the weight and feel. The way co2 is loaded is something all the manufactures should copy.
Things I would have changed:the slide can not be removed for internal cleaning and lube.
What others should know:keep the mag well oiled.

I recently purchased the X-Five and was testing different pellets. After about 200 rounds with no issue I used a different brand pellet and experienced a jam about 8 rounds into a magazine. The ONLY (and easy) way I found to fix the problem was a video online. What happens seems to be that a pellet is pushed partly out of the belt and now the gun won't fore and the magazine won't eject. At this point the jammed pellet needs to be pushed back into the belt. This is easily done with a wooden skewer or other small dowel. This seems to be an important tool for your bag. The first time this happens all you need to do is take the skewer and gently insert it into the barrel and gently push the pellet back into the belt. You can feel it click in and it will only need to be pushed a 1/4" or less. I now have a marked skewer for this purpose. Insert a loaded magazine and push the skewer in until it touches the pellet and then with a Sharpie mark the end of the barrel for a Jam reference.
Things I would have changed:I have done tests and the jamming issue seems to be a pellet issue. I have shot 8 different pellets of different weights in different magazines and found 2 that jam regularly. Both seem to be a little tighter fit when pushing into the belt. If you find a pellet you like and it doesn't seem to have jamming issues stick with it. Other than the jamming issue which seems quite common and now you know how to fix it, this seem to be an excellent gun.
What others should know:While I am still learning X-Five, I am keeping an extensive log on my opinions of the accuracy and jamming of different pellets and magazines and you should too until you settle into what your favorites are.
I have also found I can get over 100 shots out of a CO2 cartridge just give it time to recover occasionally.

Got mine on 07 Feb 21. I like it. Feels good in my hand. The weight is very close to the powder burner. The adjustable rear sight allows you to shoot point of aim. Shooting POI is much more enjoyable than compensating all the time with some of the other replica handguns I have. Having read the negative points in other reviews I find that I'm very lucky getting a good example. I have not experienced any jams. I do seat the pellets in the belt mag. I am shooting N&N Excite Econ II .177 cal, 7.4 Grain, Wadcutters, Pyramyd # H&N Excite Econ II 4.5mm.... They are inexpensive and the accuracy is around 2.5 inches at 18 ft. offhand. They fit snug in the belt mag but not too tight. Just tight enough that they won't fall out when seating them and shooting. The trigger pull is a bit different in that the first stage is moving the belt mag to the let off point and just a bit more pressure will discharge the round.
Things I would have changed:A bit faster FPS.
What others should know:I don't have measuring equipment, but the weight of the trigger pull is not objectionable to me. Testing for gas leaks; it holds air for at least two days probably more, but I don't let it go beyond that. I have occasionally left a round in the mag, and I attribute this to short resetting the trigger. I have emptied a tin of 500 rounds with zero problems and started a second tin. I will be looking for a holster. Did I mention I like it? If you have small hands, you may want to consider another pistol. No sense being disappointed. The X5 is large. Always buy extra mags. I will be looking for a holster.

Realistic feel. Adjustable sights. Blowback feature good for firearms training.
Things I would have changed:Better accuracy. Slide lock back after last round. Double action for first round.
What others should know:I was reluctant to make this purchase because I read many views that the gun and the magazine were prone to jamming. I have shot hundreds of rounds through this gun so far with wadcutter pellets and have not encountered a single jam. I was also pleased that I can shoot over 60 rounds on a CO2 to capsule. With the blowback feature I was not expecting to get that many shots from a capsule was pleasantly surprised. Not a target gun by any means but a good trainer for firearms. The adjustable site is a huge feature I am very surprised that more replicas arent available with Adjustable sights.

I purchased a Sig X-5 air pistol, Sig pellets, and Sig CO@ cartridges.. I finally got around to shooting it. Out of the box the sights were off quite a bit. It took a while to get the sight dialed in and needed to be raised almost to the max height adjustment on the rear sight.. The pistol was pretty accurate once I got the sight correct.
With a new CO2 cartridge the first 25 rounds work pretty good. After the first 25 the pellets, the pellet would not puncture an empty 2 plastic 2 liter coke bottle. Shooting more than 35 rounds with a single CO2 cartridge, sometimes the gun would jam. After I got the mag removed, there was a pellet cut in half causing the problem. I went thru 10 cartridges and the gun jammed 5 times. Always after 30/35 rounds. Never figured out what was causing the problem. If I changed CO2 cartridges after 30 rounds it seemed to work without issue. I was disappointed not being able to get 50 rounds on a single CO2.

Whenever I shoot it with a full Co2 the first shot is good but after that the shots keep lumping down as if not enough CO2 is pushing through. I wait 5secs and even 10 sec b4 the next shot but still the same. Is there a way to fix that? Cause I thought this was a competition air pistol .... after the first shot it shoots my pellets (177 H&N Terminataor) like it’s tossing it rather than shooting it...

I bought the X5 co2 Blow back pellet pistol from Pyramydair India about 2 months ago. From day one the pistol was not free of problems. Jamming of pellets after about 8- 10 shots was of everyday happening. In the first 15 days the pin holding the foresight dropped and I had to fix it with scotch tape. The rivet holding the trigger assembled is loose and after 40- 50 shots starts moving out , the height adjustment screw in back sight is loose and turns one click after 15 - 20 shots. Today the slide jammed halfway and I am not able to move it forward or backward.
I purchased this pistol assuming that it has been designed by sigsaur and manufactured in Japan so the quality would be good. But unfortunately it appears that there are serious problems in design and manufacturing quality.
However pistol is solidly built and accuracy is very good but the quality level is awful and I would not recommend its purchase

I bought it and at first it worked great then it jammed and it went south. I had the pistol less 45 days so I called the place I purchased it from they are sending me a shipping label to send it back. The rotating clip seem to be the problem, wish they would make it better.

I've owned pellet pistols more and less expensive, and several manufacturers. This one had a lot of promise given the weight and physical appearance, large magazine, and being backed by a great company. But like many others, the magazine track jammed frequently. Smashed pellets came out when I was lucky enough to un-jam. Until the one that didn't. I took the pistol apart to get the jammed pellet out, but the process was much more complicated than other airguns (replica 1911's, Beretta 92, PX4-Storm, CZ P75). I know these are not designed to be handled by users. But this model proved impossible for me and I ruined it trying to replace the pins around the trigger. May sell it for parts and go back to the Berettas. I'm just glad the firearm side of the company doesn't make products like this. Those are rock solid and incredibly reliable, so I regret having to tell this story.

This thing jams on every ninth round, loses air and now for the first time I cannot get the clip out

Looks, feel and accuracy. I like the loading style and shot count. Get the extra mags if possible.
Things I would have changed:Better round feeding mechanism. Unit jams constantly, I am on my second one because first piece would jam after only a few rounds. Had to stick a piece of wood to break it loose.
What others should know:This is my second, first one got warrantied by PyramidAir.
It would jam after a few rounds.
The second still does jam but every other magazine.

I bought this a month ago and had t return it because it would not fire properly.

Even without pellets loaded the 20 shot mag will not rotate properly when dry firing. Have had one jam after another. C’mon Sig, we know you can do better. Without the mag the X5 is useless.

Received this gun yesterday! Like others have stated, I didn't get 5 shots off before it jammed! Bought an extra two mags and each one is the same they all jam!
This is a solid pistol other than the jamming, it's easy to see why, even when loading the mags, it's not a smooth action!

SigSauer has created a replica that is so realistic it's fanominal! The weight is what I wasn't ready for. When I opened the box and took hold of the weapon I truley thought someone messed up and put the real P225 in the package!
I really appreciate your dedication to the quality you applied to this air gun. It is very realistic and the weight makes it hard for someone to except that it's not a real firearm. And there's the warning, if an officer ask you if you have any firearms, make absolutely sure that you tell law enforcement imeadiately that your weapon is an air gun, AND do not touch it or reach for it until instructed to do so.
I hope to purchase another soon. Your products are outstanding and I hope to see another replicated air gun in the near future.
Thanks for the realism!

I bought this SIG air pistol because I own four Sig Sauer firearms and they are all outstanding. However, the X-Five air pistol is terrible. The problems include failure to cycle the slide, failure to discharge a pellet even when the slide does cycle, pellet stuck in barrel and now the magazine is stuck and cannot be removed.

Haven’t had a chance to put a lot of rounds through it yet but it has jammed once. It’s a lot of fun to shoot.

Bought this over the winter and had to miss several attempts to deliver, not sig's fault, but the carrier they chose to use. I finally got around to shooting it over the weekend and was very disappointed. Set up a couple empty pop cans and water bottles and it only dented the cans and bounced off the bottles. Even used at a rabbit as was the intended use to keep the pesky critters out of the yard and the rabbit was not phased by being hit. Jammed multiple times where the pellet slightly shot but did not fully exit the magazine, and had to use a thin rod to push the pellet back in the magazine just to eject the thing. I expected more from Sig. Good firearms manufacturer but not something like this.

Looking for an air pistol that was able to have meltable rounds and has the feel of a hand gun. The X-Five fills the bill.

The weight is really nice. Feels like the real thing.
Things I would have changed:The clip is kind of chincy.
What others should know:It is not very accurate. I'm not the only one that thinks that. I found out that a friend of mine in AZ bought the same gun a said it's no accurate at all. Wish he had told me before I waisted my money. Don't buy it.
