Bought for my Viper and it falls off the scope with every shot. Even verified that i bought the right one. Once again Vortex disappoints.
These caps provide the ultimate lens protection against dust, scratches and fogging without sacrificing speed of scope use.
I enjoy how the cap fits and the function. The cover folds out of the way and allows unobstructed view down the side when trying to locate a long range target.
I am an elk and deer hunter … climbing hills in thick brush is part of elk hunting in Montana… these caps kept sliding off and eventually lost one permanently … snow got into objective … you need to engineer scope covers similar to Leupold that screw into scoop and can handle tough hunting conditions on the snow
