The original NateChrony! Black/Clear with 2 x 1/2 UNF Adapters, .177 to .30 cal The Clear case allows for maximum visibility of the power light - so you know it has power & its working. A barrel mounted chronograph for all air powered rifles. Highly accurate, compact and convenient - mounts directly to your barrel so you never miss a shot. Adapters available for other barrels (non-threaded) and other threads upon request. Powered by USB there's no batteries to worry about or anything to charge. Simply plug it into your mobile phone, tablet or USB power bank and you're set. Once powered you connect to its WiFi network and open a web page in a browser. Simple! No apps to install, no privacy or data concerns. All results viewing and configuration is done via a simple webpage interface - no button sequences to remember! Caliber: up to 30cal 7.62mm (contact us for larger calibers) Comes with 1x Standard and 1x Slimline adapter. Standard Adapters: Have large, easy to grip tabs to mount/unmount the adapter to the barrel - even in cold conditions while wearing gloves. However this adapter may not work on bullpups where there is minimal clearance between the barrel thread & an airtank or accessory. If you have small clearances then use our slimline adapters. Slimline Adapters: Have smaller grip tabs to mount/unmount the adapter to the barrel. Perfect for bullpups or where there are minimal clearances between the barrel thread & an airtank or accessory. These can be used where there is lots of clearance, however if you shoot with gloves or in the cold - the standard adapters may be an easier option to use. It can store over 1,000 shots! At least 250 in the current shot string, with 4 save slots also holding at least 250. Reads in either Metric (mps & joules) or imperial (fps & ft/lb). The NateChrony is always black, with different colours available for the cover & threaded adapters. Each NateChrony comes with 2 threaded adapters. I watched the Nate's videos on the setup and proper use of this and after I done it a couple times it's it's really easy to use and out 100 shot every shot registered.
Things I would have changed:It works really well so I don't think I would change anything.
What others should know:The videos that Nate put out, are must see. I was using a $40 chronograph before this and this one registered 20 feet per second faster than the other one. If I had to order another one I would buy the included cable

Well, lets get the obvious out of the way: the price is the most appealing thing at a glance. After spending $250 for an FX radar unit that was truly hit and miss before it gave up the ghost permanently, I am so pleased to have a simple unit that works each time with no hiccups, so far! I had a old piece of junk phone with no service but it works fine as a screen. I don't quite understand how that is, but my current phone is a new Samsung and it just wouldn't connect to the unit. But once my son's phone worked fine (android), we just took another old POS phone ( also a samsung) and it is used for this as its sole purpose. And it does work to be real clear. Of course I can't email results but that doesn't matter to me:) I have what I need with the data to get my Crown .30 cal dialed in. (See, I'm not an Fx hater but the service once reported on their chrony was really sketchy.) i just threw in the towel. I don't find having the roll of penny sized power stick to be any inconvenience
Things I would have changed:Can't think of much. Arrived sooner than expected in a neat little box. Very limited instructions but they are adequate, especially you're a bit tech savvy, I'm not.
What others should know:I like dealing with Pyramyd. I always find them to be very reliable. Very helpful with no quibbles, but in this case there certainly were none!! I bought a little pack of two neat power tubes from Amazon for $17.00 You'll need something like that. If you're on the fence with this or other pricier units and don't have buckets of cash to throw around, give it a try.
