I like all the features on the Raider 400 with the exception of one. Accudraw works as it should, cocking and decocking. However... When the claw(that grabs the string) locks back into its stored position, it has a tendency to jump out of its stored position. If the accudraw was tipped forward and down, or the straps exited the accudraw at a lower point of the housing, it would assist in keeping the claw locked into its stored position out of the way. Tightening the crank handle just isn''t enough to keep it secure. An unsecure claw will rattle slightly and cause the animal to spook if you're not very cautious.

Replaced an Excalibur crossbow. Good speed and arrow flight. Decock is worth the money. Much better width for tree stands and blinds. Safety features are out standing.

Nice shooting bow.quiver is mounted in a way that the arrows are in way when cocking and decocking.

Since i had shoulder surgery i had to go to a crossbow and the Raider 400 let's me be able to hunt

i love the bow , i thought the scope should be illuminated. i like the idea of the accudraw but it needs work, it’s a little sloppy

I like the decocking ability of this crossbow and the cocking of bow is quiet compared to my horton storm. The reason i bought crossbow was my horton storm string broke when i shot it at target during the 6th week of Pa. Bow season and i wanted to keep hunting. I shot a doe with raider 400 de-cocker after only 4 days of hunting .impressed by how balanced the bow is.As has been previously mentioned by other de-cock owners the claw would not stay tight in stock after i followed directions on video. I used a mini bungy cord to hold tightly in place .

I love my Raider crossbow, but on my third day out hunting the mechanism that sets the bow broke and won’t sit in the resting position. It bobbles loosely. Didn’t stop my hunting, but definitely needs fixed. I took it back to the lady who sold it to me and she said they’re having issues with it and are working on a fix. I’m hoping for a recall and better design for this part soon. In the meantime, hunting resumes after Christmas for a bit and I’ll be out. Will take it to be repaired under warranty after that.

I purchased the Raider 400 Decock after much research. Great features at a reasonable price. My only disappointment is the trigger. Mine breaks at about 4 lbs. All my rifles triggers break at 2.5 lbs. and that is what I am familiar with. Advertised at 3.5 lbs. and I hoped it would be that or less. I'm sure I will get used to it with practice. That being said it is fairly accurate and I will hunt with it next season.

Very easy to use for a beginner, also light enough for my kids to handle. Extremely accurate out to 40yds. My ten year old daughter shot a buck at 20yds 4th time out with lighted tenpoint bolts. Went through the deer and another 10yds past. Auto cocking and decocking feature works very well also.

great crossbow shoots great right out of the case i would recommend

The plastic part that pulls the string back did not secure properly when stored after cocking. It flopped around and would make noise. Took it back to where I bought it and they added a part which now secures the plastic part. Otherwise it is a nice bow.

Excellent performance. One minor issue but was quickly addressed by the Ten point Team. Thank You for the super customer service.

Excellent bow. Deadly accurate. I have harvested 1 buck and 2 does with my Raider so far. I am left handed and a major disappointment is the manual stated I could change the safety from right hand to left hand. When I took my bow to an authorized dealer I was told the safety could not be changed on my bow model. I would have purchased another model if I had known the Raider could not be changed. Is ther a way to correct this? Fred Walker

Very nice crossbow for the price. Extremely accurate. Wish it would have come with dampeners, it's pretty load. Very powerful though.

Solid bow for the money, and the addition of the decock puts it at the top of the class in its bracket. Trigger is decent, not as good as some others. Cocking device is excellent. Groups well with factory arrows, groups better with custom arrows.

Great crossbow, needs a variable power scope though to take advantage of heavier bolts for better penetration at longer range

This bow shoots great, easy to handle. It shot a nice 8!pointer with my first arrow. The only concern I have is when put the decocker is place it falls out easily. I have to work at itvto get it into place. I’ve put a zelcro strap around it to keep it in place which works perfectly!!! I love the crossbow

Love my new Raider 400 De-Cock! I used to bring the crossbow back home after leaving the stand and hauling out my target and shooting a field point bolt into the target to de-cock the crossbow. So much easier with the de-cock system! I had an issue with my Rampage 360 and had to take it for repair but it was coming into rut season and I couldn't wait 2 weeks to get my Rampage 360 back so I bought the Raider, brought it home and sighted it in, and shot a nice 8-point buck the next night. What a great first year archery experience for me!

So far this crossbow as been a very good choice. Very accurate and easy to cock or decock. The only cons I have for it is the camo pattern has to much white patches to conceal it totally in a blind. Would like an all black version
