It took some digging to get the uncocked width of this crossbow, NY requires 17” minimum width uncocked for hunting. I settled on this Konflict 405 as I’ve been very happy with my Bear Cruzer G2 compound bow. I’ve never shot a crossbow before this but it’s very impressive. My only complaint is that being shorter, it’s a pain to cock it because my hands are up to my chin. I had to shorten the rope cocker to be able to do it at all but it’s still hard getting enough travel to fully cock it. I have order a crank for it.
