-Less Shots, More Power - Seems to go on forever when I would be happier with stronger shots but less shots per CO2 cartridge. -Stronger blowback, seems weak once it starts to cool. -A real wooden handle but it is impossible to tell... I can tell because lumber is a huge industry where I come from.

-I have a pair of those, great feel during Akimbo; if you're into that. -As close to the real thing as it gets. -A stunning piece, that's for sure. -Trigger starts to stick after a few CO2's; can really ruin your day if it's a cool day.

One of the best 1911 airguns available! Solid and heavy with a realistic recoil, wonderful parkerized-like finish. Accurate to 20 yards with Daisy co2s and premium steel BBs.

I added black rubber tactical grips as i dont like the plastic brown ones on it. A mag bumper would be nice too.

You will not regret owning this 1911 replica, its favourite along with the Sig Sauer 1911. Also you can use Madbull compensators on this without any filing.

I liked every thing about this gun from the moment I opened the box.

Having a adjustable rear sight would be nice.

This gun is a "tactical" version of the Tanfoglio Witness 1911, and a YT search will provide you with a TON of information on the TFW. Upon receiving the gun I promptly did a full dis-assembly to both properly lube it, and polish the trigger and hammer (my preference). I own several 4.5mm BB and 6mm BB Airsoft (Sig and Beretta) automatic pistols. The best all-around pistol that I own (IMHO) is a Beretta 84FS 4.5mm BB (https://www.pyramydair.com/product/beretta-m84fs-co2-bb-pistol?m=3285) now closely followed by the SA 1911 TRS. I recently ordered a bottle of H&N Excite Smart Shot BB's (https://www.pyramydair.com/product/h-n-excite-smart-shot-bb-bottle-177-cal-7-4-grains-copper-plated-lead?p=1382) and look forward to testing and writing a review on them. I've been a Pyramid Air customer for over 3-years, and their customer service is always stellar!

I like it all. It comes in a box; it looks good and do not worry about the plastic grips as they very much appear to be nice Rosewood checkered panels. The trigger is very crisp with no creep; pull weight is just a tad heavy but not enough to make you pull shots trying to get it to let off. Recoil impulse is brisk, functioning is flawless without any jams. The magazine inserts smoothly if you depress the button to insert it past the catch and it drops freely during removal. The sights are fixed and I might normally ask for adjustments but my sample shoots perfectly and consistently to 3/4" below the top of the front sight at 6 yards with perfect windage alignment. I pulled some shots but I knew when I did; when I was steady to aim the BB's grouped tightly together into a inch to 1-1/2" right at the aforementioned point just below the bulls-eye. I still may put a laser sight on this one to use for short range and indoor shooting, but when its bright out and I need the sights, I am set.

Maybe the magazine loading. The follower locks securely in place for loading, but each BB must be inserted individually into the top of the magazine and pushed into the loading channel by the subsequent BB. I favor the magazine designs that allow you to lock the follower back and a loading port is provided just above the follower where you can drop in all of the BB's quickly ahead of the follower. That is much faster. By the way, the most accurate and best grouping ammo I shot of 4 brands was the Excite Smart Shot lead copper coated BB.

The slide rails are bone dry on the pistol out of the box so I suggest lubing them. I used a light silicon grease after the first few magazines and could immediately tell it was functioning smoother. I also put a dab of this same lubricant on the magazine where it contacts the magazine catch to insure the smooth operation would continue. I received 60 good hard shots from my pistol with a fresh powerlet. After 65 shots it began to noticeably drop off in velocity and the slide ceased to cycle after shot 68. I own a dozen 1911 replica pistols with several at the same price point as this one. This is my first Swiss Arms purchase, but it will not be the last as I think I like this one more than all of the others.

Great pistol with real details of the real steal. The blowback is strong and return spring perfect force. Really nice fit in the hands , great quality !

Excellent finish. Faux wood grips could be more agressive , but look good and are grippy enough for an airgun. All-metal construction is a definfte plus! The overall appearance is terrific - I usually like "black guns," but the combination of chrome, matte, wood & black sights is visually pleasing. I love the fact that you can take this down. The blowback is good - reminds me that I need to pay attention to my grip and keep my eye on the target when I shoot. I use airguns as an inexpensive alternative to my "real" target shooting. Excellent airgun. I would buy it again.

Maybe a box for the BBs that ship with the gun, lol! My package was full of loose BBs when I opened it.

The Adjustable rear sights will help with any POI issues. Mine shot slightly high and left. Very accurate at 7 yards, but about 1.5" left. Don't know if that was just mine, or? You *should* get about 50 shots @ 65 degrees F.

I have several 1911 CO2 BB pistols most of which are finished in black or a weathered finish. This SA 1911 TRS is a unique version that I just had to add to my collection. The surface finish of the stainless steel is excellent. The lettering is engraved in the steel, not painted on. Although the traditional safety warnings on airguns don't bother me, I admit to liking this pistol even more because the safety warnings are not there. The white dot tactical sights are much better than the traditional 1911 sights. For a 1911 pistol with fixed sights, this one has excellent accuracy. The point of impact is actually the same as the point of aim at 18 feet distance to target. My bench rested 10 shot groups at 18 feet for most BBs were about 2" to 3" in size. Marksman Premium Grade Steel BBs produced the smallest 10 shot group at about 1 5/8". Although the grips are plastic, they have an attractive faux wood appearance.

BBs tested by shooting 10 shot groups from a bench rested position at 18 feet distance to target: Umarex Steel (2 1/2"), Copperhead (2 3/4"), Hornady Black Diamond (2 3/8"), Marksman (1 5/8"), Cybergun/Swiss Arms (2 1/8"), Smart Shot (2 1/4"), Daisy Premium (2 1/4"), and Daisy Avanti (2 1/8"). Total shot counts: Swiss Arms CO2 (62) and Umarex CO2 (65). The SA 1911 TRS comes in a cardboard box that includes the pistol, a hex wrench, BBs, and a threaded adapter for a faux suppressor if and/or when one becomes available. The end of the barrel is threaded so that the adapter can be screwed into the end of the barrel. A faux suppressor would be screwed onto the exposed end of the adapter.

Looks, feels, and functions like my Springfield Armory 1911. Accurate and very fun to shoot. Now I can practice in my backyard.

I recieved this gun today during lunch and i gotta say i could not put it down nice finish shoots great blow back and surprisingly accurate for a bb pistol.

other than having different options for grips .

buy lots of co2 and extra mags, and have fun plinking.

This gun was a real suprise I have over 15 , 1911BB GUNS *all different brands including authentic ones and the finish on this was done in true replica fashion ,the blowback was right on the trigger pull felt real smooth power was there you'll feel it got a good 75 shots definite worth having got mine today and already put about 500 rounds lots of fun try shooting at balloons with powder inside .

Should have accessories with the same finish.enjoy the gun as is don't try and mod.

Lube the rails if you're going to shoot for a while.
