My son bought this for my Bear Constrictor CDX. After the sixth time, the cheap plastic sled broke, sending pieces several yards. Luckily away from me and without causing damage the bow
I bought this for my Bear X Intense. It looks pretty solid but it does not properly mount. It pulls to the right as I crank causing the crank handle to hit the rope. I'm pretty sure that I can modify a few things to get it to work properly but I shouldn't have to.
Even though I am 5' 10" I could not get the bow fully cocked with out the crank, which is slow and cumbersome. Plus there is the need for the added bracket to use the crank. It's a small disappointment but a inconvenience none the less.
What a piece of junk, bought this for my granddaughter’s crossbow. Brand new bow never fired and the bracket cut grooves in the stock. It flops from side to side and nicks the string. Not safe and would not recommend to anyone!
Easy installation. Easy to setup and use . Works great!
Ideally it would uncrank versus having to pull the sled out to loosen it enough to pull off the crossbow after cocking
Wobbly, hard to crank, right hand only and hard to use. It checks all the boxes for what you don't want in a hand crank to do. If I known how bad this hand crank was I would have purchased a different brand of crossbow. I will put it away and never use it, the cock rope is actually easier to use and a lot less trouble. Bear really needs to rethink the design
After having two shoulder replacement surgeries I had issues trying to cock my Bear Intense crossbow. I thought the cranking device would be a lot of help. While it does make cocking by crossbow easier, actually much easier I am disappointed on the mounting bracket. The bracket flops back and forth on the stock. If you don't get it perfectly straight it will lean to one side and the handle will nick the cord. I only wish they had made the mounting bracket a better fit..
The mount yoke is loose on the crossbow stock so it self aligns this makes it dig in an leave marks…. Not that bad for how it aligns…..the wax cocking string fray a little……the crank housing parts are machined From a high quality metal and work very good and feel high strength
Seems like a pretty good addition for older or younger archers. After installing this on a customers crossbow it seems like a solid piece of equipment my only concern was after you cock the crossbow the crank is a little tough to disengage from the mount it seems to stick to it. If you would would possibly taper the mounting points it wouldn't stick like it does.

After I almost lost a finger untangling a cocking rope, I purchased the crank. Works great and is safer in my opinion.
