Athlon Optics 3-18x50 Ares ETR, APRS6 FFP, .1 MIL, 34mm Tube

This optic punches well above its weight class for the price. Its currently sitting on a 18” 6 ARC gas gun that I use for 600 yard matches. The clarity is outstanding for Chinese produced glass. Minimal chromatic aberattion, bright illumination, great eye box, positive clicks and perfect tracking. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a 3-18 optic. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this scope.

Here’s the deal, I’ve got various mid level glass to high level glass. This one right here has one of the and clear views out of them all. All the scope features are crisp and clean. Will be recommending this to all my people

The scope is great but it would be nice if Athlon would include scope covers.

Mounted this optic tonight and compared it to my NF ATACR 4-14x42 (smaller objective than the Athlon Ares ETR 3-18x50). As the last light was fading, the Athlon compared extremely well. Looking across a field about 600 yards out and trying to see detail with both scopes, the Athlon was 90-95% of the ATACR, in terms of glass, clarity, low light performance and overall image.

The windage turret feel was fabulous--love the locking feature. The magnification and parallax are smooth and with good resistance to accidental turning. So far, love the reticle. The illumination is very well done. Fit and finish is excellent. My only complaint is that the elevation turret clicks are a bit rough. Although, as I've turned them the last hour, they are starting to smooth out. I am very happy with this optic for far. Can't wait to get it out to the 800-1000.

Will probably pick up a 4.5-30x56 soon.

Glass is clear with no edge blur throughout entire zoom range. Illuminated reticle is incredible.

Awesome optic - I liked my first one so much I bought another. I doubt it can be beat at its price point. Tracking/adjustments are 100%. I shoot this on a 22lr out to 350+ yards, so the turrets get used a lot, and always return right to zero. The APRS6 reticle is my favorite of all I’ve used. It’s got just enough info/holdovers to be helpful without being so cluttered it’s confusing or hides bullet trace. Highly recommend. Great glass, too.

Bulky scope but the glass beats the tar out of the Gen 1 Ares and the Helos lines. Consistent clicks and easy to reset zero stop and locking windage. Only complaint is it's huge and I knew that going in. With the extra sale price I'm very happy. Scope lives on my Xbolt 6.5PRC.

This scope and the others in it's line punch well above their pricepoint. I've had vortex razors, high end luepolds, and this beats everything in its pricepoint and some above its price point. The glass is amazing for the money, the turrets are solid and repeatable. It tracks perfectly. The locking windage is a nice touch, and the zero stop plain works. It is a bit heavy for its size but it doesn't disappoint in any other aspect. It has more ange of adjustments than I would ever need on the rifle build it is on. Dont even need 20MOA bases to help. I can dial out to over 1000 yards with the range of adjustment it has.

Glass is crisp and clean for the price tag. I have it mounted on my 6mm ARC for hunting/ target shooting.
