This is an excellent crossbow for the money. 407fps using a 442gr bolt with a 100gr broad head. Accuracy is spot on with 4 shots at 20yds covering a dime and remains dead on further out. The silent crank works well. For those with shorter arms the crank/pull rope is hard to cock the bow with. Compact and narrow the bow has features of one costing twice as much. The folding foot stirrup makes a nice bench rest support.
Things I would have changed:One of the down sides is that it is quite front heavy and hard to hold off a rest. The scope would be more precise with standard crosshairs instead of circles for 20,30,40 and 50yds. But using the circles is more than adequate. The scope doesn't gather light well at dawn and dusk. The bow could use a scope upgrade but it isn't necessary. The trigger is a bit stiff and has a long pull and if having to hurry a shot it might be off the aim point. If having time to shoot the trigger breaks clean and is adequate. Not much purpose in a folding stock., I would have left it as an adjustable stock only.
What others should know:For the value this is a 5, accuracy a 5. I give it a 4 overall because of the scope and how front heavy it is. I changed out the quiver release for a kwikee quiver because the stock release was not easy to manoeuvre. Best used in a ground blind using a bipod or tripod for support. Very hard to use in a hang on stand.
