Pellets were very clean and uniform in shape and size. They do a lot of damage to soft targets and were really consistent at 10 yards for grouping. I tried these pellets with 3 different springers rated at 1000 fps.
Things I would have changed:More pellets for the money. The little tin and only 200 pellets for almost $13.00 is a joke to me. Some of the polymer tips flew off in mid-air before hitting the target and it really affected accuracy.
What others should know:NOT a good long range pellet. I had high hopes when I saw my groups at 10 yards but these would not group at 20 yards out of any of my springers. I can stack pellets up to 30 yds. with Superdomes, JSB's, and CPHP but cannot get a good group with these predators. A little dissapointed with these after all the good reviews I read about them.

I like the fact that the pellets look like their going to do damage, but as far as performance they did great, Expansion was uniform and consistent as well as the pellets their selves and they expand more rapidly and consistently than any other hollow point pellets I ever tested in ballistics gel. Because of the rapid expansion and great energy transfer they only penetrate 4 inches into ballistics gel leaving the polymer tip at one inch which allowed it to expand so rapidly, Which means it will humanely and effective take down small game in the field without over penetrating.
Things I would have changed:I would like it if Predator International came out with a 10 gr version of these or heavier because these don't shoot very accurate at all at high velocities, in my Benjamin Discovery I can only shoot good groups at 10 to 15 yards but thats all I need for now with my backyard as my hunting field but its pretty disappointing knowing that If I see game at 20 or 30 yards I cant take it using these pellets. It would also be better if they used stronger lead to make these so the expansion cup doesn't fold all the way back and it keeps its maximum diameter throughout the entire penetration.
What others should know:Great hunting pellets, not very accurate at high velocities probably do really good if kept under 850 FPS, and its good to know you dont have to always have to go for a head shot in order to get a clean kill.

Pellets are clean and great knock down power.Work really well in my Gamo Big Cat 1200.A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Things I would have changed:The tin needs a better lid design.
What others should know:Try different pellets until you find the ones that work in your gun and stick with thoughs.

These pellets are extremely accurate in both my .177 caliber guns I own a Crosman 1377 pistol and a Walther force 1000 rifle and I have to tell you these polymags shoot like match grade ammo in both guns and they don't run out of steam like the flat nosed pellets due to their higher ballistic coeficent shape the shatp pointed poly tip is great.
Things I would have changed:The only thing I would change is maby the price but in this world you get what you pay for. And why dont somebody try to make a boattail version of this allready remarkable pellet???
What others should know:I shot this pellet into several 2 liter bottles full of water to check out expansion, well the Walther throwes these babys out at close to 950 fps.and the Crosman pistol at an honest 600fps with 15 pumps I have a Melon air flat top piston and valve in it. A stock 1377 wont do quite that well but the polymag expanded a little out of both guns but what was impressive was the way they seemed to tumble when they hit the water kinda like certain M-16 ammo used to do in the Viet Cong they sometimes seem to flatten sideways I'll bet they will kill small game like crazy when they connect with flesh and bones and destablize but haven't shot anything alive with them yet!!!!

This is the most accurate, hardest hitting pellet I have ever used. They penetrate 22 vehicle license plates stacked in front of a phone book. Not only do they go through both plates but they travel 1 1/2 inches into the phone book after passing through both plates.(Shot with Crosman Quest 1000 at 15 yards)
Things I would have changed:More pellets in can for money, screw top can or lock able plastic container. The tin they come in does not seal well.
What others should know:I own a Wildlife Control and removal business. I use my air rifle too dispatch animals in live traps that can not be released back into the wild. These pellets have produced one shot humane kills out of my Crosman Quest 1000 on the following animals. Skunk, Raccoon, Squirrel, Pigeon, and Groundhog.

I was looking for a pellet for hunting squirrel. There were two aspects that were important to me; accuracy and penetration. Accuracy was most important so that an ethical shot could be taken. I purchsed a Gamo Big Cat and tried all the typical pellets available at large discount stores. I was frustrated with my air rifle that I purchased and was not willing to take it hunting because of the horrible patterns it was shooting with all the pellets I tried. I turned to the internet and researched pellets. There was one that had a long list of high reviews. The pellet- JSB Predator Polymag. I purchased some and was very happy to find that my rifle was very accurate, the prior pellets were not. The predator polymag shot extremely well and accurate from the air rifle. I shot five times at approximately 15 yards and hit a 3/4” round target sticker 3 times and the other 2 shots were right beside the sticker, but not touching. I moved the target to approximately 30 yards and expecting a drop in trajectory, aimed approximately 1 ½” above the sticker. The shot hit approximately where I aimed. I placed the crosshairs on the top edge of the sticker and hit it with the shot. The predator polymag definitely provided the accuracy needed for ethical hunting. I tested the penetration of the predator polymag by stacking several magazines into a box. I shot the magazines with several of the discount store pellets first. They all seemed to shoot deep enough into the magazines to satisfy an ethical shot. I then shot the predator polymag and was impressed with the result. The predator polymag shot almost twice as far into the magazines. I suppose it is due to the hard cone tip cutting a path for the rest of the lead pellet to follow. I was very confident that the predator polymag was going to perform well in the woods. Squirrels are tough animals. I truly thought I would have to make head shots. Nope, the predator polymag has such great penetration that you can shoot a squirrel (with a 1,000 fps air rifle) though the shoulder as it will break bone and go through the chest cavity making a quick kill. In fact, I have not had a squirrel run off after being shot. They all have dropped to the ground dead. Just what any ethical hunter would want.
Things I would have changed:The only problem with the predator polymag is the price and availability. The pellets are expensive and are not carried by very many stores that are nationally available. Most people will have to purchase the pellet over the internet and pay a shipping cost.
What others should know:PyramydAir definitely has the best deal on the pellets, especially if you buy 3 packages and receive the 4th package free. This basically takes care of the shipping cost.

They look like a varmit stopper. I need more convincing evidence that these are good for long range. If you are shooting at targets or varmits less than 30 yards, then these will pop a hole like pushing a plastic straw in a juice box with a 16 oz hammer.
Things I would have changed:This pellet has a light front end and heavy back end. This is good for getting the pellet out of the gun, but causes a little trajectory instablity. Cars and prop engine planes are built front heavy for a reason: forward momentum.
What others should know:Depends on the air rifle. Some pellets work better in others, but these are not the long range pellets I am looking for in my Benjamin Discovery PCP.

Good quality control. Really good grouping with Great penetration for small game. Great bang for your buck.
Things I would have changed:Good product ... needs a screw on lid.
What others should know:Have made clean kills on squirrels and game birds. Users should feel confident on being able to bring down a variety of small game and fowl.
I shoot a gamo whisper vh and was previously shooting gamo red fire pelets. I tried these out becasue of the similar design and have decided to stay with them. Even though the gamo redfires are a little heavier and fit tighter and think the predators get more penetration and have bettrer quality control resulting in tighter groups and still for around the same price. Even though they are a little pricy to target shoot they are well worth the money for hunting!.

A+++++ As usual just as wicked as there ""BIG BROTHER"" the 22 caliber I just wish they would bring out ""BIG DADDY"" the 25 caliber every one is waiting for!!! Surely with the price & pellet count now days they can afford to make em in 25 caliber. Stop buyen new cars an BIGGER houses an get to maken the 25 caliber pellets hahaha... They better hurry before Gamo comes out with theres in 25 caliber like they have in 177, Because Gamo will be cheaper an take all there business!!!
Things I would have changed:Price goes up an pellet count goes down! Goen the wrong way should be price going down, or MORE per tin, for there loyal customers :)
What others should know:If every one that used these pellets would go on strike and not buy them maybe the price would go BACK down or the tin count would go back up like it use to be before they became so well liked! After my next $100 worth im goen on strike :) lol

These are my second favorite .177 pellet and my favorite in .22 cal. I hunt pests most of the year and these do a wonderful job. They hit, the lead mushrooms out real nice and the tip breaks off somewhere in the target pest A .22 at 900 fps is a fine pellet for groundhog taking up residence under the foundation of a cabin. I'm hoarding these because Michigan wants to ban lead ammo.
Things I would have changed:Make them in a non lead variety.
What others should know:If you hunt, you need these.

What others should know:If you looking to do any small game hunting like squirells or rabbits this is the pellet for you. Shot a squirrel with my old crossman 760 which I no longer usally use but since my gamo hunter wasnt sighted in with the new scope i gave it a shot. Hit the squirrel a 20yds at only like a 700fps shot the squirrel jump into the tree and within a sec or two fell right out. Left a blood stain on the squirrels fir of about a dime. I say thats a kickass pellet.

Everything! I shot these at a telephone book @ 25ft and they pentrated 1.5 - 1.75" every time with a perfect mushroom. I Finally tried them out Rabbit hunting @ 25 ft with my Beeman RS1 1000FPS and sent a rabbit flying head over heals. My guess is the round hit and mushroomed causing huge damage to Mr. Wabbit because he was gone after that hit. Shhhh..Im Hunting Wabit!
Things I would have changed:nothing

conformity of pellets and the overall quality also all pellets i used in 3 different cals had perfect tight barrel fit (.177/.20/.22 CALS)
Things I would have changed:the tins are a little hard to open and flimsy also they are a bit pricey for the average airgun owner
What others should know:I believe anyone with an older Sheridan 20 cal MUST try these pellets and see just how much you really enjoyed your OLD TIMER (the 20 cal sheridan) in the past ,WOW what a good pellet

Great accuracy. Fits great in my the Remington NPSS. Makes for a great hunting and/or target pellet. I'm able to hit a 1"x1" sqaure at 70-75 yds. The wind seems to have little to no effect on them.
Things I would have changed:Screw on lid.
What others should know:These pellets are fast, and can penatrate a bunch of materials! Be very careful what you are shooting at!

I shot a few of the Preditor 8.0 grain pellets and was not impressed. When they hit the target, they hit at an angle upon impact with the soft polymer tip. I'm sorry to say I wasn't very impressed. There are too many really good pellet on the market.
Things I would have changed:I don't think the polymer tip was such a good idea.
What others should know:Don't waste your money on these, there are too many other good pellets on the market today.
