The Springfield Armory M1 Carbine Tactical CO2 BB Rifle takes the popular and successful original model and adds a full-length metal Picatinny optics rail to the front of the air rifle to enable the addition of optics such as scopes or dot sights and other accessories, in order to improve the accuracy of shots and the functionality of the airgun.
In U.S. Military service from WWII through the 1970s, the legendary M1 Carbine is now available as a CO2 powered .177 caliber BB replica bearing the Springfield Armory crossed cannons! Available with a synthetic, wood-look stock or hardwood stock and a full metal action, the Springfield Armory M1 Carbine Tactical has the look and feel of the real thing.
Aiding in that realism is a gas-powered recoil system that gives the user the most authentic shooting experience possible. With each pull of the crisp, two-stage trigger, you'll send steel BBs downrange at speeds of up to 425 fps. Operating off of a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge held in the 15 round drop-free magazine, you can expect 40 good shots from this replica rifle.

If one gets spare magazines, does each magazine have to house its own CO2? Are the spare mags an upgrade from the default mags?
