The Umarex Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 Pellet Pistol improves upon the previous versions of this airgun by upgrading to shooting pellets through a rifled barrel instead of using BBs. It is capable of maximum velocities up to 350 FPS and makes an ideal training tool for those who own the firearm version, as well as a fun plinking airgun.
This air pistol version features a look and feel that is almost indistinguishable from the handgun model, with a similar size and weight. It uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge in the full-size 20-round belt-fed metal drop free magazine to power .177 caliber pellets through its rifled barrel that adds accuracy to every shot.
To further enhance this model's authenticity, it uses a full-metal slide and polymer frame, and it features blowback action to give shooters the feel of recoil, which can be especially helpful for those using it to maintain familiarity with the firearm version. The ergonomic grip uses texturing on all sides to provide a firm hold, in addition to featuring the familiar Glock logo.
To provide for increased accuracy when shooting, this airgun includes a fixed front post sight and a fixed rear notch sight, and a Weaver accessory rail under the muzzle allows for the attachment of items such as lights and lasers.

Does this gun shoot pointed pellets? Like the hn hornets
Yes, you can use them, at least the RWS HYPERMAX 5.2Gr, awesome results, better than flat nose
No. It is only recommended to use wadcutter or domed pellets. Nothing heavy or long.
Field strip like the Gen 4? The mag does look nearly identical to the PPQ M2 mag (with more polymer and no spring loaded eject) which means it probably loads the same way and, from my experience with the PPQ, will need a longish breaking-in period for that belt. (Both my mags skipped pellets like crazy for at least the first thirty loads.) The Walther doesn't field strip, so that hope is looking dim. The Glock 17 Gen 4 is, after all, totally tough to beat. Also have to wonder about an enclosed hex key for the cartridge like the PPQ has. Waiting is....
