The Evanix Rex air rifle is a single shot "king." Lightweight and maneuverable at 5.5 lbs, this gun has true hunting power and versatility with up to 20 shots (in .22 and .25 caliber).
The trigger guard also acts as a unique under-lever cocking mechanism. Simply cock the gun by using the trigger guard as the under-lever and you'll notice it also exposes the loading port.
The Rex rifle is offered in .22, .25, .357, and .45 calibers, and features a metal stock with an integrated rear-mounted pressure gauge. The insulated air cylinder detaches for easy transport and storage, and has a rubber coating for a more comfortable cheek weld.
Knockdown ability with the Rex is awesome as the .22 caliber version offers 44 foot pounds of energy (FPE), and the .25 cal delivers 50 FPE. If you choose the .357 caliber Rex, you'll enjoy a whopping 153 FPE. More than enough to take the game of your choosing.
You'll be hard pressed to find a PCP rifle as lightweight and powerful as the Evanix Rex. This might just be your new favorite!

Lets start with this, I ordered a .45 cal and when the box arrived it was a .357 cal in a 45 box. Talk about bummed, But PA team got on it and I had a replacement .45 cal within 3 days GREAT JOB PA TEAM!. Now this is an very good rifle, the weight is very good could carry all day without issue, It packs a punch I started with 200 grain and took it to 280 grain and this thing will bring down some heavy game. Very accurate to 85 yards start to see groups open a bit after that. If you have been wanting one buy it, you will not be disappointed.
Things I would have changed:Chamfer the probe holes I was only able to insert probe a couple of times before they started to shred. Had to replace them i keep lots of spares. Evanix when you ship do the customer a solid and provide the actual barrel dia. It would be much easier ordering pellets, my barrel is actually .455 I have friends who is .457 So heads up Evanix. Utilize the excess space in the barrel shroud for baffles like some of the Hatsans Better Grip
What others should know:You should really consider having your bore dia. checked. I ordered pellets but due to inconsistencies in the pellets many would not fit. I you measure you the right size fit for a good seal. Buy spare fill probe o-rings I get 5mm x 9mm the probe works perfect now. Buy lots of pellets my first round at the range lasted 3 hours the last hour having a crowd behind me wanting to shoot it.

Can you recommend a larger air cylinder replacement to the Evanix Rex 357? I searched the entire web with no results.
I thought the Rex ba and fa bottles work with the changing of the tophat which would be the same as the gamo TC 35 and tc45 bottles.
There is no replacement for the Evanix air cylinders.
I can never seem to get a clear answer as to why you guys wont sell this Rex Rifle and Rex pistol In the bigger calibers any longer. The Rex pistol In .50 will do 182ft.-lbs, In a compact pistol that breaks down smaller!! There's nothing like It In terms of It's size, power and price. The Rex Rifle Is also Phenomenal In that It only weighs 5 pounds, Is very compact, balanced, and can be broken down smaller to be thrown Into a pack with extra spare tanks. Yeah the Texan SS or Carbine can too but It's not as compact, light and balanced and It's double the price of the Original Rex Rifle. The Rex rifle In .45, and .50 will fire a 350 grain slug and do over 260 Ft-lbs!!! All this In a 5 pound 35" carbine that can be taken down to under 24" and put Into a pack for hunting. That's Smaller than most Bullpups and alot more powerful than most Bullpups and rifles. I just don't get why your no longer offering these In there large calibers. They sold well, People loved them when they bought them. The Rex bottle models that your selling, that are rebadged as the "Gamo TC35/TC45", are no-where near as good as the Original Rex. There not as powerful. Also there not as compact, light, or balanced. Also at $1,000+, there double the price of the original Rex, which makes no sense because, If you want to spend $1000+ on a single shot, stripped down big bore, then You would just buy one of the fantastic Airforce Texans, not the Gamo TC45/TC35
Yes I'm aware of that that's why I posted that the gamo tc35 and tc45 are just rebadged Rex Ba and Rex Fa models. It's really sad your not selling this rifle anymore. Makes no sense. The pistol is amazing too. Looks like I'll have to order It from somewhere else or overseas
Once we sell the remaining stock of Evanix guns we will no longer sell them. The Gamo big bores are made by Evanix.

Fit and finish are still solid after 500 shots, same with all components. Accurate to small game level at 70 yards but could go far beyond. Fairly easy to hand pump if your in semi decent shape. Light and compact with the ability to take up to large game. A great addition to a bug out kit.
Things I would have changed:Ditch the fill probe, this bad boy eats o-rings like a real rex . Invest in 5mm by 2mm
What others should know:Order from here, had a problem early on with a leak and got superior customer service. Their advice did work but they said I couldn't use my hand pump and I totally did. Great low maintenance big bore.
