. Now I could not even drop the magazine and I couldn't use my push rod because the pellet in the barrel was completely stuck. Paper weight now!

    What others should know:

When Sig Saur fixes the belt fed pellet problem I'll order me another one. Very high quality but poor design with the belt fed delivery for the pellets. I sent mine back for a refund. Make sure when buying there is at least a 60 return policy.

I like the feel and weight of the gun. My one complaint is when I attempt to fire several shots in a row, sometimes it doesn't always fire right away, almost like a hesitation.

    Nice replica!

Fun replacement for the real and feel of this model. Nice little plinking gun to enjoy the need to aim and shoot!

Looks the part, just doesn't act it

My p226, although it looks the part is just a paperweight, barely enough power to puncture a cardboard box at 6 feet and it is a single shot only because the magazine does not advance leaving me to drop the mag and advance by hand each time.
I have tried to get an RMA but have been ignored.

    Bought 2 ... not good

I bought the P226 Air gun to practice shooting at home (in addition to dry firing). I bought this gun because I own an P226 Legion and I wanted an air gun that resemble my original gun. I ended up buying two air guns because I broke the first one (or wasn't it my fault? ... keep reading).
    - Look and Feel: The air gun looks and feel (especially in terms of weight) like the original P226. The trigger pull is okish ... meaning that the double action is quite off (i.e. it's lighter in the air gun than the firearm), but the single action is close. Reset is also close enough.
    - Precision: Velocity is not constant because it's a factor of the CO2 cylinder ... the newer the cylinder, the faster the pellet. You need to get used to it.
    - Reliability: Terrible ... absolutely terrible. I can't shoot 8 rounds in sequence as they get stuck in the magazine. I think temperature plays a role as the metal pellets expand with heat. I am in Atlanta ... you can imagine that the gun stops working after the first/second reload outside. Moreover, I said above that I broke my first gun ... here's the caveat: the gun might not shoot for 2 reasons ... because the pellet gets stuck in the magazine or because it gets stuck in the barrel. Because most pellets got stuck in the magazine, I didn't check the barrel of my first air gun after every shot (thinking they didn't leave the magazine). Eventually, after a few rounds I realized that the pellets were stuck in the barrel. I tried to remove them with a rod, but I couldn't and I had to through away the first air gun.
Long story short, I suggest you look for a gun that can be field stripped ... probably the airsoft P229 (even through I haven't tried), but for sure avoid this P226 air pistol.

    Not a proper sig

What a crapy magazine mechanism. If by any chance is any play between the pellet and the chamber it get stuck. If you use a holster that ain't loose it gets inject and stuck. It could be just a pain if you could field strip it but alas. Thank god the local dealer is good but still ain't fun to use. I have a feeling that ain't very consistent in accuracy but I can't really use it much.
