Description
This Slug Power Kit will increase the power of the FX Wildcat MKIII and FX Maverick when shooting slugs and allow custom tuning with a variable-length pellet probe that adjusts via an Allen bolt in the rear of the probe. The pin probe is compatible with .22 caliber versions of these air rifles, and .25 caliber versions with the included sleeve and O-rings, and allows fine-tuning that facilitates maximum accuracy.
The kit also includes a heavier hammer that will increase the power and velocity of each shot to give shooters even more performance than the base airgun provides, with possible velocity increases of up to 98 FPS.

What Others Should KnowI’ve ordered two of these for a .25 Maverick, both had the same issue. The hole for the probe/bolt retaking screw shaft was drilled to small making both slug probes unusable. First one I sent back, the second probe was just like the first and unusable. Rather than send it back and get three scrap probes I took it to the shop and machined it myself and it fits like a champ. Sent an email to Fx, told them to change the worn out drill bit on the line before too many of these get shipped. I’d guess there are 500-2000 of these bad probes in the system already. I’m still waiting on Orings for this guns 1st regulator which got assembled without lube, then backed out and blew seals as I tried to increase pressure. At this price point quality shouldn’t be an issue.
