This officially licensed Springfield Armory semi-automatic 6mm airsoft pistol crams plenty of realism into a compact, black, 3.8”-barreled package. It features realistic blowback action, grip safety, trigger safety, a full-metal magazine, ambidextrous magazine release and authentic markings. There’s a picatinny accessory rail under the front of its polymer frame and, just like its powder-burner cousin, ships with three interchangeable back straps to accommodate different-sized hands.
The 3.8” XDM’s green-gas power plant sends .2-gram BBs downrange at up to 280 FPS. It comes equipped with a 14-round compact magazine. For those looking for more capacity, the compact is compatible with the full size 25-round magazine, available in either a green gas or CO2 powered variant. The XDM Compact also includes a set of magazine extensions to form a full grip when using the full size magazines. On top of the slide, a red fiber optic front sight and a two dot rear sight make for quick and precise target acquisition. It also features adjustable hop up.

I really like this airsoft pistol. It feels like a regular XDm and with the blowback, it makes it very realistic for target practice. It is simple to use and easy to field strip and take care of after using it.
Things I would have changed:Nothing on this particular model but would like to see more Springfield Armory airsoft pistols, (i.e. Hellcat or XDs).
What others should know:Works great and is great for practice.

There is Plenty to be Desired to this Little Buddy ! First Off, I must Comment on The Build, It Has Characteristics of a Colt Officer's 45, a Sig Sauer P229, and a Glock 27 All Rolled into One Pistol Together !!! The Blowback Kick on it IS OUTRAGEOUS ! It Has a Solid Build , and although it is a "Compact" , It IS a Heavy , Rugged , Tough Little Guy !!! I have Chrono'd .20's at 317 fps contrary to the 200 fps that is stated on the description. Extras include 2 Backstraps , and 3 Magazine extensions, in case You wish to use a Bigger Magazine. PY Air did Do It's Best In sending me a Proper Pistol after the First one was Faulty, I Commend Them for That and That Is a Thing That I Like ...
Things I would have changed:Seeing that The Box Included All the Magazine Extensions, I Think They should Have Included a Larger Magazine along with the Smaller one , It Only makes Sense...You Can Never have enough Magazines for a Particular "New" Pistol. Other than That The Pistol Speaks for Itself as a PERFECT Replica of The Original , and an Excellent Training Pistol !
