CenterPoint Wrath 430X Silent Crank Crossbow

Decent bow, fast shooting for the price. Would get job done if I could actually hunt with it.

Centerpoint customer service. This is 2nd bow thay I have got in 1.5 years and maybe got 40 shots out of both. First bow, I got 4 shots in, silent crank snapped and damaged string. Sent back to pyramyd air for exchange, was backorder for close to 3 months. Finally got replacement in January (frigid cold) so didn't shoot untill spring and was fine. Fall comes, about hunting season and string snapped at cams about 30 shots total on bow. I serviced bow like instructed in Owners manual and had correct arrows and kocks. This time contacted cp, told me sting isn't covered even though it snapped at cams. I told them I'd like new cams at least, they then said cams are not covered either amd only the limbs. The still began to tell me authorized places to get serviced, I butted in and said unless this is for warranty reason I don't want too know. They said they will not be coming anything so I ended call. Would not trust cp again for products that could potentially harm or kill someone

Pyramyd air seems to be a awsome seller! They have good customer service, even though I had to wait months for my exchange die to being backorder a ton of times. They kept contact weekly with updates and helped me out. Center Point On the other hand is a joke and im very upset. Had this bow for less then year, shot maybe 30 times and sting breaks at cams, they didn't offer any help. I asked, if it was a issue at cams that broke sting would that be covered and they said no. But then continued to say I am recommend to buy cp replacement sting only! Ha ha ha. Dream on.

The crossbow in compact and shoots well. I like the adjustable stock and the ability to fold the foot loop. This is a upgrade from my current Sniper 370. Pyramid Air customer service is fantastic. It was damaged in shipment and replaced without an issue

This is an excellent crossbow for the money. 407fps using a 442gr bolt with a 100gr broad head. Accuracy is spot on with 4 shots at 20yds covering a dime and remains dead on further out. The silent crank works well. For those with shorter arms the crank/pull rope is hard to cock the bow with. Compact and narrow the bow has features of one costing twice as much. The folding foot stirrup makes a nice bench rest support.

One of the down sides is that it is quite front heavy and hard to hold off a rest. The scope would be more precise with standard crosshairs instead of circles for 20,30,40 and 50yds. But using the circles is more than adequate. The scope doesn't gather light well at dawn and dusk. The bow could use a scope upgrade but it isn't necessary. The trigger is a bit stiff and has a long pull and if having to hurry a shot it might be off the aim point. If having time to shoot the trigger breaks clean and is adequate. Not much purpose in a folding stock., I would have left it as an adjustable stock only.

For the value this is a 5, accuracy a 5. I give it a 4 overall because of the scope and how front heavy it is.

I changed out the quiver release for a kwikee quiver because the stock release was not easy to manoeuvre.

Best used in a ground blind using a bipod or tripod for support. Very hard to use in a hang on stand.

I bought as an entry crossbow and received a mid level crossbow and package for acstart price.

After approximately 25 shots, the Wrath 430x has exceeded my expectations. It shoots great, tigger is ok, it’s accurate, fast, and not to loud.

So far I haven’t found anything I would change.

You won’t see 430 fps with a hunting set up but it’s 410-412fps consistently!
