I purchased Air Venturi 4500 air compressor in July 2020, it was on back order and didnt receive it until August. I must mention here that I purchased it from another air gun shop. I didnt use the compressor until about the end of September because I moved across the country. I had no problem at all with the compressor until the first of the new year 2021. I went to fill my rifle and as it was filling I noticed air bubbles popping up in the gauge. Before I could turn the compressor off I heard a small pop. All the oil in the gauge leaked out. I tried to contact Air Venturi left multiple messages but never received any return call. So I looked around and found this replacement here. Very fast shipping by these folks. As soon as I got the new gauge I installed it and everything has worked just fine so far.
Things I Would Have ChangedFor the cost of this compressor you would think that maybe it should have a better quality gauge, perhaps something digital.
What Others Should KnowMy Air Venturi 4500 has done a good job, though I am disappointed that the gauge failed so quickly. But most of all I am disappointed in their customer service, I left messages as instructed by their automated system, but never received any reply. You would think the gauge would still be under warranty. But at least I was able to find a replacement and also a new store to purchase more air gun supplies.
