Things I would have changed:The front and rear open sights. Though sufficient and extremely well made, would prefer a better visual aid. Use of the modern tru glow would be idle.
What others should know:The gun is heavy(I like that,wife doesn't), much heavier than my hatsan 95 or gamo, benji etc..airguns. Definitely a harder cocking effort,not quite the difficulty of the gamo magnum and much smoother ,but up there. Trigger guard and trigger are not the same quality as the rest of the rifle a little better than or equal to other companies for sure but not as nice as the rest of the rifle. Overall truly is a great rifle .

what is the differance in a spring piston and a gas piston is one a better chioce than the other
Spring piston is a piston propelled by a compressed spring, while a gas piston is a cylinder of compressed gas like the ones that assist your hood and possibly trunk of your car. The gas powered gun is better for cold weather but demands a more precise artillery hold, spring piston usually are more easy to shoot accurately but may break in below freezing conditions.
Does the .22 3500 have a globe front sight as shown in the pictures or a hooded fiber optic as described in the item details?

Things I would have changed:quality is so bad after 100 days of owning gun, the barrel moved up. so its no longer straight. still under warranty but the kids at Umarex say its user fault. Not quality issue. complete BS. I spent 40 bucks to ship this, thinking its under warranty. Well they wanted 109.00 to fix. I said send the piece of crap back. Ill heat the pressfit area of the barrel and scope and push it back. I suggest not buying any Umarex products. complete junk.
