Fully featured, it has 10 different reticles (5 MOA and 5 MIL), six color palettes, and a NETD <25mK 400X300 12μm Thermal Sensor. The result is the delivery of a crisp image to the OLED display that all but guarantees success.
Athlon’s Cronus ATS is filled with helpful features to ensure the hunter is always on target with a display resolution of 1440X1080. With six different color palettes as well as brightness and contrast adjustments, it lets the hunter dial in based on his/her preferences. Even better, the 64GB of onboard memory with the ability to connect to a smartphone helps the hunter re-live the hunt.
Magnification on this thermal optic ranges from 3.78 - 15.1X with a 5.5° x 4.1° field of view. It can detect heat signatures out past 3,000 yards, and the recognition range is 1,530 yards.
It boasts a 10+ hour battery life to ensure it won’t die in the field with an adjustable, battery-saving automatic shutdown setting. Getting to the field is easy because even though it is a thermal scope with a lot of internal electronics, it doesn’t add an excessive amount of weight. It weighs 35.3 ounces and is 14.3 inches long.
