All around great bow. Love how smooth and fast it is.

As a first year crossbow hunter (after years with rifle) I wanted my skill to be the limit in my success, not the gear. So, I chose the Wicked Ridge by TenPoint Raider 400 crossbow for its undeniable quality and reliability. I took a 3.5 yr old buck on day 2. #TenPoint!

After being in the fence for years about buying a crossbow. I went for it this year. More days in the woods. After spending several weeks reading reviews scouring the internet I came to the conclusion wicked ridge was the brand I was going to purchase. Made in America lots of positive things said about the brand and products. Well finally settled on this model because of the crank cocker/decocker. Bad shoulder and bad knees. And I like not having to carry a discharge arrow or small target less to forget less to pack in the truck. Anyways got my bow in a timely manner out it together easy process. After a little adjustment it was hitting where I was aiming. Impressed at how it grouped with off hand shooting improved greatly when using a shooting stick. While I don’t have a chronograph I can’t verify the speed but judging by the way bolts impacts the target it’s fast. My 10 year old grandson wanted to try it so I let him have a go with it. At 25 yards off hand he was shooting 3 inch groups. He now wants one of his own. Then my wife wanted to try she was able to shooting about the same size group. She even commented that she might actually try hunting this fall if i let her use my crossbow. I bought the package deal and wasn’t expecting the optic to be very tough, well I knocked the crossbow off the tailgate of my truck in the gravel at my hunting spot putting everything back in the truck, it took a good lick and checked zero when I got home it held. Needless to say i think i got a lot for my money, and im not easy to impress.

Finally had to give up my compound bow. But on the bright side, I now have a Raider 400 De-Cock. Cocking and de-cocking is a breeze, accurate beyond compare, and I can not believe how fast 400 fps can feel, even after moving from a fast compound bow.

This crossbow is great because of its light weight and the ability to use it tight spaces. I’m an avid deer and turkey hunter and this crossbow is perfect for tree stands and/or ground blinds!

Used for only a week or so before firearm season. So time will tell if it will hold up or not. At the time of this review with very little time used I had to give it a 5. I really enjoy the decock feature, it was a huge reason I purchased the crossbow.

This crossbow is slightly heavy for me, but after many practice shooting, it's very accurate.

I’ve been hunting for 45 years. The Wicked ridge crossbows are the best I have found. I’ve shot my Raider 400 against $3,000 bows and it preforms just as well at a fraction of the cost. I will never shoot anything else!! I also love the de-cock ability. It’s very safe and easy to use. I’m a disabled hunter so the ability to cock the bow by using the built in cocking device was a game changer for me. It’s very fast and extremely accurate. It’s also one of the lightest crossbow’s I have ever picked up. Which again as a disabled hunter was a huge plus for me.

I truly love the Crossbow and with the De - Cock . When you are on a fixed budget this is the bow . for all of you out there with a small budget get this bow , you can't go wrong .

The Raider 400 De-Cock is extremely fast, quiet and accurate, also very easy to cock, de-cock and shoot. This crossbow also meets the NY hunting guidelines for limb width. I would recommend this crossbow.

Slowly walking bow is easy to cradle the on / off safety is added security while walking through brush as I check it often, flat shooting deer don't know what hit them they have flinched continued to walk and fall over dead overall highly satisfied with all features of this crossbow so impressed bought my son one also,
