Pretty much everything. First rate packaging, inside and outside. Flawless finish on the scope in every respect. At first I thought the focus and magnification rings were stuck but found that they were just VERY tight and when moved very positive, a plus in the long run. The scope view is extremely bright and clear from edge to edge. The reticle may not work for everyone but works very well for me in air rifle field target competition. Most impressive, when using the focus to determine distance the yardage markers on the focus ring were exactly on for known, marked yardage out to 35 yards. Will do out to 55 yards later but expect them to be the same. This scope comes with flip up covers, sun shade, and best of all a 4" focus wheel which is what I used to determine yardage. It's marked in 5 yard increments which works for me. The illuminated reticle is very good starting with 1, off, 2, off, and so on up to 6 which is very bright even in bright sunlight.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowI'm am an older shooter with several decades behind a rifle scope. I have been a fan of Leupold for most of that time based on their quality and warranty.
This particular Hawke has opened my eyes to the possibility that there are very good rifle scopes available that rival Leupold quality for a much lower price.
I'm going to order another of these to keep in reserve for my next rifle project.
