Description
For many years, there has been a growing demand for a spring-piston air rifle that both young and experienced shooters alike can enjoy. The Air Venturi TR5 is poised to meet that demand! A 5-position adjustable buttstock that allows the user to fine-tune the length of pull between 12.75" and 14.75" and a vertically adjustable buttpad make the TR5 truly customizable for all shooters. Not to mention, weighing in at just 5 lbs., the rifle is extremely easy to handle.
A sub 25 lbs cocking effort ensures a very easy and enjoyable shooting experience. The smooth side lever actuates a self-indexing 5 round magazine, providing quick follow up shots. Two of these magazines are included to minimize your downtime.
Featuring a two-stage adjustable trigger, the TR5 is at home on the target range just as well as your backyard. If you really want to zero in on targets, mount an optic of your choosing onto the 11mm dovetail. And for those looking to add other accessories, there is a UIT rail on the underside of the stock forend (commonly found on 10-meter competition rifles) where you can add a handstop, sling mount, or even a bipod.
As an added bonus, each and every Air Venturi TR5 PRO ships with a metal muzzle brake for the front sight and a set of diopter sights installed. Each rifle is also individually tested for accuracy by one of our technicians. Each rifle is packaged with the target used for testing. This target will verify that your TR5 PRO is capable of producing a 3/4" center-to-center, 5-shot group or smaller at 10 meters with RWS Hobby pellets.
With all of its adjustability, this multi-shot springer is bound to be a favorite for shooters of all shapes and sizes. And, with the added assurance of a professional accuracy test, shooters can count on these guns to perform precisely right out of the box.

9 of 9 Air Venturi TR5 PRO .177 cal Target Air Rifle Reviews
Diapiter sights, 5 shot mag. Pretty good accuracy for the money.
Things I Would Have ChangedAdjustable stock is loose, with lots of wiggle in it. This should be improved
What Others Should KnowI shoot a 7 grain Beeman, or RWS pellet through the TM5, works great.
Low power so I can shot it in my basement. Easy to cock. Like the 5 round clips.
Things I Would Have ChangedPeep sight just thrown in box with rifle, and put a nick in barrel finish. After about a 100 rounds the peep sight feel apart. Explain the difference in clip design.
What Others Should KnowIt looked used.
Green color not the same on all rifle stock.
Two clips came with rifle but look very different.
Best FPS I get is about 340 not even close to the 500 FPS they claim.
Easy cocking. Good accuracy. Great size for 10 and 12 years old. Lots of fun!
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing for this price.
What Others Should KnowRifle works best if you keep it pointed down while reloading.
Light weight and adjustable stock so wife can shoot it. 5 shot clip. Green color is kind of cool. Accurate at 10 meters for backyard plinking. I got the pro model on sale at Pyramid Air for $99, so it was a great deal.
Things I Would Have ChangedSome sort of latch to keep the cocking lever from flipping open if you bump it. Stop pin for the diopter sight so it doesn't loosen and back off from the recoil. Some smaller inserts for the front sight. Ability to purchase additional 5 shot clips. Can't find them on Pyramid Air.
What Others Should KnowFun gun after you shoot it awhile and learn the quirks.
Meh... its not a izh 61, period. Nor is it a viable 10 meter or FT gun. However after 300 pells I established a routine for lobbing rounds at 10 meters in a relatively efficeint manner. 2" groups. A routine of seating pellets and learning to jig the cocking arm led to a slight amusment. EG a fun experinence. Nothing more.
Things I Would Have ChangedAdd a stop pin for ***sake . Nylon 11mm sight rail on a springer???? Brilliant. And worthess. Mount creep....
What Others Should KnowUnless you need an extra diopter sight dont spring for the pro version. After 300 various pellets open sight at 10 meters averaging 2.5" in groups and multiple mag feed issues.... conclusion nope!!!! Will I keep this? Probably not. Am thinking of gifting it to a coworker....rather than paying restocking fee to PA. If you possess any type of "better" airgun you will probably be disappointed with this. As stated it is not a izh61 clone, not even close.
Accuracy, 2- 5 shot clips
Things I Would Have ChangedMore inserts for sight
What Others Should KnowDiopter sight not needed save your money.
Easy cocking effort
Things I Would Have ChangedPlastic front sight block for adding height to globe sight cracked stronger plastic block needed Would like to see a post sight insert included
What Others Should KnowTwo of the additional pellet clips are loose fit for rws hobby pellets
Gun is very accurate, especially for a spring piston at this price. Sights are a good value. Was easy to zero in. Getting 2" groups at 60' when I focus on my shooting.
Things I Would Have ChangedRear diopter has a tendency to move back on the rail despite regular tightening, need better system to hold it in place. The colder it is the more likely it is to loosen and slide back, since I am planning to use this as a backyard biathalon rifle that is a concern.
What Others Should KnowMake sure rear diopter is tightened down or it will creep back on the rail.
Description is not clear on the sights.
The rear standard sight is on the rifle and the rear diopter is in the box.
The diopter clears these sights so I left it on.
Front sight and muzzle break are mounted and original sight is in the box.

The diopter sight works great; the rifle is light and adjustable
Things I Would Have ChangedThe magazines are kind of finicky, sometimes the pellets will fall out as you're inserting the magazine. The side lever tends to pop out without much effort.
What Others Should KnowA friend mistakenly stuck the magazine in the wrong way, and now it's unusable; i'm still tryna figure out how to fix it.
