Amazing Bow, solid and reliable. This bow has exceeded my expectations and the scope struts are solid!

This crossbow is a masterpiece of engineering! It is super accurate and reliable. My 505 is generating 521 fps with a 400 grain arrow. With a 470 grain hunting arrow, I’m still at 500 fps. It is a wonderful bow! There are however, consequences to this much speed and power. It will blow through even the strongest of archery targets with successive shots to the same bullseye. More than one shot is a risk and more than two is going through! The strongest targets and broadheads are an absolute necessity. The technology of this bow is a bit ahead of its time. Perhaps shooting this from a tree stand or otherwise elevated position would be desirable for recovering your arrows. This crossbow is a monster! There are no real comparisons to other crossbows. The closest competitor is not even close! With the right arrow, this crossbow will produce more power at 70 yards than any other crossbow at point blank range. Fact! The truth is that this crossbow is a want and not a need. It’s overpowered even for elephants.

Would highly recommend tenpoint it’s a high quality top of the line crossbow Don’t aim at the same spot twice b/c u will Robin Hood a bolt and spend the money on a good target b/c it packs a punch very happy lifelong customer

I'm glad to tell anyone about the Nitro 505. At first it's a little intimidating but that leaves after you send it down range. Thrilling afterwards. I have a few weeks to wait before I get a chance for an animal

Shot 4 bolts after purchase… string Broke looking at minimum of 2 weeks to get parts. Kinda disappointed when you spend big dollars for something you can’t even get sighted in before you have to bring it back to the store🤔🤔

have been buying Tenpoint crossbows for over a decade and up until now they have all been great. While this bow shoots incredibly fast it is very inaccurate with broadheads. I tried the tenpoint factory broadheads as well as several other brands to no avail.

If you looking for the new apex in high end crossbows this is the model to own. Tenpoint has morphed this model along over the years and eliminated some of the things consumers did not like and added more if what they ask for. The bow hits the real advertised speeds and a bit more regardless of the chronograph used and no lite weight arrows spec to push the speeds up......gee wiz what a concept for others to follow. The Nitro 505 shoulders amazing because it has the correct l.O.P. designed in to the stock and trigger distance. The ability to decock after the hunt is a real bonus too. With correct arrows this bow is as accurate as there is. Be sure of one thing and that is this bow is in a class all of its own when comparing to other offering from competitive manufactures.....I own a few Ravins too and like those as well but this bow shoots so nice and the shot feel is superb do the the beefier design and weight. For the first time in my life and literally thousands of dollar spent on bows, I finally own a bow that I would not change anything on. Tenpoint has truly earned their spot here as the top performer in the industry wit this model.

Everything I had hoped for, I did my research beforehand and the nitro 505 stood out.

Nitro 505 - compact, very powerful, easy to use, 1/4” group at 40yards, so far so good.

This bow is very accurate an quite!, I love the feel an grip of the bow easy to shoot an hold, it's not very heavy like some bows!

Shoots great deadly accurate hard to find a target to stop it

I purchased my Nitro 505 a few months ago and havent been able to see how it performs throughout a full deer season. That being said, there is only one area of improvement I would like to see- the 2 stage trigger. I assumed it would be pretty- much the same as a 2 stage trigger used in a rifle. That is not the case. There is simply "loose slack" taken up and then the actual trigger pull. The bow appears to be exceptionally well- built, with one of the best traditional crossbow scopes on the market. After a full season of use, I will try to update this review.

The 505 is as solid of a crossbow as I have owned. It is blazing fast, shoulders great, and shoots amazing. The accu-slide is hands down the best cocking system in the market.

A sturdy extremely fast crossbow. Make sure you have a top notch target or the bolts will blow through it. Lesson learned the hard way

The Nitro is a very balanced bow! It provides the stability that is needed to steady a quick shot, and the longevity to secure that ethical positioning that can sometimes take awhile. The Nitro 505 isn’t the lightest bow made but the stability and balance definitely makes up the difference! Did I also mention that the speed of this bow is wickedly smooth and fast! Sold me and my wife (who is a hard sell) period! You have to be able to justify the price of this bow in this hunting family or it doesn’t get bought! So far so good with the Nitro 505!

Bow shoots extremely fast n flat. Had a couple issues being repaired now at tenpoint. Company always been stellar concerning service. Love the bow!

The bow is lightning quick. Took out a buck in 2022 during archery 50 yards and he fell like a stone. Can't say enough about the new cocking and decocking. It is much safer and better designed than the previous generation. Still love my 1st tenpoint crossbow and it knocked down 10 bucks over the years. But the new bow it h struck and this one is a keeper.

This bow is bad to the bone. Super accurate, fast, quiet and easy to shoot. The Accudraw works great. Have not gotten a deer with it yet. So I can't speak to that. It is a little pricey. That is the only drawback.
