    Things I liked:

QUIET accurate shoots very well at this time I got rained out will follow up with some longer range shooting

    Things I would have changed:

long trigger pull-I am not used to that length of pull on a trigger

    What others should know:

buy one or two!!! I am going to get another one. They shoot well low noise and are not really heavy put it on a bench or sticks and you have it made

    Things I liked:

Accuracy consistency. 10-shot magazine. Tank capacity. Number of shots before recharging.

    Things I would have changed:

    Easier bolt action.

    What others should know:

My first experience: Used my compressor to fill tank (was quicker than I expected). Shot 4 magazines (40 pellets) and tank pressure gauge indicates over half capability remaining before recharge. Used a red-dot scope I had on hand. Worked for me. After sighting in, at 20 yards, target impact was accurate and consistent.

    Things I liked:

Insanely accurate. Before and after cleaning the barrel.Practically hitting the same hole at 35yrds.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a Bullpup??It's long but not bad in weight and length.

    What others should know:

I received mine with Zero air and used a hand pump. Let me tell you, I am in pretty good shape, weight lifted since I was a teen , I'm now 62 and weigh about 195lbs. It took a lot of pumps to get to around 4000psi, but even when I used my whole weight I couldn't compress it anymore. It is a work out. The plus side is I've probably shot about 80 pellets and the gauge is still around 3300psi.

    Things I liked:

Power with a capital P. Value for the money is excellent. Very accurate. Back yard quiet for the rifle but the sound is the smack on the target.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a cover for the air bottle as the bottle is ugly. I would like a longer bolt handle for more leverage and instead of the knurled cylinder style handle maybe a smooth round ball. The bolt takes a heavy pull and I can't move the handle without taking the rifle off my shoulder. It is kind of like using a Enfield rifle.

    What others should know:

Try to pull by putting you thumb on the rear of the receiver and squeezing the thumb and fore finger together. Pulling straight back with the palm down and using your shoulder to pull is tiring. Pulling with the palm up and using the bicep works better. The trigger is a 2 stage but after taking up the creep the let off is crisp. This rifle lends itself to dressing it up with a bottle cover and adding other accessories. When it first arrived I wanted to return it because it is UGLY. However, like the .45 Automatic M1911A1, it may be ugly but it get the job done. Lastly, the rifle is best for hunting and plinking. For match shooting the bolt pull is just to tiring to use in a long match.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy dead on. Weight is not overbearing. Trigger is touchy, but I personally like where it is set upon arrival. Gauge is easy to see when shooting. Groupings so tight that it's tough to tell how many pellets were in the group. Clips work great. They claim 50 shots on a full tank. I havent shot that yet. But, I did shoot 32 and dropped from about 4100psi to about 1800psi.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't love the cheekpiece, but that is neither here nor there. Safety. I just don't like it. It's functional of course but placement feels off. 4500psi is a workout with a pump (it's worth it though).

    What others should know:

Short scope mounts may not clear the clip. You're going to love it.

Very user friendly, back yard friendly. More accurate then I expected. Worth every dollar.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish the cheek adj. Would rise a little higher

    What others should know:

If you are new lke me, don't let fear make you hesitant. I purchased the umarreready air and was shooting in no time.

    Things I liked:

Overall, I like the Gen 2. It's hard to beat performance for the price. Looks and Performance are great. Shot count is excellent with heavier pellets like 25.39 gr JSB Monsters and shot counts of 60 to 70 shots or more per fill. Short range accuracy is good in my home range but I have yet to test it at 100 to 150 yards outdoors. Make no mistake. This is a heavy rifle. It is made for hunting and bench rest shooting, and only for hunting if you can handle the weight. I do bench rest shooting so it fills the bill very well for me.

    Things I would have changed:

There is a lot I would have changed. The most important change I would have made is to have spent the extra $10.00 for PA testing before shipping. I would have reduced the weight, although I'm not sure how. I would tighten the cocking lever that 'wiggles' in the bolt hole. I would also make the last 1/4 inch of the bolt travel cycle A LOT easier. I would also have provided something other than the Shroud Restraining plastic Band to do the job of damping vibration. It is too hard to put that barrel band back in place if you take the shroud off of the rifle, as I did to install a short shroud and a Sumo. The manufacturer in China needs some quality control improvements, IMHO. However, I won't criticize minor faults if I can fix them myself. You get too much for the price to be picky. I love my Avengers and my .25 cal Gauntlet 1. So far, the Gen 2 looks very good and has the performance improvements built in this time.

    What others should know:

This is a new replacement for the first Gen 2 which I sent back to Umarex for repair. The replacement rifle was much better. Screws were tight and Chambering the pellet was easier. If you don't have PA do the $10.00 testing you may have to 'tinker' with the Gen 2. Look for loose screws. Choose your scope carefully. Eye relief for my Athelon Argos 6x24x50 required using both rings mounted on the rear Weaver rail to get a descent exit pupil field for my eye. I have only tested so far with JSB Jumbo Monster Diablo 25.39 gr .22 cal pellets and they performed well in my home range. With a 4K psi fill (I normally don't fill to the absolute limit), stats were: Average velocity 914.08 fps at 46.61 fpe and SDs of 10..66 fps and 1.15 fpe, respectively. Easily gets 60-70 shots with regulated pressure to spare. I like the rifle. Price is right in my budget range and performance per $$ is really good.

    Things I liked:

The Gauntlet 2 is a great air rifle. Great accuracy, over 60 shots, from one fill, all in the desired fps range.

    Things I would have changed:

I can't think of much, the Gauntlet 2 is a little heavy, but to get that shot count you need a big bottle. It is a little hard to cock, but once again that is the price you pay for the accuracy and shot count. I would not change a thing.

    What others should know:

Better get the Gauntlet 2 in .22 or .25, get a shoebox compressor and get after it.

    Things I liked:

this rifle does hit hard. I really like the impact sound.

    Things I would have changed:

the bolt pull-back is really hard, but the hammer has to hit hard, and it works.so I can except that.

    What others should know:

this rifle is heavy ,not for walking around in woods, but for my use it's perfect. .25 caliber is way to go, for ground and lawn cleaning. I fill to 4000 -4200 psi

    Things I liked:

    Shot count ,accurate . Power.

    Things I would have changed:

Easier cocking ,smooth up the bolt. Better QC , I had to pull the barrel forward to use mags or single shot tray ! Trigger ,, well it's just bad ,& difficult to adjust. THEN disassemble the gun to do it !

    What others should know:

Do the 10 for $10 or 20 for $20 so someone else works out some bugs. Get a compressor if you want to tweak this airgun as you'll empty air tank often ! Wish I had the chance to try it beforehand , I may have passed . Gun is massive , much larger than my Avenger ( w/new wood stock). You will do well to use shooting gloves when cocking & flipping safety off & on.

    Things I liked:

I've owned this gun for 2 weeks now, and fired approx 500 rounds. What I like is...... Ergonomics, size of tank, shot count, and color. Honestly, if I could return it and get a full refund, I would.

    Things I would have changed:

MANY! First, EVERY screw on the one I received was way loose! This trigger is by far the worst factor trigger I've ever seen. Long, gritty, and unpredictable. The action must be taken out of the stock/tank removed to reach the trigger adjustment... then adjust reassemble, test, apart, adjust, reassemble, test... you get the idea... annoying and time consuming at best. The "adjustable" cheek piece does not have enough adjustment to see through any scope without "reaching". When mounting a scope, to get proper eye relief, you must remove the front rail/mount for any scope larger than 40mm objective. The tank gauge...it is TINY and difficult to read... you'll need to rely on the compressor gauge or another for accurate fill pressure. Cocking is hard, but closing the action is harder.... it takes a literal "hit" with my hand to close it. Unimpressed with accuracy... I'm a decent shot, but even off bags, this gun will sometimes fire a nice group, and other times all over the place

    What others should know:

I pre-ordered this gun based on several early reviews that just raved about it, and basically said this gun was the best thing since sliced bread. I waited for MONTHS, and frankly, I am disappointed, and would not buy this gun again, nor recommend it. If you do decided to buy, make sure you spend the $10 for 10 shots money that Pyramid offers. They mount the tank, test for leaks, fire/chrono 10 shots, and inspect. With all the other issues in the gun I received, I would call this a "Buyer Beware" gun/purchase, because IMO there was too many corners cut to meet the price point....if the little things are overlooked like tightening screws/bolts at the factory, then often times bigger things are left undone or are poorly done. The only other PCP that this gun can be compared to the the Benjamin Marauder, and the Marauder is head and shoulders above this gun....in every way. Recommendation: Spend the extra money and buy a Marauder.

    Everything.

    Things I would have changed:

Give credit to Ralphie on YouTube for coming up with the 4500 psi reg and tank 3 years ago. His tank was .45 L and got 360 shots on one full tank at 750 fps.

    What others should know:

This is the same as the original Gauntlet with all of the Hajimoto tricks added from the factory plus the 4500 psi reg and tank only better. I sent a lot of money souping mine up. This is a bargain!!
