Air Venturi 4500 PSI Quick Disconnect Dead Head

USED THIS TO CHECK NON-FUNCTIONING HILL COMPRESSOR TO SEE IF IT WOULD HELP CHECK FOR LEAKS. WORKED OK FOR THIS. STILL WAITING FOR MY REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR, THOUGH. NO WORD ON STATUS ON SHIPMENT OF NEW ONE YET.

The size of the product is small enough it would be easy lost or misplaced. I have taken a 1 1/4 in fender washer and polished center of washer so that the dead head could be snuggly pressed into washer, then i drilled small hole into washer and attached a key ring to washer. I plan on getting some plastic coated steel cable with crimps.

Not to spec. Unable to lock into the female fitting on my Air Venturi carbon fiber tank. Received two, each one in zip lock bag with China sticker. Neither one would work. Customer Service suggested possibly restocking fee & store credit only- for defective parts in zip lock bag? Tech support solved issue by refunding the items cost and advised that sanding would make these Dead Heads work. They did offer to send me a 3rd party female connector that was supposed to work. Last thing I need is more out of spec loose tolerance parts. By the way, my tank connector is branded Air Venturi which connects flawlessly to my RAW. Since the only other item in my order was $5 felt cleaning pellets 22cal so the non refunded shipping was quite expensive. This left me with a bad feeling when defective parts might incur restocking fee and only other option is pa gift card - my money back please I don't want to order anything else from you.

I understand for businesses that dealing with the public can be trying. Enacting policies that penalize customers (restocking fees) and tie up refund money (gift cards) for defective items or other seller generated problems is a no go for me. Unsurprisingly there were a few other PCP shooters at the range who will not deal with PA.

$10.00 for 50 cent part (.50 not accurate but you get the idea) that you will need to sand to make it functional is not ok!

Definitely caps the end of your line. Can be utilized to check the available air in a tank.

These (I have 2) are more difficult to remove and I have to twist them, some times with pliers. Other brands/makes work equally well but remove more easily.

Give the plug a much larger head. Its too small even for small hands to grab ahold of.

Like i said it's small. A ring at the top i think would make it less likely to lose. It's really pricy considering what it is.

Maybe add a ring through the top nut for pulling it out. The nut top does no good since this is not a threaded plub.

no, it works.

It fits my Umarex hand pump just fine. I mainly just leave it plugged into the pump to keep the end from getting anything in it while not using it. It is good to test the gauge and leaks.

No gauge on SCUBA tank, use the dead head to check remaining pressure in tank and to keep dirt/grime out of the fitting.
